I asked if the jerk chicken was spicy, and he explained that he purposely doesn't make the chicken itself spicy because not everyone enjoys heat. Instead, he lets customers choose between a mild or spicy sauce. I appreciated that because it gives everyone options and the sauce is yummy. He told me my order would take about 10 minutes, and it was definitely worth the wait. Everything tasted fresh and was piping hot when I got it. The jerk chicken was flavorful, juicy, and reminded me of the authentic jerk chicken I've had in Kingston, Jamaica. The cabbage was delicious too--honestly, every bite was good. I also noticed the grills set up behind the food truck, which made me feel like they were preparing the jerk chicken the traditional way. You can tell they care about the quality of the food. If you're looking for authentic Caribbean flavors and great customer service, I highly recommend giving this place a try. I'll definitely be back. Five stars!

They both had a wonderful smokiness to and were fresh off the smoker. He literally made them to order from when i ordered earlier that day by text message to when i picked them up a few hours later. There are only two high counter tables with tall chairs, so dining in isn't really an option. I ordered the Turkey Swiss Melt with fries and asked for a soda, but they only had lemonade or water. I was told it will take 15 minutes to make my lunch, I was the lone customer here. The Turkey Swiss Melt was delicious, but extremely messy--definitely not ideal to eat in the car. The fries were seasoned with black pepper before serving, and they don't offer salt. The lemonade was overly sweet, way too much sugar. They packed everything in a bag and handed it to me without asking whether I wanted dine-in or carry-out. Honestly, from the look and feel of the place, dining in would've been uncomfortable anyway.

We've seen it from Columbia to Finksburg MD! This time we found them at an event in Savage Park in Savage MD, (Jun 2026), in a cluster of trucks gathered in a corner of the parking lot next to one of the fields in a little league tournament. We already had hot dogs before we saw the DMV truck, and we had no regrets, but also no room for more. But we love love these birria tacos. Tender, juicy, flavorful, with lots of consommé on the side for dunking. We got some to take home, and they reheated really well, losing none of the flavors or aromas, just losing some of the crispiness of the taco shell. They were a glorious mess! We got an order of flavorful shrimp tacos, too. Scrumptious! Generous! They had birria, chicken, shrimp, or veggie tacos or quesadillas or burritos or rice-bowls, loaded fries, even a birria grilled cheese, birria empanadas, or a birria or combo hoagie! The folks at the counter seemed busy, but they got to me after a minute to get me my food. Food - despite the name, this is not what I would call a barbecue takeout place. It is a Pakistani restaurant that is meat-forward, but not exclusively meat dishes. We went for the Mixed BBQ, which had plenty of meat for at least two hungry people, but my wife and two of our children had plenty for dinner one night and lunch the next day. The kebab was nicely spiced ground meat and it was decent on its own but also nice with a spicy green sauce. The chicken tikka was solid. There were also some heavily spiced ground beef patties. Child #1 is vegetarian and got a Lahori Chana and a Palak Paneer. The Chana was pretty standard, nicely spiced chickpeas. The palak paneer was solid with a nice blend of warm spices, but I wouldn't call it spicy. We also tried out an order of Chicken Tikka Masala. It wasn't as bright or creamy as I've gotten at other Indian or Pakistani places. It was still tasty though. A variety of breads to mop it all up, and it was a solid meal.
