Great place to come and get liquor, wine, coolers, etc. Store layout is pretty straightforward by type of alcohol. Prices are also pretty competitive for the selection. Plenty of parking in front of the store so it's easy to get in and get out. read more

Came in on a Saturday around 1ish to shop for a house warming party.. when I walked in, I wasn't greeted but honestly no big deal.. I don't think they do that here. I walked straight up to what I was looking for, but to my surprise they were out of the flavor I needed. I walked around some more to see if maybe they are in another area but didn't find anything. So I walked up to the front to ask, and it turned out they do have more but they are alllll the way at the top lol! The associate told me that she would get someone with some equipment to get it down... So then I start the wait game, atleast 10min. Go by then another 5 or so go by, I see the same associate walking around, smiling with coworkers, while I stand in the same place waiting on her. Needless to say NO! she did not come back, to check to see if I had what I was looking for... I had to go and walk up to her again to ask if anyone was coming. Smh. She walked away to get some help, but not before telling me that someone did get the liquor but got the super big bottle instead.. but if that's the case.. why didn't anyone say anything and just let me stand there! So eventually they came with the machine and got the liquor down. Honestly it could have been an in and out trip, but instead I was inside probably 20min. Or more. Yes, ofc I'd go back because I always have a good / alright experience... but I'm going to stick to the other location instead. read more

My gym buddies and I were having a rooftop cookout in our building so I was in charge of bringing the pictures of cocktails. I planned on making Harvey wall bangers because they're such a fruity summary drink the color from the orange juice and then the Galliano on top just looks refreshing on a hot day. I knew total wine had Galliano, which is the main ingredient and not many places carry it. I walked in. I looked around. I looked for the guy in the red shirt that I knew would be there to help me out and he took me right to what I wanted, and I was on my way too easy. read more

First off - the staff. So well staffed both in number (employees are EVERYWHERE!) and in service/care to guests. That is an enormous thumbs up in my book. Second - the selection. Bar none, the best from spirits to mixers, alcohol-free to THC-enhanced...they have it all. And, at competitive prices. Love it that they deliver! read more

Very clean store, tho much smaller than the others around the DFW complex. Being smaller, it seemed a bit more confusing trying to understand the layout of the shelves. I came in to see about whiskey, and the layout of brands was much different than the other stores I frequent on the Ft Worth side of town. Staff was friendly and cordial. Nice place. read more

Great selection, decent pricing, easy order pick up. But Justin should not be in a customer facing position with such a terrible attitude. It's never fun as a customer to be treated like you're annoying the employee when you need assistance read more

Leaving Total Wine in 2025 My husband and I have had two extremely disappointing experiences at the Total Wine location on Oak Lawn. During our first visit, my husband asked an employee for assistance locating an item. The employee responded in an unprofessional and inappropriate manner, stating, "If you get your lazy ass down here you can see it's here." This language was completely unacceptable. On a separate visit on New Year's Eve, while checking out, the cashier requested my ID, which I provided. She then asked for my husband's ID, even though he was not making the purchase. He explained that he did not have his ID with him, as he had joined me on the errand at the last minute. The employee stated that once an ID is requested, everyone must show one and informed him--rudely--that he could not remain in the store and needed to leave. When I addressed the employee's tone, she responded by saying, "I could have been ruder." Both interactions demonstrated a lack of professionalism, courtesy, and basic customer service. These experiences were extremely disappointing and have led us to discontinue shopping at this location. read more

This place has the best selection and prices in town. They are friendly and accommodating when you need help.

Ashton was able to find me a bottle I needed!! Very thankful, he's the best. Appreciate him and the store!

Super kind and helpful cashiers!! It's hard to find Michelob Ultra Amber Max at many places, so I was super happy to find it there. Great selection for wine as well, I will be back for sure. read more

I'm on vacation and need Dolin dry vermouth and Chambord. Am I in luck or what! Not only did they have both but the prices were so much cheaper than at home in California. To boot they had the big Chambord ! Difficult to find in my neck of the woods. They also had employees in the aisles to assist with finding products. Five Stars. Go Total Wine! read more

I just want to give a big thank you to Ashton for all of his help while I was with my client (the groom of the wedding I'm planning) at Total Wine. Ashton went above and beyond--he guided us through a tasting of everything, answered every question we had, and helped us put together an incredible selection of wine and spirits for the big day. Even better, he helped us stay within our budget without sacrificing quality or variety. Ashton made what could have been an overwhelming experience genuinely enjoyable and efficient. Highly recommend working with him if you have the chance. Thank you again, Ashton! read more

This is my go to spot if I want recommendations! They always have people that can help me find what I need and even taste options to see what I really want. Only downside is the parking can be tight but they do have parking across the street read more

They have everything you need here. Especially if you are traveling in town. Alcohol prices here are a lot more reasonable. Going to find Alcohol in texas isn't the easiest thing in the world especially for a good price. I only buy my spirits from here when im here. read more

Only at Total Wine is it faster to leave the unattended online order pick up line, shop for your items, and pay, in the time it takes the store to finally help one person in the online pick up line. All while multiple employees at the registers with zero customers do nothing to help. Also decided to leave the online pick up line when the one employee (who was actively doing shopping instead of handling customers already on site) skilled those waiting at the front of the line and scanned orders for the people at the back. Many local options to choose from to avoid this mistreatment. read more

Cashiers and managers are rude. Jenn was very unprofessional and was mad because she had to get me a bottle from the back (because it was locked up) read more

Disappointing. They didn't carry the 19 Crimes Australian Hard Chart d, just the Martha Stewart. So I ended up driving at to the Park Lane store. They had it and I stocked up. read more

I dropped by after work to get some whiskey for the weekend. Standing in line with 4 cashiers ringing up all the customers. Levi took me to an empty register and rang me up. Very polite, helpful and friendly. I wasn't expecting that. Normally, employees here are good, but Levi went above and beyond and took care of me so I could run the rest of my errands in a timely manner. I will be sure to return soon. Unfortunately, I wish you had a larger parking lot. It's always packed regardless of when I shop there. Thats good for your business. Tell Levi to keep up the great work! read more

Whenever there's a Total Wine in the area, I like to take a look and see what they have at this place has a lot of good options for wine and other beverages. I like their cognac selection and the brands that they carry. If you have any area, you should take a look around way better than the other big box liquor stores. read more

Online order cancelled four days later because they don't know how to manage their inventory. Worthless.

This review has nothing to do with the business and everything to do with an employee willing to go above and beyond. I'm from Virginia Beach and was homeless in Dallas for one night. The TW employee helped me find a place to stay by reconnecting airbnb. Awesome customer service!!!! read more

I have shopped in person and had delivery. There is a wide range selection of beer and spirits, with fair prices for the merchandise and for delivery. The tracking on delivery is helpful, with the delivery drivers friendly. Join the frequent club to get your perks. read more

I have never been to a total wine where the staff are as unhelpful and disrespectful as this location.. I would avoid this location and spend your money elsewhere read more

When I shop for wine, I typically look for regions I stick to for the the varietal (e.g.: Willamette Valley for Pinots) and then search for their reviews online. It's time consuming, but generally works well. The first time I visited Total Wine, a very friendly associate must have noticed my quest and asked if I needed help selecting a wine. I normally would have said, "I'm good, thanks." But, in this case, I was already running late, and appreciated the help. The employee then asked a handful of questions about what I liked, and, within 5 minutes, I had several bottles in my price range that I wouldn't have otherwise considered. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF HIS SUGGESTIONS WAS SPOT-ON. I now ask for suggestions each time I visit and have a growing list of new favorites. read more

I had been waiting on this store to open so I was happy to see that it finally opened. I'm just going to hit the main points as to why I decided to give this place there stars and move on 1. They dont carry Wycliff champagne. It's a cheap wine I found while having girls night out at this bar in uptown. They had $1 glasses of champagne and it was delicious. I asked our waiter, she showed us the bottle and I've been hooked every since. Its hard to find and I dont always feel like driving to the Specs near north park mall and Goody Goody's down the street doesnt always have it in stock. So I was really hoping this place was going to carry it 2. They require you to take your ID out so that they can scan the back of it. I have two issues with that. First, I wear long nails. And it's annoying when I have to remove my license from my phone case. Plus it fits in my phone case slot pretty darn snug, so I just like to leave it there and people can still see my birth day and information. Second, covid-19 is going on. I have gloves on in the store and I want to touch as FEW things as possible. But no, I have to reach in my purse, open up my cell phone wallet ( touching the straps, my phone and the ID) So that they can scan the back of my ID. They are requiring me to do more work than I'm willing to for a store that doesnt even carry my champagne lol. I wasn't even the person purchasing liquor ( my boyfriend was) and the cashier still wanted me to pull out my ID as well. I'll probably keep going to Goody Goodys ( unless Im at the post office and get the urge for a liquor store run) since they have my champagne sometimes and they dont require me to almost break a nail or contaminate my phone to pull my ID out. But this store is definitely a looker. Nice, clean, they have cigars, it's new, fresh and has a decent selection. I know it will be a great fit for alot of people in this neighborhood. read more

So I'm usually not one for posting reviews unless the service was exceptional or horrendous. In this case, this was one of my best experiences ever while buying liquor! Customer service is always on point. The cashiers are friendly and polite and the prices on everything here beats out a lot of competitors. I've been coming here for about a year and so glad I found this place. Curbside pickup was a breeze. Fast, convenient, and great customer service. Great job. Will recommend to everyone. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The parking is a complete joke. I had an order for curbside pickup. Went by 3 TIMES to pick up and couldn't even get into the parking lot. I finally just went in and found someone to scan the code so they could go in the back and get my order. I had to walk my case of wine across the street and lo and behold they gave me a box that was already opened on the bottom and ALL of the bottles of wine rolled out all over the parking lot. Thanks for asking to help me since it was curbside pickup and thanks for giving me a box with a bottom that was opened. Great job folks q read more

I have gift cards that are two years old and was eager to use them at this location in our neighborhood. The manager told me they would not honor the gift cards because they moved to a new system. I need to call their corporate offices and have new cards shipped. That's disappointing. read more

Arrogant and bad customer service. I wanted a simple delivery of a case of champagne two streets away from the store and they told me it was out of their delivery area. I think maybe their anti-gay can't know for sure but from the tone of the customer service representative in the store that's all I can deduce. read more

If you are planning a party and need assistance, do not go here. I called this location for help in planning a 100-person party, and was placed to customer service. The person (I believe his name was Robert) was absolutely rude and left me furious. First, he was not helpful at all. He did not provide any direction or assistance -- and rather treated me condescendingly. Second, he noted that this store is the smallest store in Dallas and the store could not help me. Exasperated, when I finally asked what he could do to help -- again, he was rude, unhelpful, and had no response. They may be the closest store for uptown residents. But it seems that they take their customer service for granted when it comes to helping these residents plan large scale events. If you are planning a large scale event (or even a wedding), I wouldn't waste your time with this team and especially Robert. read more

Not impressed. Service was non-existent this morning, poor in-stock. Engage with your customers / provide better customer service and improve your in-stock conditions... 3rd attempt at this location, not impressive which is unfortunate. The cashiers are always buried in their phones and the managers seem so busy that they fail to extend courtesy... bummer! read more

My husband and I stopped by today to pick up a few bottles and check out this new location. We were really in awe of the selection available, and the amazing customer service. Alexander was SO helpful! We were stuck in the French section trying to make a decision and he swooped in at just the right time. He asked us our budget, what we liked, and helped us find a unique wine we wouldn't have normally selected ourselves. We can't wait to go back and discover new favorites! read more

Awesome store. Ruldopho is the best. Always great service and fast checking out. Good selection. My only complaint is the parking lot.

Great selection of cigars. A lot of sticks that I haven't heard of. Tons of affordable options that are great smokes. Also I love that they have descriptions next to each box that tell you the flavor profile and strength of body which helps me decide if I want to try something new. read more

Great location, always stocked and management is great! Managers are always out on the floor supporting their team as well as customers. They have an okay selection of wine and beer, but hardly any mixes and the "more" they advertise is really lacking. But regardless the customer service at this location is AWFUL.
