This place has great service. I walked in and Bob asked me what I like and he mixed up some of if not the best pipe tobacco I have ever smoked. Very smooth complex flavor. I don't know how he did it!! read more

This is a great place to stop in Cedar Hill. You get all the benefits of Small Town, USA with a metropolitan vibe. Do not let the curb appeal fool you... from the moment you walk in you'll forget about all that. The employees are friendly and everyone knows your name. The Dalquest Brothers really know their business. By the time I left, I felt like an old friend. They are incredibly knowledgeable about the products, were patient in helping me to select just the right cigar AND they showed me how to smoke it-- properly. Lol. The cigar was great!!! Anywho, I'll definitely back. Thanks so much Bob! read more

Tobacco Cabana - Excellent Service= Happy Customers - Tobacco Shops Near Me - Cedar Hill, Texas

Nice store, however the selection of pipes is very seasonally with them. It's great for a few months after their pipe show each fall and then it gets picked over and then remains blah until next year. Great selection of tobaccos, all stored fresh and they are super nice to talk with in store, and knowledgable about the tobaccos etc. read more

WHAT A GREAT PLACE! Friendly staff who take their time helping you choose what cigars or tobacco you are wanting to buy. Both Bob and Dave are skilled and extremely knowledgable when it comes to the technique and art of smoking pipe, as well as the history and knowledge behind cigars. I was blown away on both of my experiences and ended up taking way too long in the store to settle on what I wanted to buy. I would especially recommend this store for new smoking or for those who want to step into the world themselves, to both pipe and cigar. read more

I recently moved from Houston and one of my biggest fears was that I would not be able to find a cigar shop to replace the one I had frequented for years. It took a while to find but Tobacco Cabana is one of the best kept secrets in Cedar Hill. The staff is friendly and helpful. They don't have the biggest selection out there, but focus on quality over quantity. They also have a phenomenal selection of pipe tobacco. The VIP area that really takes the experience up a notch. I would recommend them to anyone! Great group to deal with! read more

Great funny guy who runs the store! Retired and runs the store as a hobby which is great because he's willing to take the time to make sure you get a product you'll enjoy. (and with a price that is incredibly low !) Pipes: over 80 fresh kinds of pipe tobacco to choose from. Even a few private blends, that smell and smoke great! (try chicks-dig-it ) I have yet to find any selection as wide and fresh as his in the Dallas area! Cigars: great selection, and more then willing to order whatever you need. I was impressed that his cigars are kept fresh in his 4 smaller humidors (6 ft by 4 ft large) as opposed to a walk in humidor. Because a walk in changes humidity whenever someone walks in, often the cigars by the front door of a walk are dry and the ones in the back are too moist. But Jim avoided that problem and opted for a model that provides fresher cigars but is a little less showy. (besides, he saves money with his method and passes it onto the customer!) Simply put: best selection and freshest / best priced tobacco around. (Note: I been buying from Jim for a few years and I work once in a while at the store to help out) read more

A small tobacco shop, with a giant selection of better cigars. Owner, Jim Klipp is one of the most laid back, informative guys you'll meet in the biz. I used to purchase cigars online, but Tobacco Cabana has got me now! Quality + Price = my business! Tobacco Cabana also caters to pipe smokers. Directions: Southbound Hwy 67. Take the Cooper Ave. exit and make an immediate right turn onto Hickerson. (before you reach Cooper) http://tobaccocabana.com read more

Best sticks in the area. This man takes pride in his product unlike some places around here.

I've been buying cigars from Jim since he was up the street at the knife sharpening store. Now that he has the place on Hickerson , the selection has gotten bigger and better. The best part is the prices are still the best . David who mostly runs the shop is great . Stop by and check them out , you'll love it !! read more

Went here today to pick up a new pipe and some more Tobacco and it was outstanding customer service. I was very pleased with my purchase and drew a ace to get 25% off my pipe. I found this shop using my yelp app on my phone. I figured it would be up to snuff (no pun intended) based on the five star review... I was sorely disappointed. I picked up some cigars as a gift for my husband in light of his promotion. I wish I hadn't. They were somewhat dry and the flavor was not enjoyable to either of us. One of them wasn't smokeable. Once the end was cut, the wrap began to fall off. I'd suggest that the owner of the business invest in a better humidity control system in the future or at least some serious discounts. read more

Great selection of cigars. Very helpful on types of cigars and humidors. I also love the organization of the place. Will be joining the club area in the back pretty soon read more
