It was okay. Decent flavor in the brisket that could compete with the big dogs. Unfortunately the meat was very dry even going with moist. Mac and cheese was great. Jalepeno cheese sausage tasted weird and was fully loaded with grease. BBQ sauce was leaning towards more vinegary and tasted horrible to my wife and I. Ended up with a tummy ache because of the grease. I eat A LOT of greasy food so me downing Pepto afterwards will probably be my sign to not go back. Not sure why this is my first time trying their "delicious, moist, tender brisket", but it won't be my last. I really have enjoyed CorkScrew bbq in old town spring but 3rd coast is just as good or maybe even better. There is a lot of potential with this bbq joint. The owner knows how to smoke his meats. There is another soon to be Uber famous bbq in the spring/ woodlands area. This place was great bbq friendly staff the whole bit. The brisket has a great pepper bark very moist and tender even the lean brisket. The potato salad was excellent up there with the best I've had. I have a feeling they are going to outgrow their space soon, and that is a good thing. read more

Excellent trip to a family run BBQ spot while visiting the Spring TX area. The owners were very helpful and gracious. Ordered a little bit of everything and really enjoyed the pork belly burnt ends. 3rd Coast BBQ and Catering. We ate at 3rd Coast BBQ and Catering mid afternoon last week and had some of the best bbq we have ever eaten. First, we ordered too much food as it is a little different bbq concept. You can get the meat on top of a giant pretzel with dipping sauces which is in itself delicious. We were first timers so we ordered 2 of those plates. The owner came to our table after we had paid and explained to us that was probably more food than we could eat and asked if we were ordering to take home. We told him no, so he gave us credit for one of the plates and then served up perfect amount of food. I ordered a side of collard greens which were tender and perfectly seasoned. We had brisket, pulled pork and turkey, all 3 meats were tender and flavorful. We usually do carry out, but the outdoor tables were well spaced and it was a slow time of day so we actually ate on site. Soooo good! We ordered brisket, pulled pork, Mac and cheese, beans, potato salad, and all the condiments. The brisket needed no utensils. It just fell apart so wonderfully. Great bark on both meats. I liked the white bbq sauce a lot! It was a little spicy but that slow burn spicy. My husband perfected the traditional bbq sauce. I didn't like that one as much. The macaroni and cheese was to die for. We ordered using their online system and set pick up for 1:30. They said they would text when it was ready. We never did get the text but the order was ready at 1:30. Maybe a glitch in the system. Overall the food was incredible. I'd give this place a thousand stars if I could! read more

This place is amazing. Everything we ordered was excellent - the pulled pork melts in your mouth, the turkey was moist & smoked to perfection, the moist brisket paired perfectly with the bun & slaw. Went on a Thursday afternoon. Got the twisted tray with brisket and turkey. Brisket was fantastic (excellent bark and good mix of moist and dry), turkey wasn't great (didn't prefer their rub and not very moist), and the pretzel tasted good but was quite dry. The ribs just about fell off the bone, the brisket was tender and wonderfully seasoned. The sausage is a course grind with great flavor as well. My family and I have done the 50 best BBQ places in Texas and would absolutely love to see this place on the list. We personally feel that this is number one in Houston for BBQ. Reviews are new to me but I thought I should share the good news that 3rd Coast BBQ not only has the absolute best BBQ in Texas, the family that owns and runs the place are just as awesome as the food! From the moist and tender Prime Brisket to the "To die for" smoked Turkey as well as the Pulled Pork it is hard to make a choice so I get all three and have left overs through the week when they aren't open! Did I mention that the "Pit Master" Troy makes his own Boudain and Sausage. I can't leave out the Smoked Pinto Beans which are the best ever or the Chipotle slaw, Mac-n-cheese, Potato salad. It is definitely "Heaven on Earth" for BBQ lovers. They are open Thursday through Sunday and don't go late like I did Saturday as they sell out of many items before closing time. We read the great reviews and decided to give it a try. We tried the brisket sandwiches and some ribs plus potato salad and elotes. The ribs were a big hit. Tender and meaty. All who had the sandwiches felt that the meat was too salty. Same with the elotes. Both were good, just way saltier then our preference.
