A female employee was sexually harassed by another employee to the point where she was having mental break downs about it. The company has his actions on camera. What do they do? They don't fire him. They moved him to another store without even telling that store why he is being moved to "give him a fresh start". They keep it under wraps. Then they victim blamed her for it, this was victim blaming from other women too I might add. No, it is not a flex to be a "pick me" woman and put down other women. This company is rife with sexism, the women in upper management are especially sexist. They only care about their employees if they over extend themselves constantly and buy into their way of thinking. This company was responsible for a lot of the homeless getting hooked on spice and even produced it in their own warehouse. Their pay is not livable, even as a new manager you make 15 an hour and work 50-60 hour weeks. They way over price their items. Don't waste your money here. read more

Went in for some vape juice and they give a 5% disc to military (even though the prices are still on the high side compared to their competition). Guy says I need your military ID but once you separate after a 4 year term the ID expires once reserve is up so I no longer have one. I told him you're about to lose good business because I just live right down the street from here but he shrugged his shoulders so I said I'll be talking to the owner about this...losing business over a 5% discount. He said the owner will tell you the same thing. Not a good way to build a business when there are vape shops on every corner smh. I bought a bat the last time and it came to almost $10! He made some suggestions and even threw in a pipe poker for free. Then he asked me to roll dice when I was checking out as part of a "promo" offer for raffle tickets. Walked in to the in look for a cheap pipe. The customer service was horrible and after I chose a pipe I asked for the prices and was told the one I chose was only 36 US dollars. I payed and left. The next morning woke up to my account being overdrawn by 346 US dollars. I quickly called and ask for manger was rudely told to wait and after reaching him he reviewed my transaction. I wish I could give this rating more than a 1 star as the lady who helped me inside the store was really helpful, and very kind. However, this is where my experience went south. The associate in the store helped me pick a scale out and told me that she would gladly calibrate it while I continued to look around the store. When I was done looking she had it all boxed up and ready to sell to me. When I bought the item and went home I slide it out of the box and immediately notice a black ink splotch on the LCD screen where it had been damaged. I call the location to ask to see what they can do for this and the manager rudely told me that they do not return electronics nor will they take or refund any money back. I never even turned the scale on and this "manager" refuses to give the corporate number to me so that I can take this to someone higher. I will say this, I will never shop with Gas Pipe again because the managers mentality was "well you should have watcher her calibrate it" when he should have said "oh I sold you a damaged item? The Gas Pipe is a cool, eclectic little gem situated on Maple Ave in the Medical District area of Dallas. They offer an assortment of smoking accessories from blunts, rolling papers, water pipes, bongs, hydroponic accessories, XXX accessories, incense and other merch. They have alot of stuff, but the only knock on this place was when I asked the cashier for a black and mild and they were sold out b/c he smoked the last one. Service levels vary, but that's the day and age in which we live. Keeping expectations low to nil truly helps when dealing with all types of customer service. This particular gas pipe is rather unique, in that it is very large with a wide variety of merchandise to choose from and a world of things to look at. The biggest problem is definitely the extremely expensive prices for very low quality brands. The staff is also usually very unapologetic about the available brands , the available quality and the lack of available merchandise. Our guess is given that the area in which this particular GP is located, that is the reasoning behind the overwhelming prices. All in all definitely recommend other locations, more specifically the Lake Highlands shop. read more
