I was super excited about the funnel cake, and I unwrapped the box and took a picture. The funnel cake was shockingly small, and there wasn't a lot of powdered sugar and just a few strawberries. I expected a more significant portion for the $10 price. Additionally, the flavor of the batter was delicious, but the funnel cake itself was pretty greasy, though otherwise cooked well. The greasiness made it soggy and not a super tasty experience. I'd say that it was overall a 3 to a 3-1/2-star product. The extra star I'm giving is for the excellent service. They are probably a new business working out the kinks and need more feedback and guidance to step it up to a headling product. I also think their menu was a bit extensive and varied, which may make it challenging to prepare orders promptly. With some refinement, this could be a great spot. It doesn't do much in the ambiance as it is an outdoor tent adjacent to a barbershop in the Roses parking lot on the Plaza, but I don't think that's what people come here for.
