So great to have a Boba place in the neighborhood. The staff is very friendly. The brown sugar milk tea with Boba at 100% sweetness was perfect. We came around noon on a weekday and we're happy to see this business busy!

pricey spot, but the turon matcha latte is so good. despite it being a bit grainy, the banana flavor is strong and they also added sweet flakes which adds a bit of a crunchy texture. as for the yema latte, it didn't have any yema flavor and the coffee wasn't that strong.

We stopped by, intrigued by the Filipino food offerings and bubble tea/matcha offerings. Everything was GREAT. I loved the matcha lavender drink and it tasted very similar to the one at Starbucks, only better. The service was also top notch even though we arrived late at night. I'm certain the matcha wasn't ceremonial grade, but it was still quite good and I'd definitely come back for it again. The adobo with quail eggs was also really good.

We came here for the first time as we heard that it's owned by some nice people my parents know. We brought my parents here for lunch after attending mass and to celebrate my dad's birthday (he loves Filipino food). We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of Filipino desserts they have and other lunch options. We ordered a plethora of items from the silogs, 2 pancit molos, hubby ordered the palabok and parents got the cold desserts. I ordered one of my faves, the Taho! Kuya Fred was kind enough to give us complimentary fish balls on the house. Everything was tasty, wish they had a water station available! Prices are on the higher end, the drinks were around $10+ and up. I look forward to coming back again and trying other items! Great hospitality and customer service.

Got some refreshers after playing golf and this place is exactly what we need. Super friendly staff and very attentive. We ordered the Mango slush and buko pandan sago drink. It's so good and we were able to modify the sugar to keep the calorie intake which I love. Also they have milk substitute. I'm glad their hours are longer now and now I know where to go this summer to get some great food, desserts and drink.

4estea is such a wonderful addition to the area -- finally, a spot offering authentic Filipino snacks near Sunrise! It's a small place, but the moment you walk in, the cozy ambience and forestry-style décor make you feel right at home. You can tell it's a small start-up business built with passion, and I truly appreciate being able to support our own community and enjoy flavors that remind me of the Philippines. The food brought back so many memories. The ube champorado with salted fish was absolutely delicious -- warm, creamy, and perfectly balanced. It had that comforting, nostalgic taste that instantly brought me back to mornings in the Philippines. The kwek-kwek was another highlight: flavorful, freshly made, and so satisfying. The sauces, especially the vinegar and the sweet sauce, tasted exactly like the ones we grew up with. One bite and it felt like being transported straight back home. The arroz caldo was decent, though it could use a bit more meat and seasoning for our taste -- it leaned on the bland side. The chicken inasal had a strong ginger and garlic profile, which wasn't quite the traditional flavor you'd get in the Philippines, but it was still good in its own unique way. It's not the exact "home" taste, but you can tell they're putting effort and heart into their dishes, and that means a lot. Staff here are friendly, patient, and attentive, which made the experience even better. You can feel the hospitality and warmth -- something that's such a big part of Filipino culture.

I really wanted to like this place because I always try to support Filipino businesses, but overall I left pretty disappointed mainly because of the pricing and portions. The sisig bowl was a 1/5 for me. It was almost $20 for a small bowl and it didn't really taste like sisig. It leaned more toward bopis and just didn't match what I was expecting. The portion size also didn't feel worth the cost at all. The pandan sago was a 4/5. It was on the sweeter side but still good and enjoyable. The calamansi drink was a 2/5. I even ordered it with 100% sugar but it still didn't really taste like calamansi to me. The mango sago was good, but also a bit too sweet for my preference. Overall I like the idea of supporting the business and the menu has potential, but I personally can't justify the pricing. Almost every drink is close to $10 and the portions don't really match what you're paying for

In a nutshell; Great drinks to go, food is ok, pretty neat place. Not the biggest establishment , so there can be times when youre sitting down you could be literally next to the line, still, a lot of good drink choices that may stand out compared to a typical boba shop, it's also very well made. The food I've tried was rather underwhelming though for the price it's offered so Id say stick to the drinks. Still the lady at the desk was friendly and accommodating. Lots of parking around. Overall a nice spot but would rather have their drinks to go.

OKAY 4ESTEA!!!! Honestly, I didn't think much about this place before I came. I had it on my list but I'm happy I was able to try it! Inside is super well decorated & the service was really good! I was excited for the menu and it didn't disappoint. I ordered the Mango Lush drink and it was I'm not a fan of green tea but the cashier told me to increase the sweetness and that should help. OMG I didn't realize I've been drinking green tea wrong this whole time lol. I came in with a larger group of 6, and they forgot one of our drinks but they were quick to correct it. I'm excited to come back here. I wish they were closer to where I live lol.

!!!!! PSA to the Filipinos of the Sacramento area: you have to try the buko pandan halo-halo!! Maybe I'm just overly biased because I'm a big pandan flavoring fan, but this halo-halo is sooo goooood lol. Super bold pandan taste as there is no skimping on the silky pandan ice cream. Nice added texture from the jelly and the pinipig. The shredded cheese on top is *chef's kiss.* It balances the sweet drink with some saltiness (same functionality as the shredded cheese on top of ensaymada, IYKYK). As for other things that I tried here, the lychee ka! is alright; tastes pretty much like milk mixed with lychee juice drained from a lychee fruit can (a tad too sweet for me because of the syrupy taste). Average tofu bites with sriracha mayo dipping sauce. The banana turonitos are very cute lol miniature turon pieces that actually quite pack a punch in banana taste (so flavorful that I didn't even really need the accompanying brown sugar langka dipping sauce). Small and clean interior. Ample parking in this rather quiet plaza off of Sunrise Blvd.

Easy five stars. This new Filipino-inspired boba shop, which opened in May, has quickly become a standout spot in town. The menu offers a great variety of milk teas, fruit teas, and bobas, along with an impressive selection of halo-halo--some of the best I've tried anywhere. Each version is thoughtfully made and full of flavor. In addition to drinks and desserts, the food menu features delicious fried favorites such as lumpia, chicken wings, and french fries. Everything is prepared with quality ingredients and served fresh, making it a perfect place for both sweet treats and savory bites. The shop is run by a young couple whose friendliness and dedication create a welcoming, family-like atmosphere. Their hours are also very convenient--open until 9 pm most days and extended until 11 pm on Saturdays and Sundays (closed Mondays and Tuesdays). Overall, it's a simple concept executed very well: excellent flavors, warm service, and a comfortable space. A place definitely worth supporting--they are here to stay!

Today was my 2nd visit since they were first fairly newly opened. After my first visit I wanted to wait till I came again before doing a review because I ordered drink for others instead of myself. However, I did ask how the drinks were for those I bought it for. I will say the drinks were mid/bland at the time & only the matcha latte was given a good review. I remember purchasing a fruit tea & a mango sago. Fruit tea was watered down and mango sago was eh.. Not to mention, they are SLOW! I can see they would get busy with a flow of customers coming in but they are lacking a swift service. This second visit I would have to say the same slow service. When arrived there was another couple in front of us. They seemed to have been waiting a bit for an employee to come out to take their orders. Idk how many workers were working in the back but I've had to at least seen 3 for the amount of time I waited for 1 singular drink. Really not sure how things are being ran back there?? But definitely my biggest complaint has to be they are slow. If they moved a little more fast I would have an overall better experience. I waited 15 mins for 1 drink. There was the couple before me who did order 2 snack items & drink so I get the wait but still... what???? I been elsewhere where snacks would normally take longer but at least drinks are being pushed out first for quick service & customer satisfaction on wait times. Today I ordered a matcha haze. Matcha was incredibly yummy! It was def on the stronger side & a fine gritty texture, if you're into that. Perhaps the matcha could be mixed more to not have the texture with the aftertaste. It wasn't too sweet but the lavender foam placed on top was where the sweetness. Good balance esp with it being strong matcha taste. Workers are lovely though! They will walk out with your drink & hand it to you personally than the traditional counter area where they call out your name & hand you off.

We came here on a whim because I was craving matcha. My husband had the Muscat Verde and I had the Mais Con Matcha. Both drinks were amazing! The matcha is high quality and there were small pieces of corn which I loved. I also took a sip of the muscat verde drink and was pleasantly surprised. Not too sweet and the drinks were refreshing! The ambiance was calming because it was just us and another party. Service was quick and friendly. Thank you! read more

Very cute shop with ample seating to sit and chat while eating Halo Halo or drinking their yummy drinks. I got the Buko Pandan Halo Halo and the Ube Latte. Perfect amount of sweetness for the Halo Halo and I love pandan so I'm glad the flavor came out of it. The Ube latte was sweet but had the caffeine still come thru. My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this cafe while trying to find a post work out snack. We saw filipino food and matcha on the menu so we were convinced. When we walked in, we automatically loved the cozy aesthetic vibe of the cafe. There was decorative greenery and fairy lights through the store. We ordered the matcha latte and pork lumpia. The matcha was smooth and not too sweet (if you're asian you know this is a compliment), it was topped with a nice cream foam. And they use ceremonial grade matcha! The lumpia was also very flavorful and not oily at all. We met the husband and wife who owns this shop, Kate and Freddy. They were so kind and grateful that we stoped by. Sacramento is lacking in Filipino food spots, but 4estea fills that gap. They have a decent variety of filipino desserts and snacks, and they are even planning to expand their menu. This place is a gem, I definitely recommend checking them out. Support your local Filipino owned businesses! read more

Was visiting from the Bay over the weekend and happened upon this new spot after dinner. We were pleasantly surprised to see Filipino dessert options. We opted for the Buko Pandan and the Halo Halo. Both were delicious and not overly sweet. My daughter practically inhaled her Halo Halo. Ingredients were fresh and service was fast and friendly. The owner took her time to check in on us and was open to suggestions and comments. This spot is located in a quiet shopping center with plenty of parking. Me and my partner frequent this boba shop since we moved near the area! It's so so rare to find a Filipino boba shop! We have tried almost all of the menu and it has not disappointed! The food is so so delicious and I can confidently say that it rivals grill city. I can say the service is personal and family-like. I will say to take the 1 star reviews or the ones related to the time it takes for the drinks/food to arrive with a grain of salt as this is a small business. I feel like we should give more grace to small business owners especially support our Asian communities. I love you guys! read more

Love it! I love supporting Filipino businesses, so I was happy to see that they opened up so close to me! Yema Ice Coffee- 9/10 - I loved this drink! I usually don't like yema, other than this pastry a bakery I used to work at made, but this was delicious! It was perfectly sweetened and not too milky. The owner was very nice as well, I came here to study the first time I went and there were lots of outlets for charging. The one downside is there's no bathroom so I couldn't stay as long as I wanted. Will definitely be coming back to try their food and more drinks! read more

turon matcha SOO GOOD, i've never had anything like it! comes with caramalized banana slices with sweet and savory turon flakes :D they're very generous with the flakes! the owners were really nice. the inside is small but good for studying if you get here early on a weekday. the small tables have outlets :) i'll need to come back to try the food and desserts !! definitely worth a visit. read more

Unsanitary conditions!!!! They allow dogs inside, over the sales counter and at the dining tables, dog drool and shedding everywhere. The food and service is so good and we want to come back but cannot stand the gross dog policy, it's illegal anyway so hopefully they will put up signs and enforce the law in the future read more

I was trying to find a place near by that serve mango sago and found 4estea! I got mango sago and it was very good but supper sweet in the bottom of the cut . Next time I'll mix it before I drink it . Also we got taro milk tea and it was really good . Line was long but worth to wait. Definitely will be back ! read more

Great to have authentic Filipino boba in the area. The cantaloupe juice is refreshing. But nothing beats the buko pandan halo halo. It was amazing. The staffs are friendly and really accommodating. The tofu bites are my favorite. They should make it as part of their silogs. read more

We have been waiting for more Filipino spots to come up and we are happy to have 4estea nearby. My family and I have been here multiple times. Their drinks and snacks are well thought of, serving Filipino-inspired flavors. Good quality and great flavors. Our favorites are the yema latte, matcha latte, turon matcha latte, and kwek-kwek. My MIL appreciates that she can enjoy her matcha latte without the guilt (less sweet with oat milk options available). Their place is clean and the decor/ambiance is nice. There might be a little wait time because their team is small and mighty, but it is worth it! They do have pick up options for those who are in a rush. The staff offers great service. Another big plus is they're active on social media where you can see store updates and specials. We thank you for all that you do, can't wait to see other things you come up with! read more

My kids took me here yesterday for my birthday. We drove all the way from Lathrop to try this place. We ordered chicken inasal, tofu biwith nori flakes, lumpia, chicken wings, kwek kwek & fish balls. For our drinks, we ordered pina refresher, mango sago, strawberry blend, matcha latte & matcha turon. Chicken inasal was ok, not the best we've tried though, tofu bites was great, very flavorful with the sweet nori flakes added to it, lumpia I didn't get to try but, I just noticed how tiny the serving was, chicken wings I didn't get to try, kwek kwek & fish balls are just fine. I couldn't give a full review on the drinks except for what I had, which was the turon matcha. While I love the concept of incorporating turon with the matcha & the cloud like texture of the creamer, the matcha itself just didn't meet my expectations, it is missing that matcha flavor that matcha fanatics like me are looking for. One of my daughters also noticed that with her matcha latte order. Service was great though, thus the 4 stars. The owner (?) gave us turon for free as it was my birthday. Ambiance is ok, not too fancy, parking was ample. read more

Wow! The boba was sweet but not too sweet. Would recommend the kwek-kwek as this is one of the few places in the area that has this kind of Filipino street food. The children really like the lumpia, chicken wing, and tofu bite. read more

Love this place! I always buy cheese flavored fries from potato corner but I guess now I'm gonna have to get it here instead, since every piece of their fries is really coated of cheese powder. Even my fiancé ordered two drinks because he can't decide what to get, and it did not disappoint. Will definitely come back! Somewhat my fault at this point for not calling ahead of time since there seems to be a trend of inconsistency here. I haven't even gotten to try the food yet because the 3 attempts I made (driving 25 mins one way) there was always some issue. The first two times they happened to not be serving food that day and I got one of their drinks instead and it was great. However, I came for their food. Today, I decided to plan my haircut in the area thinking that the third time would be the charm. You can imagine my surprise when I arrived to see a sign on the door that they don't open until 1PM today, on short notice. I'm sure there is a good reason for all of this but the inconsistency is frustrating for me. read more

My bf and I have already gone here twice and have loved everything we've tried so far. The first time we got mango sago and the muscat grape drink, and for food we got the tocilog plate and tofu nori and the second time we just got a pandan halo halo to share. The stand puts for me were the muscat grape and the tofu- the tea was strong and they were generous with the pieces of fruit inside it. It didn't taste fake and syrupy like some boba shops in sac and was just as good as a lot of fruit teas you can get in the bay. The tofu was Soo flavorful, and everything also came out hot. read more

We originally stumbled onto 4estea a few weeks back through an Instagram reel and were happy to find that the halo halo was just as amazing as it looked on the reviewer's page. We ordered one halo halo and one mango sago and were given our items rather swiftly considering how many folks walked into the shop. The atmosphere was welcoming with inviting decor and incredibly kind staff. After living in both the Bay Area and the Central Valley, we have seen a wide array of Filipino cafés and dessert shops, both amazing and in need of improvement; after visiting 4estea, I can confidently say it is very high on the roster and we are excited to see how this shop expands in the future. read more

Planning my next visit cause it was that good! We got the matcha latte and mango sago. The matcha was earthy, nutty, and creamy. Tasted like good quality matcha. I really enjoyed it. But I think the mango sago was my favorite. It was refreshing and milky, just perfect. read more

One of the best matchas I ever have. Ambiance is cozy and comfortable. There are electrical sockets everywhere perfect for studying sesh. People are so nice and patient. We also ordered mango sago, although it's a little sweet at first gotta wait for the ice to melt a little bit. My only complaint, the size of the drink- it's pretty small. But it's also about normal for these kinds of drinks so it's to be expected. My daughter liked the macaron cookies (they are a favorite of hers). I've never been a fan of those kinds of cookies but I tried them and they were tasty. Of all the ones I've tried, they definitely make top 2. We will definitely be back.

They were creatively named (i.e. "Valentine's Gift" or "Jade Dragon" but that doesn't provide a description of the flavor). Thankfully, the staff was friendly and helpful. Customer service here was what I'd call the perfect balance: I was greeted when I walked in, and the staff was available when I had questions, but they didn't hover while I was ordering at the kiosk. I was excited to return for drinks and brought my family along. We ordered four drinks, but unfortunately, the Thai Constellation was extremely bitter and lacked any sweetness. The staff was very kind and offered to remake it, which I appreciated. However, I wasn't able to drink the second version at the restaurant because I had to return to work, and later found it just as bitter, none of us were able to finish it. I called and left a message about the experience but didn't receive a follow-up. The service was a bit slow, but the staff was kind and even gave us extra lumpia as a nice gesture for the wait. The Buko Pandan was enjoyable -- not overly sweet, with a nice crunchy texture from the coconut and jelly.
