I was a few doors down at Old Hag's Pizza picking up an order so I could shut in for the weekend. I arrived to find a work crew deep into some type of sidewalk project between VaporScape & Old Hag's....in the nasty rainy gray. The owner of VaporScape was in Old Hag's ordering pizza for the work crew that had been at it all afternoon, in the rain, without a break. Human Being Thumbs Up! A lady & her little girl were also in Old Hag's. The little girl needed to use the restroom. The mother asked if Old Hag's had a restroom. They said No & pointed to a sign that read No Public Restrooms. (C'mon. It's a little girl) The owner of VaporScape wasn't having it. He let the lady know he owned the business on the corner & she could follow him down and use their restroom. Human Being Double Thumbs Up!! As I left with my food, I checked out VaporScape from outside. CLEAN and a ton of selections well-presented with an apothecary feel. I am huge on choosing small businesses with which I vibe. They don't have to be everyone's favorite, but they must be human beings with the character attributes of the owner if VaporScape.

They don't have the raw cone roller machine, the papers are about twice what everyone else is charging. The least expensive grinders they have are plastic and $34, they aren't all that helpful to customers and the staff is mostly chatting with one another and staring at their phones or posing for selfies. It seems more like some people hanging out at their house who occasionally will sell something to a customer. I'm sure they make tons of money but there are so many better shops in town. So they were not able to cash me out. The The employee explained that this happened quite often and wrote me an IOU. I attempted to cash the IOU several times with no luck due to the manager not being there. When I presented it tonight, the man behind the counter, who I think goes by Black rudely told me that the employee who wrote the note hadn't worked their in months. As if that means anything! And then very aggressively told me I needed to get out. I explained how even if he wasn't able to cash it I was planning on buying some things. He even more threatening said "get out now." This punk is truly an embarrassment to the company. I will never buy anything from him and I will tell my friends about him.
