*Dr. Irons came across as very cold human being*This heartbreaking review paints a disturbing picture of a deeply insensitive and callous veterinary provider, Dr. Jamel Irons, who completely failed to demonstrate any compassion or empathy during an impossibly difficult moment.
And it is a warning to steer clear of this provider and find a veterinarian who will treat both his beloved one and they parent with the genuine care and respect during such a devastating time.
Rather than offering the gentle, caring support one would expect when having to make the most painful decision of they lives to say goodbye to a beloved love one that for me was my daughter, this provider came across as cold, rushed, and entirely focused only in efficiency and to rush to finish the business.
I was in pure agony of having to end my baby life. She didn't even took the time to examine her. Dr. Irons seemed to view this as just another routine for another number in her day.
No one should ever have to endure such a callous, impersonal experience when facing the most difficult decision of their lives.
Dr. Irons appears to lack the basic human decency and empathy required to provide end-of-life services.
Here is the experience:
She got into my place in the moment I had to hire someone to end my baby's life, otherwise she would die a horrible death , she was a real daughter, I explained what she had, and she did not care to make sure if I was right and if was the right recommendation to end her life, she just look from far where she was under the table hide in the dark, when I asked after to her later she said " I trusted you"
Than when was all blurry, I asked her how much time I had with her to say good bye, she look to her watch again as when she got there she was already looking, and said "umm 3 minutes" I said "Please I need to at least few more minutes to say good bye to her, she is my daughter my everything" she said "you book a service and is half hour and is already 9:14 am and you booked it for 9 am.
I said 3 minutes is too little she said "I come here to do the job you should have said good bye to your pet before I get here"
I said I was saying good bye for the last few days but I need it in her last moment few more minutes with her before her heart stop beating, I would never see her again
She said "I cant go.. go ..I'm preparing the injections so you wasting time , it was all blurry in that moment that she said I had 3 minutes unfortunately I didn't say please take the money and leave, I was also afraid she would die a horrible death before I found other provider, so I was left with not choice.
I went to get my baby in my arms where she was trusting me when I was bringing her to die I barely was in the room where I put her in my bed where she used to sleep near to me, where I preparing to say good bye to her, Dr Irons came and immediately came and inject her with the sedative, she scream because the injection and immediately pass out, I got her in my arms again to look to her little face and talk to her, she wasn't conscious anymore, all I wanted was to look deep one last time into her sweet eyes and say how sorry I was for take her life and how much I love her and never wanted to do that to her"
I put her back in bed already unconscious, after very few minutes Dr. Irons came back and injected her final injection and explained when she would stop breathing, soon she inject short
after I see my baby stop breathing most horrible scene anyone can see happening in they lives.
The amount of guilty that I already had became even worse I never said what I wanted to her and never will anymore.
This is an absolute horrible experience, No one should ever have to endure such a callous, impersonal experience when facing the most difficult decision of their lives.
For Dr. Irons came across as very cold human being, she treated the all experience as just one more number of her day. And to finish not even minute over her very practical business transaction.
