This place is located in the KP store's food court. I just happened to see it. I probably walked by it a couple of times without even noticing. Not more than a hole in the wall, it actually has a larger menu than many boba spots. I got the Okinawa, which was satisfactory, and it came pretty quickly. The size of the cup is a little bigger than some spots, too. Nothing special, but does have its good points. Next time, I'll get the Hokkaido. read more

Me and my friends were in the KP food court area and looking for a drink spot, so decide to try out Teddy Boba because of their cute aesthetics. I'm sad to say, it was just aesthetic and not the greatest. I ordered the lychee green tea and added lychee jelly and thought the drink was very watered down. The lychee jelly added some sweetness to it, but the overall drink was definitely more watery than usual fruit teas are. I tried my friend's guava fruit tea and it was the same issue. Not sure if that means their mix contains some kind of dairy powder or if everything is just premixed. Either way, I always find it weird when tea spots say they can't do tea without milk. Makes me think things aren't fresh. I am kind of a tea purist. I like my tea without milk or sugar. Just tea and the toppings please. Tea strength extra strong if possible. (I do acknowledge there is sugar in the toppings. For some reason, that's alright. Yes, that is me logic.) The black tea here was fine. Kinda in the middle in terms of strength. The toppings were standard. Boba chewy, coffee jelly firm. I found myself wishing they had grass jelly, but I know not all spots have this topping. It's nice there's a boba option in this food court. A sweltering Friday brought us to KP for relief from the July heat. I was craving something cold but not milk tea. I've always been curious about Teddy Boba at KP (located in the food court area) and decided to finally try them out. I was drawn to the yogurt series that they offered and decided on the blueberry yogurt smoothie. I added boba to my drink as well. The yogurt smoothie only comes in a large size, which was perfect for that evening. My drink was made quickly and I was pleasantly surprised at the size and weight of my drink, which was great considering I paid around $8 for it. I took a first sip and immediately loved it. The blueberry yogurt was tangy and refreshing, and oh so thick. The blueberry flavor was prominent without being overwhelming and juxtaposed with the yogurt well. The boba were cooked perfectly and very chewy. There was also a good amount of boba at the bottom of my drink. Sometimes even if you pay for boba, you don't always get many pearls, but my drink had the perfect amount. The volume of the yogurt smoothie itself was also quite a lot and definitely filling! I can't speak for the other drinks that Teddy Boba offers, but I'd certainly be down to try their other drinks and teas next time we go to KP! read more

We ordered boba here for the first time to try it. We got the mango banana smoothie and the tiger frosty milk. The flavor and ingredients they use are good quality so you can taste it. It's delicious and we like that they blend the drinks on the thicker side. The only reason I took off a star was that the boba was a little hard and needed to be cooked a little longer. However, the drink would be much better with more strawberry and more matcha flavor. Overall, the drink was good and the price was reasonable. Service was a little slow, but it was a busy time. Located inside the KP international market food court side. We will usually get our drinks after shopping for the ride home. But you can stop by just for drinks or for lunch etc. They have a big section of seating in the food court. The only time we have seen it short on seats is during a celebration or karaoke night. They have some pretty good tea drinks. You are able to reduce your sugar levels and ice level to your liking. They have milk teas, regular tea, smoothies, shakes and blended coffee too. They do have a good amount of toppings as well, tapioca, crystal bobas, few popping boba flavors, and a few jelly flavors also. And a cheese one. If you don't know what that is, it might sound weird, but trust me, it's soooooo good. The cheesy topping is not really made of cheese. It's somewhere between a whipped cream and a pudding, and it tastes amazing on top of milk tea. While I was waiting, i watched the cashier pull a tub of cheesy cream out of a small reach-in fridge, and dollop a few spoon-fulls on top of my drink. Part of me wanted to tell him to keep going... I love chizu. I would have ordered a small, but the large was only fifty cents more, so, I figured, why not? The customer service was good. The milk tea was alright. To be real, I didn't think it was quite worth the nearly $8 I paid for it. It was good, but nothing special. Had a terrible stomach ache after drinking the drink I purchased from this location. And BEWARE there is a "service fee". I usually don't read my receipt, but somehow before I was tossing it I decided to take a look at it. I have never been to a place where they charge 2.5% service fee!! Holy smokes, is that even allowed? In California, businesses can no longer add automatic, non-disclosed service charges, due to the Consumers Legal Remedies Act (SB 478) that took effect July 1, 2024. The law prohibits hidden or "junk" fees for goods and services, requiring all mandatory fees to be included in the advertised price. While restaurants are exempt from some parts of this law and can still charge service fees, they must fully disclose these fees on their menus. read more

The matchata had a super subtle matcha taste and an overwhelming cinnamon taste (was hoping for a better flavor balance). The tiger frosty milk looked nothing like what was advertised lol (where were the brown streaks/layers?) and the cup for it wasn't fully filled. It was still a nice dessert-y drink though (I recommend getting this drink sweetness adjusted as 50% sweetness was sweet enough). Boba pearls were cooked unevenly (hard center but mushy exterior). I guess if you're really craving for boba after doing some KP shopping or after eating at the Korean BBQ restaurant that's in the same food area, then this boba shop just might do the trick for the sake of convenience. read more

They do not do 25% sweetness here. Only 50% or 75% so we did 50%. The pistachio flavor is subtle but the matcha flavor was very light. It was not enough for me. The guava lemon tea was better. We have been to KP Market a couple of times since Teddy Boba opened here but haven't stopped for a drink because we are either too full or going to get something elsewhere. Today was our chance to finally get something and it was the first time I actually looked at the menu. There were several drinks I wanted to try and was tempted to try two but I decided on one - the peach mango milk tea with pudding. I loved the flavor a lot, it was leaning more towards peach than mango but mixed well together. The pudding was good but very small pieces instead of thick chunks, which doesn't look great but does make for an easier way to drink. My only complaint was that there wasn't enough ice so it took a bit for my drink to get cold. My husband's peanut butter banana chocolate smoothie was super good - tasted just like a Reese's cup! Boba shop inside KP market! Was grocery shopping at KP and saw this shop while walking to the exit. Their shop really stood out because it was very bold and bright green! They replaced a previous boba shop which I don't remember the name. It was a Sunday afternoon so they were quite busy. They have lot of selections to choose from. Milk teas, shakes, smoothies and others. It's something for everyone pretty much. I got up to the counter and was greeted. Placed my order and was given a beeper. Matcha Oreo smoothie: with 50% sweetness. Tasted almost like matcha Kit Kat. Even with lesser sugar, it was still pretty sweet. Overall a good drink. Pina Colada smoothie: Refreshing drink. It was really liquidy but was good. Was able to taste both pineapple and coconut. Also a little too sweet for me. Service was pretty quick. Drinks took about 10 minutes. Small drinks for about $6 is kinda pricey but it's understandable as most ingredients cost more now. I would have been more satisfied if the small size is a bit bigger for that price. Since moving to Rancho Cordova, I decided to give this place a try since it's in an international market and the Thai tea is honestly one of the best teas I've ever had in my life. I always get extra Boba everywhere I go and this place unlike some are actually willing to do no ice. It is $.50 but personally, I just prefer no ice and I'm glad that they're willing to do that. The people are always so quick and if you don't wanna have a huge conversation just while you're waiting for your drink, they don't force it if you want to talk they'll talk to you and you can always look around. Your order is gonna be very very quick so after you get your boat, but you can always walk around to the other parts of the food court or go all the way through to the international market and go shopping. I've been here twice. The first time I got a hot Hokkaido Milk Tea which was pretty good and kept me warm in cold weather. My second visit I got an Iced Hokkaido Milk Tea with boba and pudding. Their smaller size is pretty small so if you get additional toppings, you're getting even less of your drink while still paying a lot for a small size. When my buzzer rang and I went to grab my drink, they handed me the wrong drink and I had to ask them for the right one. The milk tea itself was okay this time, nothing special. Their boba was really chewy and inconsistent in texture, some pieces were very soft and squishy. The pudding wasn't very sweet and tasted almost bland, you're really just eating texture at that point. After grocery shopping last week from KP, it was a good time to get a few items from the food court. While hubs went for a rice plate. I had my 12 year old order boba on his own for the very first time. My kid order two taro milk teas with boba and a house milk tea. It was his first time ordering and there is a few different flavor of milk teas. He let the cashier know he wanted just the regular milk tea in a large size. The cashier was confuse and my kid was embarrassed because he didn't know what was a house milk tea and he ordered incorrectly. Hopefully, he can improve on ordering in the future. My milk tea tasted good since it was already premade. My kids' taro on the other hand was super powdery to drink. I am not sure if the bobarista was trying to do two drinks in one shaker (which I understand, save time & washing) or he measured the ratio wrong. It was too much taro powder in the drinks. Unfortunately, the taro was not edible due to choking on the powder. Despite shaking it before drinking it didn't help much either. read more
