Excellent breakfast! I can't wait to try the Backhendl Salad for lunch sometime. I'd describe the place as cozy, quaint, comfy, and welcoming. The chef is from Austria and his wife is from Athens, Tx. They have casseroles for $15 -- I bought and tried the Chicken Spaghetti, and it's top notch comfort food. I'm originally from East Texas but now live in Fort Worth. When I go back to visit family, I have my favorite restaurants that I always make a point to return to. 4 Way Cafe is now one of those spots! read more

This little cafe was very delicious. Food was amazing. Plentiful I must say. If you have an appetite, this is definitely the place to take it to. What a great gem! It's super cute inside & out. It is also very crisp and clean inside with a comfortable temperture. The service is so friendly like a movie down South or something. The menu is super simple. I had the chorizo burrito with homemade salsa and it was fantastic! I also had a side of grits without butter or sweetener and they were great. I left quite a bit of my food behind- not becuase it wasn't good, but the portion was pretty hefty. They had pumpkin pancakes, chocolate pie and strudel which are probably all pretty good. They have call ahead take out service which includes chicken spaghetti, salisbury steak, Monterrry chicken and the list goes on. Wow! Just. Wow! I am out here this weekend for a retreat in Pine Cove. I'm a morning person, so I was up early looking for a local breakfast place. I was frankly surprised to find a place on Yelp with more than four reviews AND five stars. It doth intrigue me. I came in early, just me and one other table. The menu is a one page item, so you aren't going to be looking through a book of menu options. I went for the Western Bowl and coffee. Here's how they earned at least three stars. When I ask for coffee I always warn the wait staff of two things. I drink A LOT of coffee, and I like an extra cup or two after I've finished my meal. With that said, the wait staff here made sure my cup never went dry, and they kept refilling it after I had finished my meal. That was awesome. Now, to the food... The Western Bowl is shaved ribeye steak, hash browns, peppers, cheese, a little gravy and a little salsa. Throw two eggs any way you want on top, and you've got a Western Bowl. With something like this, sometimes you see too much gravy, and it turns into more of a breakfast stew bowl. This was not the case. It was an awesome balance and blend of flavors. Fantastic. I see how these guys have kept 5 stars. I've been here about 90 minutes, I still have a cup full of coffee, and now the place is filling up. I'm gonna leave now, but man am I gonna miss this place. I might just have to come back tomorrow! read more
