I've been bringing my fur baby to 4 Legged Friends since I got him during the pandemic. I can't believe he's almost 5 years old now. Dr. Kudman and his team is just awesome. The front desk is the sweetest and the veterinary assistants are all very friendly. Dr. Kudman very honest with the charges to ensure there aren't any surprise charges. Also he doesn't pressure you do any procedures that may not be necessary. As a first time fur mommy, I was very worried when my little Tof first kept sneezing as a baby (not a common cold). Dr. Kudman gave a few possible reason of it and what are possible options if in continues. And funny thing is Dr. Kudman is actually allergic to cats but still showed great care to our little Tof. They do grooming and other services. read more

4 Legged Friends has kind staff that shows they care. When my dog had some mysterious pain, they managed to fit us in and handled everything calmly and professionally. Prices are fair, and they answer your questions thoroughly. Staff overall seems knowledgeable. They can get pretty busy, so wait times vary and can be long without an appointment. I also noticed they offer grooming services, though I haven't tried that yet. Definitely call ahead, but it's a solid place. read more

I can't even begin to express how much comfort and security I feel when I bring my dog here! I know there are tons of reviews already, but I just had to share my experience with anyone searching for a vet. I've had the best care with my dog here, and I'm so sorry I didn't bring my previous pets. It all started with the office manager Debbie, who was so kind and warm on the phone. She had already set the tone! The staff was amazing, and Dr. Kudman was truly one of the best I've ever seen. He was thorough, professional, and incredibly kind--he's a gem! I'd be happy to recommend him to anyone looking for a great vet to take care of their furry friends. My Valentina and I are so lucky to have found them! read more

When I moved, I found 4 legged friends and Dr. Kudman. Dr. Kudman is super patient, friendly and great with the animals. I've visited him multiple times and every visit he eases my worries. The assistances are also super nice and you can tell they all love animals. There are 2 offices, one on kings highway and one on bath avenue. The one on bath avenue looks a bit nicer and bigger, they also have a grooming service. read more

A year later and I still stand by my initial review! My dog has been dealing with some ear issues and I have been freaking out like crazy (I just over panic with anything that has to do with my beautiful pitty). Dr. Kudman has been so patient with me and was able to squeeze us in for an appointment right away. He took care of my dog, treated her ear and offered to try less invasive procedures first... before dragging her into surgery. The staff is great! Everyone is so sweet! If you are feeding your dog raw- talk to Patrick! He is a great help and he is very nice! Thank you to Dr.Kudman and his staff! Dont believe all the negative things people write. There are two sides to every story! read more

Will Kudman a.k.a the Doc... Best vet I've ever been to. I have 3 dogs and 15 years experience looking for the right vet, I know what is out there. This guy treats your pets like his own. He works with you, and your pups- scheduling, financially, explains everything and does what is right for the animal. The staff is awesome. Kind, helpful and caring. He saved one of my dogs life, he could have banged me out $$$ for anything at that moment and didn't. He walked me through getting her the emergency care she needed and at a reasonable rate. That same dog he did another minor (kind of major, by her eye) surgery on. Again, other Vets would've charged me double, if not more. He gave her exceptional care even working at a reduced rate. He works with you, because he cares for the animals (patients) in his practice. I can't thank him or his staff enough. Stay cool Doc, you deserve all the stars. read more

I'm infuriated. i guess first time experience aint all that. I'm so shocked. I got a new puppy and i needed him to be seen. However, day of the appointment, I was worried that I'd be late and couldn't make it because something came up, I called to ask to reschedule. But Lenor or Lenora who answered the phone cut me off mid sentence after I said "i dont think i could make it today" and said ok thank you bye and hung up the phone immediately. I wasn't even finished speaking.. i called them back and said hey i just called u guys can i reschedule for tomorrow. She said no next available appointment is next week. That was too long for me so i said okay ill try to make it today then. And she straight up said "no u cant. I already cancelled your appointment and gave it to someone else." I was like what? I didn't even cancel yet i wasn't even finished speaking and you hung up on me". She said "we are swamped. Once you cancel your appointment its given to someone else" BUT LENOR, I DIDN't EVEN CANCEL YET. You cut me off and hung up on me. You cancelled it without my permission. And she didn't offer to squeeze me in for another appointment today after her mistake. Just when I thought I found a vet I liked too :( read more

This place is great if you can ACTUALLY make an appointment and be able to be seen at the earliest convenience. Most of my friends own dogs, and they have been RAVING about this clinic, so I am thinking about switching vet, after just sending them a message, I got a polite & PROMPT respond from their staff, William K. so my positivity about this clinic is HYPED up. Took my mom's cat for a little injury in her paw. Everyone was lovely, the problem was explained and everything went swimmingly. I might have wanted a lower price but compared to others, it's pretty much the best I could have found! Recommend fo' sure (this is my first review, no less) read more

This was probably one of the most awkward and uncomfortable bait and switch situations I have ever experienced. I had "free" follow up for my puppy which was still experiencing same symptoms. To my dismay I was up sold on an x ray and blood work which I was originally told one price then charged something different. When I asked the receptionist about it she hesitated and said the doctor had quoted the price ...I asked to bring the doctor back out to discuss the discrepancy in price. She reluctantly removed part of the up sell. The new management has lost focus on the clients and pets, it has become about the almighty $ Rip Dr. Robinson read more

Incredible veterinarian. You can tell he truly loves animals by how he handles them. My dog was so happy and comfortable around him every visit. I haven't seen him since I moved to Manhattan, but planning on coming back to him really soon. I love him and recommend him to anyone. Moreover, he saved my dog's life when another vet made a grave mistake and didn't want to own up to it. read more

4 Legged Friends - Richard - Veterinarians Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

4 legged friends is one of the best vets out there. His vet techs, office staff, and Dr. Kudman truly care about you and your pet! Any time I've had an emergency come up, they've really try to find a time to have your check in. I highly recommend coming here so much that I almost didn't want to write this so they don't become busier . read more

I was recommended by a close friend to try this vet out when I got my puppy. Everything started off good but recently the service had been lacking. The older lady that works up front is very rude even when answering the phone. In addition, they open and close whenever they feel like it so their hours online doesn't even matter. On top of that, their prices are INSANELY high. A stool sample came out to $55 which cost more than certain vaccines. I don't know if they switched management or not but they're more money hunger than caring about my pet. read more

I had a terrible experience with our previous animal clinic. I am so glad we found this place. Dr Kudman is a very loving, and helpful doctor. I explained to him about my dog's current situation and my dog needs special cleaning every two to three weeks due to a failed surgery at a horrendous animal clinic. He understands and did not hesitate to help. He even explained to us that he was willing to teach us do the procedure at home instead of traveling to have him do it. From this, I see that he is not really doing it for the money, but to help pets as well as help pet owners save! We have two dogs and one cat. I am looking forward to have him as our primary doctor for our pets. We hope our experience with him and the staff will be as wonderful as it was the first time! Thanks dr Kudman! Will definitely recommend to others! read more

First time coming here today with my dog, Mochi and had a fantastic experience. Staff were all so kind and friendly! Must say that Dr. Kudman is a very genuine, patient, caring, and pet-loving doctor. In comparison to various animal clinics I've been to, Dr. Kudman has a great sense of humor and truly cares about the wellbeing of your pet. Will definitely continue to come here if my dog has any issues. read more

Dr Kudman is knowledgeable and compassionate. A friend recommended him about 2 years ago, and I have used him about 5 times since. I will only go to him now, that's how much I like him. He will not run any tests that are not necessary. He explains everything and the prices and the option is up to you. He didn't even charge me for my last visit being my cat was there 3 weeks prior, but took the time to explain my cat's condition and concerns. I highly recommend Dr Kudman. His staff is very nice too. Thank you Dr Kudman for being such a great Vet. read more

This is probably one of the best experience I had in a new place . I called because my dog was very sick and as a first time dog owner I didn't know what to do . I came in and was welcomed in by Sarah which is funny because we share the same name. She was very lovely then I meant the doctor! He was honestly everything I imagine a vet to be and more . He not only made jokes and made me laugh which kind of made me relax. He was very expressive hands on and made me feel like no question was silly to ask. They simply had my trust when it came down to my Zoey. I am very happy and will continue to come to this location. My dog is feeling 100 percent better and I'm feeling more confident as a dog owner . Thank you guys so much !!! read more

Dr. Kudman was amazing! I have a 16.5 year old chihuahua princess that has been having stomach pain along other things. Dr. Kudman was so kind and gentle with her, I have never seen my princess so calm with a vet before. Dr. Kudman was efficient, respectful to me and my princess and kept it real. He did not try to start a list of tests ( like other vet's ) that I know will not do much other than put a hole in my pocket. His prices are fair, his honest, humble with great attitude and service. I came all the way from the other side of Brooklyn, I saw reviews and I'm so happy I did, every review is true! From now on this is my vet !! read more

I have never left a review before but for this place I really have to go out of my way to post something positive after they saved my dogs life. My dog was severely sick from heart failure and after going to several different vets know one was able to help me but only take my money. And than recommend the ER . I randomly came across this vet and figured I would give it a try since know one else was helping me with my urgent issue and the hospital was way out of my budget. Thank god for this place they took me in right away, made me feel like I wasn't crazy, and even the vet just kept checking in on me and my dog Toots to make sure she was doing ok. He actually cared! I didn't even spend half of what I spent and right away they were able to figure out her diagnosis. Thank god for this place for saving my dog! read more
