So walking in for the first time, i was kinda overwhelmed with older gentlemen hanging around watching sports, while walking through the door, i was at a loss because i was literally half of all there ages and i was welcomed with the stare of death in there eyes, wasn't going to stop me from going in though. I really need to get the staff names because both have been extremely helpful so far, very informative about makes of cigars i would like as well as ones that are best sellers, i was never given cigar price, but both gentelment gave me the ability to taste them without even lighting one of them up or removing the wrapper. and would you believe it, the cigars i purchased have been amazing.. Also 3 days ago i purchased a complete vapor kit and was given the best options for upgrades, well while at work next day i had dropped it on the road and cracked the glass that holds the oil, went back in there during my lunch break and the guy who sold it to me was extremely helpful at getting the pieces apart so i wouldn't be out another 37 dollars, but i went ahead and purchased another one anyway, my mistake on dropping it, but the immediate assistance i received, i didn't mind spending the extra 37 dollars for a new one. Very pleased with the cigar shop, as stated in the above comments others have left, this group of gentlemen are not pushy on buying cigars, they are there to help you pick best options and let you kick back and relax. Friendly, non-pushy employees that are knowledgable about the cigar you want. Prices are right and the environment inside is nice as well. A really good addition to the already great lounge is that it is BYOB (bring your own bottle) so you can drink and smoke with friends. Downside is the place is a little small. read more

I went to this place to purchase a cigar for my boyfriend at the time who was going to Vegas that weekend. I was surprised when I walked in. A few older gentleman posted on a couch watching sports smoking cigars. Someone helped me right away. Very nice guy who provided a few suggestions on what would taste the best, not necessarily what was most expensive. I picked one that had some pretty packaging and of course I don't remember the name of. Well, apparently my boyfriend was the talk of the town when he went because it was so he says, the best one at the party. He seemed happy and that's all that matters. I made this my go to shop for cigarettes until today, there were a TOTAL of 5 people in the shop I waited while a tall goofy Dude hung out in the cigar room just ignoring me and after patiently waiting he asked me, the girl, to step aside for some Dude, it was really rude and hateful. Nice shop with good selection of cigars. The staff is very knowlegeable and helpful. the lounge portion has seating for about 10 people plus a large table with seating for about 5 more. BYOB is ok with the staff so feel free to bring in your own beer or whiskey. they had about 4 TV's in the lounge area so you can put on your favorite team's game. nice place to relax with a stogie. read more

I am not really sure why anyone would give this place a bad review. I have been going to this place for several years and have always received great service. The first time I went there I was with a friend who was a cigar smoker and asked me to come along. I was so impressed by the service and friendliness that I decided to try a cigar. Well, I became a cigar smoker. The owner of this place is always friendly and always takes the time to answer any questions you may have. I have tried other cigar shops and they are not always as welcoming to new cigar smokers. Dallas Cigars may not be the most high end shop in Dallas but they definitely know their stuff. I would rather smoke a cigar at a place where I feel comfortable then some high end snob shop where everyone thinks they are cigar experts. When I go to a cigar shop I am there for cigars not to critique every thing about the place. If you are a cigar smoker that cares more about the customer service and atmosphere than the uppity atmosphere, then this is the place for you, Plus their prices are among the best in town!! read more
