This is a cool place to come and relax while enjoying a cigar, negative is you have to purchase one if their cigars before you can smoke, i was told to put my cigar away that i bright to smoke despite purchasing though so beware of that. Their humidor is ok but the cigar i purchased didn't have that natural give that I'm accustomed too from a cigar in a proper humidor. It is byob so that's a plus and they are right next door to a bar for easy ages to beer or drinks that you can bring over. Cost for cigars aren't bad at all and their team is knowledgeable for recommendations.

I'm visiting my son in Dallas and he and his girlfriend took me to the Bishop Arts district for drinks after dinner knowing I'd love to pop into Cigar Art while we were there. As soon as I walked into the shop, I knew this was going to be a great place. The lounge is well-appointed with nice, comfortable chairs. The high ceilings ensure that smoke doesn't linger and cloud the place up. The vibe is traditional without being snobby. My kind of place! As far as the humidor is concerned, while they don't have a huge selection, what they do have is a well-curated selection of premium, hand-rolled cigars, some of which are great boutique brands that aren't that easy to come by such as Black Works Studio and an increasingly popular brand from Dallas called Definition. I love the fact that I only saw one ACID box, and it was kind of hidden on a lower shelf in the corner. :) They have cigars from big marcas such as Oliva and Placensia, but even with those, they seem to have decided to carry the higher-end sticks. I love that! They also have a line of house sticks that I found out from a patron are excellent. I'll have to grab a couple next time I'm there! As for my own selections, after a brief conversation with the owner on what I like to smoke, he directed me to the row of Definition cigars, of which I purchased one of each "The Chairman" and "The Equalizer." And Cigar Art is the only authorized retailer of Definition Cigars in downtown Dallas, so if you want to get a Definition Cigar and you're in the downtown area, Cigar Art is your place to go! I will be returning in the next couple of days to get a few more Definitions! Moreover, I want to sit and enjoy another great smoke in a super-cool lounge! As with most lounges, it isn't BYOC. You have to buy a stick there. For me, that is not a problem. I go to lounges to smoke sticks I don't have or have never tried. It is, however, BYOB, and I saw that a few patrons brought their own wine to drink. Next time I go, I will bring some bourbon or scotch. They have glassware there as well! If you're in Dallas and are a BOTL or SOTL, you won't be disappointed with this place!

Great help for a cigar gift! My brother stared at me when he opened the cigars and couldn't believe I got what I did. I def got the help from the owner/manager so commends told him for hooking me up with some good stuff.

I have been here many times and taken out the time so say YES YES YES!!! Yes for the atmosphere. Yes to coziness. Yes to being a women #SoftCigarSnob I came alone and was asking for flavored cigar and the beautiful black lady was happy to show many varieties and brands. The first I smoke there and was not disappointed. ‍ I can't wait to get try the other two at home in the backyard by the pool.

I was recently in Downtown Dallas staying at a hotel and decided I wanted to have a cigar for later in the evening. After a quick Google search, I found this place was close so I headed over. Unfortunately it's right in the heart of Bishop Arts district, do parking is a challenge. It's a dark, chill smoking lounge that only had a couple of guys on a Sunday afternoon when I arrived. Upon entering the cigar shop the guy working told another patron that he was smoking a house cigar. I always like to try house cigars when I can, so I didn't even need to look at what all they carried. I grabbed a house stick, a few strands of wood strips to use for lighting and checked out. The gentleman rang me up, put my stuff in a bag along with a pack of matches which was a big help. Later that evening I enjoyed that cigar. It burned really well, held together nicely and had a good flavor profile. I would definitely recommend stopping here and grabbing a house stick.

Great place to enjoy coffee and a stick on a saturday. I also like going during the week. The owner is laid back and very knowledgable about the cigars. You won't be disappointed.

Cool location and a very large selection of cigars. The atmosphere and vibe was pretty chill. Not too into cigars but 99% of the customers here are men and being a married man I find this a cool hangout spot to go out with the guys. They have a few flat screens with games playing and it's byob. There's also a waitress that's gets you anything from ice to making runs to the store to buy you beer so tip her or him well.

To preface this review, I do not smoke cigars, but my husband does. We came here on Saturday with my family and my dad bought a few cigars for my husband and brother-in-law to smoke with him. When we walked into the store, I was surprised at how cool the layout was. There were couches and places to sit and work while smoking cigars. People were spread out throughout the store and it was very smoky (which I hated and my husband loved). We all entered the cigar room to peruse the selection and the manager, or owner, walked in and asked if we needed help. My dad explained that we were just looking. He kept standing in the doorway watching us like he thought we were going to steal something, which was really weird. My dad ended up purchasing three cigars and my brother-in-law purchased a few others. For the price and experience, this is a cool store and definitely worth a look. I would have given them four or five stars if it weren't for the creepy manager.

This is truly the BEST place to come for a great cigar, conversation, wonderful people and the ownership is top notch. Everything about this place speaks of a home away from home. I felt right at home automatically. I knew after leaving I could see myself coming here everyday for the people and the cigars. It kinda reminded me of Cheer's (the show) cause they have that vibe wheee everyone knew each other and they welcomed you to join as if you were a lost distance friend. So when you come ..come ready for a great time, great fun conversation and some truly amazing people. I LOVE this place. I can't imagine there being a better place and I've been to a lot of great cigar lounges.

Okay I debated on one star but gave it two because the lady selling the cigars was very nice. If you are familiar with the area you know where to park if you are not familiar with the area parking is a challenge. The establishment is small as you can see in the pics. There is a bar, unfortunately did not stay long enough to find out what it serves. I planned on visiting having a stick and enjoy the facility but that changed. The humidor has limited options; however, I did pick out a couple of sticks as well as had my own. When I went to pay for the sticks I was told that you can only smoke the cigars purchased there in the store. I was like you are joking right. I have never been to a cigar store where you only can smoke their cigars! If the lady was not so nice I would have left the cigars and walked. Instead I did purchase the cigars and decided to let the keyboard do the work for me, by leaving my thoughts in a review. So if you don't have a cigar and not big on options this is a place to visit if you are in the area. Would I recommend or visit again, No. I travel the world and have been in many cigar shops. This is the first where you cannot smoke a cigar that was not purchased there. I find that tacky and low class. I did see lockers so I guess you can only store cigars that are purchased there in the lockers! My recommendation to the owner is to either increase the diversity of cigar offerings significantly or let patrons smoke cigars they like, particularly if they are buying cigars in your store!!

That said, the weather does not always allow for that to happen which means I have to head indoors. While I have visited a few lounges in the DFW, none of them felt like a place I could call home. That all changed when I visited Blue Smoke. My initial visit was to attend an event that featured the 'toy-maker' himself...Carlito Fuente Jr. (chairman and visionary of Arturo Fuente Cigars). As to be expected, the place was packed as many showed up to smoke with Carlito plus to take advantage of the numerous Fuente cigars that were available for the event. Even though it was crowded, I was able sense the vibe of Blue Smoke and vowed to return on a non-event day. My return visit occurred one week later, and Blue Smoke did not disappoint. They have a couple of humidors which are well-stocked with a great selection of cigars. As for the lounge area, there is an area upfront that includes comfortable seating along with a TV which is usually showing a sporting event. Go beyond the front area, and there is an even larger lounge area that contains more comfortable seating, a couple of more TVs, plus an area with ice, glasses etc. On my return visit, it felt so comfortable that I purchased a membership which includes a humidor locker. Additionally, the membership includes $40 of complimentary cigars per month which the staff adds to the lockers at the beginning of each month. As the staff decides what will be added, this makes for a nice monthly surprise. As for the staff, Jay (the owner) and the team are amazing!!! In addition to being friendly and welcoming, they know their humidor and can make some awesome recommendations (if needed). Lastly, Blue Smoke is BYOB.
