The 2 stars is only because of the large selection of products they carry. Now as far as customer service goes, or standing behind the products they sell, I would rate them a negative amount of stars. They apparently have a "store policy" of no refunds, returns, or exchanges if it isn't done the same day as the purchase is made. On one occasion I purchased a disposable all in one vape pen. I purchased 3 that day and waited 2 days before opening one of the pens. When I took it out of the box it was covered in vape juice and the pen itself was totally fried and did not work whatsoever. Thinking I could exchange it since it was clearly a defective product, I go back in to the store. They told me that all issues must be handled by the manufacturer directly and that they do not offer returns or exchanges for any vape disposal pens. Mind you, this was a $25 vape. I would've gotten more use out of my money giving it away to a homeless person! But nevertheless, I let it slide and accepted their answer. I suppose someone could have taken it home, used it and then dropped it causing the vape to end up in similar condition to the one I purchased. So I decided to just take the L on this one. Fast forward a few weeks, and I go in to the store and have a mini shopping spree for myself. I spent over $150 that day and one of the items I purchased was a cart battery by "ooze". Again, a $25 item. I get home and excitedly go through all my cool new stuff I bought. Not even a week goes by and I open the ooze battery to try it out. I plugged it into the charger that comes with it and almost immediately the light turns green, indicating the battery is fully charged. I unplug it and press the button 5 times to turn it on and nothing happens. I mess around with it for about 10 mins before realizing I definitely got a dud. I think to myself, "no biggie, I still have all the packaging right here and it's very obvious this item has not been used at all. I'll just take it in and explain what happened and swap it out for a new one"... if only it were that easy. I get into the store and there's a guy working and a chick sitting in a chair behind the counter who I suppose was supposed to be considered working too. I tell them the situation and they immediately tell me the manager is very strict about no refunds, especially since I didn't bring it back the same day I bought it. I explained that I purchased a LOT of things that day and it took me a few days to go through everything. After being shot down again, I ask for a manager or corporate level number if there is one. Right after asking this the chick says to me " there's signs everywhere. We would have to take a loss if we took back items like this so we don't offer refunds" with a nasty attitude while making an ugly face at me, as if I was stupid. I looked at her and said "actually, there are no signs whatsoever that say y'all don't EXCHANGE defective products, not to mention OF COURSE YALL WOULD TAKE THE LOSS. Why the f*ck should I have to lose my money for a product that YALL decided to sell without testing first and refuse to stand behind?? It's an idiotic argument she was trying to make but finally the guy who was working seemed to get my point and said "fine, I'll exchange it this one time and show you this one works. But Once you leave here with it, that's it." Okay?!! Duh. That's all I wanted this whole time. Then he hands me a battery that yes, does work, although he won't give me the box or any packaging for it. Not the instruction card, nothing. No proof of purchase card that comes in the box either. There is clearly no customer service training done by management here and the business practices this company "runs" on are more like scams than business practices. This is only 2 out of multiple issues I've had with products they sell in the past, but these are the most recent so I figured they would be the most relevant. Safe to say, I have learned my lesson. I won't be leaving the store with anything before having an associate show me the product is not defective first. I suggest you do the same, or shop elsewhere. (If it weren't across the street from my house I would've already made my final purchase there months ago!) read more
