Well...this was a nicely crafted gem of a place to try out. If you want drinks and an enjoyable bar scene of relaxing, chatting, drinking or just enjoying the underground scenery. This is the spot for you to try... Upon walking in, you're figuring out which way to go but it's wag to find and you find that entrance to the bottom. Great drink selection and tip top service. I enjoyed my time and drink here... It's a must to try. Thank you 36B!!!!
What a beautiful little speakeasy! Located below Sip Coffee and Beer Garage, it's like you are walking into a beautifully decorated fairytale. We were greeted by two bartenders who were very friendly and even offered to take our photos to make our night more memorable. I didn't get their names but they were very attentive and pleasant. We ordered drinks only but noticed the food looked delicious. I ordered the Earth - White Rum, Plum Wine, Red Rice Spirit, Oolong Peach Cordial, Lime, Cherry Blossom. $18. Delicious. My friends ordered the Air - Buddha's Hand Vodka, Yogurt Soju, Jackfruit, Chamomile, Forest Liqueur, Shiso, Lemon, Coconut Air, Strawberry Jello. $18 And, finally the Orchid - Vodka, St. Germain, Aloe, Lemon, Lavender. $19. This had a light inside. Displayed beautifully. Are the drinks a little expensive? Maybe. But it is about the experience right? It's a fun, friendly and immersive experience in this underground speakeasy.
Hubby and I are a fan of this cool little speakeasy. In the middle of Sip Coffee you'll find a staircase leading down to this tiny bar. Just walking down the stairs with your line with plants and lights, you know you're in for a cool little place. And this place is very little. They're pressed tin ceilings and a bar with stools along both sides. The ceiling has an awesome floral theme, and there are cool little niches with plants in them. On either side of the room there are large screens with themed films going. Because the theme for this quarter is Tokyo Lights, the two big screens showed Tokyo with cherry blossoms. There were Japanese lanterns and flags and cherry blossom trees in the corners. This place does change themes four times a year. We've been to several of the themes including a super cool ski Lodge theme and a tiki luau theme. We'll be going back soon because the new theme beginning April 29th is Paris. The drinks here are presented so well. It's hard to choose because there are so many cool and original drinks, with many of them themed for whatever the current theme is. There's also a small selection of food, also themed. Hubby had the cocktail called Fire, which came in an iguana mug and was lit on fire. I had the Kiwis Nest. Both were delicious and beautifully presented. For the second round we got the cocktail called "Air," which had foamy bubbles and a spoon with Jello, and "Earth," a yummy peachy cocktail served in a cat mug. We also ordered some food. We ordered the Fire Noodle Salad, which was a combination of rice noodles, carrots, green onions, peanuts, in a peanut sauce, which was lit on fire. Next we ordered the Smoked Potstickers, which came in a wooden box. When the server got to the table he opens up the box and the smoke comes out and he takes out your pot stickers. Those were absolutely delicious! Actually, so was the fire noodle salad. We always have a great server here. They really try to make it's a good experience for you, and tonight was no different. Because this is an "experience" place, you are limited to 90 minutes. You also must pay a $25 deposit, but it doesn't get charged unless you don't show up for your reservation. Reservations really are a must - you might be able to slide in, but I wouldn't risk it. Parking here is really good. It's a regular parking lot and we've never have trouble getting a space. We will continue to be big fans of 36 Below. It's just a cool place to grab a drink before or after dinner, or in our case, the munchies we got was enough for our dinner and we didn't have to go elsewhere.
We were so excited to finally check out 36 Below. It's located inside Sip Coffee & Beer. After you walk in and pass the bar, there's a staircase that takes you downstairs to this hidden little cocktail spot. The space is small and cozy, with a few two-person tables and some bar seats. It's honestly a really cute place for date night. We knew it can get pretty packed, so we decided to come right when they opened at 4 pm instead of coming after dinner. Our friendly server told us they change their theme four times a year, and right now the theme is Neon Tokyo. Instead of doing their Cocktail Experience, we decided to order a few things ourselves: the VOID, AIR, the Upside Down Pineapple cocktail, the Green Matcha Soufflé, and the Onyx Ube Ice Cream. The presentation was really fun and creative. The ice cube in the VOID even had the Japanese character 空 carved into it, and the espresso-infused bourbon was served in a soy sauce bottle, which was such a cool touch. The AIR cocktail came in a Japanese bowl with coconut air foam, and it also came with a little spoon of strawberry jelly. So cute! I've honestly never had a cocktail served in a bowl before. The Upside Down Pineapple cocktail was also really delicious. And for dessert, the ube ice cream and the semi-sweet green matcha soufflé were both amazing. We're really glad we finally checked it out. Such a fun experience, and we'll definitely be back again, probably with a few friends next time so we can try more drinks.
A few girlfriends and I finally made it in to 36 below after talking about it for months. We came during Christmas time which was quite hard to get in. We booked about two weeks out & had to do a late night week day. It was still worth it though! The only negative was that we still had to wait about 15 mins after our set reservation time to be seated. The bar was decorated so beautifully inside & made you feel like you stepped into Christmas in NYC. I loved how cozy it felt. We did the three person deal which included two drinks for each of us & the mistletoe dip. I thought the pricing was pretty reasonable & I really enjoyed everything. The drink presentations were everything! I'll definitely be back again to check out another theme & hopefully it won't be as crazy busy during non-holiday season.
I say...come check it out but know these things first: I've seen this place all over social media and it looks super cool--however--this place is not as big as it appears online. Make reservations. Understand that the 90 min (1hr, 30 min) experience goes by fast and they will have 1 server and 1 bartender for the whole place (at least on a Saturday at 4pm). We would have ordered more--we typically always do at these places but we timed out. Seating is also tight. We got sat at the very bottom of the stairs and in the way of the constant staff going back and forth to the kitchen. I could have easily elbowed one by accident. The chairs are very uncomfortable too BTW. Our server was super helpful and kind but poor thing is just one person for a room full of patrons in a tight small space. With that said--the theme we experienced was the Neon Tokyo. It was good. I came. I saw. I conquered. I don't know if I would come back but that's the thing with themes--depending on the theme...I may come back knowing the service is slow. Alright food and cocktails: I would say 7/10 We did the party of two--4 cocktails and 1 appetizer. 1st Round: I ordered the Fire cocktail--awesome presentation with the Fire. Cocktail itself was mid. My fiancé ordered the Earth and his was delicious. 2nd Round: I ordered the Orchid--pretty presentation and yummy cocktail. Would rate it as an 8/10. The fiancé ordered the Void and it was DELICIOUS!!! Our favorite cocktail of the night. Food we ordered was the potstickers and they were very mid. I can cook these in the air fryer myself. Considering the powerhouse speakeasy spots walking distance away at Century Grand--this place is subpar compared to Platform 18, Undertow, RenRx which are all far superior. Like I said--come try it and cross it off the bucket list.
This is a really cool speakeasy that regularly changes the theme! The theme was neon Tokyo when I went and the decor and the screens did a great job creating that experience. It's located downstairs in Sip and you have to make a reservation in advance. They have themed and signature cocktails available as well as some food. I got the Kiwi's Nest cocktail because it had taro and I enjoyed it! The presentation of the drinks is really elaborate and fun. Service is top notch here.
What we got: "All for four" Lemongrass potstickers Crab salad Earth cocktail Fire cocktail Air cocktail All for four or something like that priced at $164 for 8 cocktails or beers and mocktails , and two lemongrass potstickers unless you wanna exchange one of them for another food item they have which we did and got the crab salad , as a none cocktail drinker myself i really enjoyed the earth one similar to a mai tai without orgeat if you are allergic to nuts like myself decor was cute an music on point , food was soooo goood omg those potstickers weren't super lemongrass flavored which is really nice as well as the crab salad. Had the perfect amount sauce and then went really well at the seaweed slices that they provided. We overall had a really great time here and I can't wait for the next event. Service was a bit slow due to how packed it was but other then that no problems
We were so stoked to try out the Tokyo After dark menu but we are giving a 1 star for the service that we received. We were first advised that the system overbooked reservations and the hostess was doing what she could to get us in. When we were finally placed it took us 10 minutes to even be acknowledged by Naya who asked if we wanted still or sparkling water. It also proceeded to take another 20 minutes for her to come back to get our order. We thought the busy hour was over when we got our drinks. We requested our check early so we could make it to another reservation. However 15 minutes later, after being completely ignored we finally had to walk to the waitress Naya to get our check. If this is a problem, consider hiring 2 servers On the menu overall, our favorite was Earth and Void cocktails. The menu was overall tasty but please provide better service.
What a fun speakeasy! My friend and I had drinks at 36 Below over the summer during their Aquatica theme. My friend made a reservation which was wise because it was pretty busy. As we descended down the stairs, it felt like we were entering an underwater oasis. The Aquatica theme had a tiki bar vibe. We were seated at a table for two. The chairs were small and extremely uncomfortable. Our server was Summer and she was very nice and attentive. She told us about the date night special which consists of 4 cocktails (or mocktails) and an appetizer for $79. We weren't planning to do more than one drink, but it was too good a deal to pass up. We started with Chips and Guac which was so delicious! We were happy to have some food to munch on since we had already enjoyed a few cocktails nearby. For the first beverage I went with the Coral Queen. It came in a cute mermaid glass. It was a gin based cocktail and it was a bit on the sweeter side. My friend had the Pearl of the Sea which came in a cute conch shell glass. Glasses can be purchased for $30. For my second drink, I had the Anaya Spritz which was very refreshing. It was a basil cucumber and olive oil cocktail which is right up my alley. My friend had the Earl Grey Sour which she enjoyed. The theme changes quarterly, though they do have signature cocktails that stay on the menu. We had fun and it was a great way to end our night!
We checked out 36 Below's Christmas during their holiday pop-up and had such a fun time. First off, we came in matching "chest" and "nuts" shirts, which felt very on brand for the night The bar is tucked away in the basement of a coffee shop, so it's definitely a tight space, but don't let that fool you. It's cozy, festive, and absolutely packed with personality and flavor. We did the Cocktail Experience for Two, which included four cocktails and a dip, and it was such a great value. We upgraded to the crab dip with naan, and it was 100% worth the upcharge. The flavor was rich and indulgent. Could it have used a little more crab? but I'm from Baltimore, so my crab standards are admittedly spoiled Still delicious. Food wise the chicken & cranberry meatballs were a standout. So good that I'm already planning to recreate them at home. I mean YUM For drinks, I had the Filthy Animal and the Snow Globe. The Filthy Animal was a really creative, cozy take on a hot toddy. The Snow Globe was the perfect balance of sexy and playful,A Christmas cosmo done right! My partner had the whiskey sour with amaretto and could not stop talking about how good it was. The bartender's provided a Festive atmosphere, plus the thoughtful menu, and a fun experience. We'll definitely be back
Wife and I have been wanting to try 36 Below's Christmas themed bar and drinks. Located beneath Sip Coffee & Beer it is a small themed bar with rotating motifs. We secured an early reservation at 4 pm and were promptly seated at our reservation time. Quickly greeted by our server and the specialty drinks were explained and we put in an order. I ordered the Nutcracker Reposado Tequila, Coffee Liqueur, Amaro Montenegro, Blueberry Cordial, Salted Maple Pistachio Cream, Mexican Mole (contains dairy, nuts). Wife opted for the Snow Globe Vodka, Soju, Beet, Pomegranate, Orange, Baking Spice, Lime, Cherry Blossom, Yogurt Clarified (contains dairy) Both drinks were very tasty and the presentation was appropriately themed and well done. The bar quickly filled up and it becomes pretty tight quarters, not to where you are jammed in too tightly but the volume of conversations and temperature definitely increases so dress in some layers if you're prone to higher temps in tight spaces. I opted for the Filthy Animal which was a tasty hot toddy Graham Cracker Infused Whiskey, Chai Tea, Spanish Vanilla, Scottish Honey, Lemon, Bolivar, Cold Foam (contains dairy). Wife went for a Kiwi's Nest which was a very unique but tasty tropical type of cocktail Rum and Pisco Blend, Coca Leaf Liqueur, Kiwi Cordial, Taro-Coco Milk, Lime, Cherry Bark. By this time an hour had passed, the bar was full and drinks were taking about 10-15 minutes so we opted for the check. Totally understandable. Service was good but there's only so much staff you can get in that small space and be able to seat enough people, but not so many you can't get around. We did enjoy the bar and the drinks and would definitely recommend if themed bars are your thing.
Ok soo went on a road trip to AZ and I'm obsessed with speakeasy's- soo this was a must visit!! The address showed a coffee shop but if you go inside you'll see a host - that's who will help you find this gem!!! Walk down some stairs and you are instantly transported to an under the sea experience!! They serve light bites and amazing cocktails! When we visited- they had just charged the menu the day before/ we I definitely felt lucky to try their drinks!! We got a few different ones and my favorite was definitely the Antediluvian (the one in the lady head) and the Buried Treasure that's like a fishbowl!! The server was so kind and attentive- service was quick! It was such a great experience- I am telling all my AZ friends- they must visit!! read more
Love this place so much!!! It was my first time visiting here and I already can't wait for visiting here again! There are plenty of parking spots behind the building, and just to let you know, this bar is hidden. It's located in Sip & Beer, it took me sometime for me to find this place! And there's a stairway to the bar, in the middle of Sip & Beer... it looks super cool and awesome. And when I got into 36 Below, omg! the place is super cute and dreamy, although it's a tiny place, but I really loved it! And people here are super friendly and nice. :) We got to order The Genesis and the other one (I forgot the name...) and a charcuterie board, they were all yum! I'm not really good with any alcoholic beverages taste like alcohol, so if you're like me, please try the Genesis. Very citrusy and sweet, and didn't smell alcohol too much, which was just perfect for me! And there were lots of cheese on the charcuterie board, couldn't even finish the half of it lol Oh and you get to have 90 minutes and there is automatic 20% gratuity to the bill! Great cocktails and fun atmosphere. The bar frequently rotates its cocktails, food, and overall theme, so you can look forward to something new the next time you visit. Right now, it has an Alice in Wonderland type feel, but there are plans for a Halloween, winter tundra, and Christmas theme in the coming months. Our server was incredible, fun, extremely knowledgeable and helpful in selecting a drink you'll love. A fun stop for sure! read more

Super cool speak easy we came across! You have to make reservations ahead of time and the payment you make goes towards your tab. Drinks are at minimum $18 so expect to splurge! We got a variety of drinks and loved all of them! My favorite was the genesis it was probably one of the best cocktails if not THE best cocktail I've had in a long time. Loved the ambience although they will notify you when your time slot is over. A great place to experience and our waiter was super kind! Great staff, fun environment, and delicious cocktails. Not a fan of the drinks, but have to give them 3 stars because the staff is really friendly and the presentation is beautiful. The space itself looks great and feels totally different (much brighter) than the tiki bar that was here before. The low cushion seats at our table were a little shaky (my friend almost fell off his) and if you are seated next to one of the fountains on the wall, be ready for a light sprinkle. But still, the space is cute inside. Sadly, I wasn't a fan of the cocktails we tried. ~Roku Nomu is served in a beautiful glass with an asymmetrical rim. The ingredients all sounded refreshing, but it tasted like maybe the tonic had gone flat. Or perhaps the bubbles were just overpowered? ~Gate to Eden was also pretty, but too sweet for my tastes. Same for the Utopia which arrives under a smoked filled glass container and is served with a flaming marshmallow. The smoked marshmallow was a fun garnish, but the drink itself too sweet for me. ~Garden of the Gypsies arrives with another impressive staging. I really like savory cocktails, but the mushroom reduction in here was too strong for me. It reminded me of the soaking liquid that is left behind after rehydrating dried mushrooms. I really wanted to love this place and definitely give them credit for creativity, but don't think I'll be back. It seems popular, though. Totally booked on the Saturday we were there, so make a reservation if you are planning to check it out. read more
We came here on a Friday night and had a great time. The bartenders were super friendly even though you could tell they were short staffed and it was more towards the later time of the evening/closing time. I told them the types of drinks I like and they made me a perfect cocktail. Would definitely come back to try more of their cocktail options. read more

My friend and I came here because we saw a TikTok about it. The vibes here are really neat with an underwater/garden of Eden theme. We were able to walk in on a Tuesday night without a reservation. Our server was nice and the service was quick. I had the Blue Hour cocktail which I was not a fan of unfortunately. I'm sure this is due to personal preference. This cocktail was not worth $22 and had a bizarre, musty, aftertaste. If I were to come back, I would love to try the nonalcoholic cocktails. read more

This is a really cool place! The bartenders were incredibly knowledgeable and great to talk to. We made a reservation for 4 of us and sat at the bar. The hostess did try to tell us we had to sit with a pole in between our group but she ended up moving us. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because as much as it's a cool place the drinks are pretty expensive for being a normal size. $22 for a martini glass sized drink hurt my heart a little but otherwise it was great! Definitely worth trying. read more

HOT NEW SPOT ALERT !!!!!! I saw this place on Instagram and let's say I was not disappointed by my experience. I made a reservation on their website. The process of making a reservation was extremely easy. THIS IS DEFINITELY AN AMAZING, CREATIVE UNIQUE SPOT. If you are looking for a cool bar or date spot with amazing food and exquisite service look no further... This place is located in Sip coffee shop. There isn't any large signs indicating 36below is in the building so if your searching for the bar, look for SIP coffee . 36below whole experience.... Lets start with the decor its a modern Greek garden themed.. Everything from the glasses (cups) the drinks go in to the smell of the drinks was well thought out. Whoever thought of this is extremely talented .... While the menu is limited on food, the items placed on the menu are delicious. I order the vegetarian impossible sliders. It came on a cute tree platter... It was one of the best vegetarian burgers ive ever tasted, the aioli sauce and sautéed onions really adds a unique flavor to the food. The drinks appeal to all 5 of sense!!! As i sat at the bar, I had the opportunity to really smell the drinks as they were being crafted! Who knew drinks could smell and look so beautiful. It definitely takes some talent to make drinks smell and taste that good! If you are going to drink one of those beautiful drinks come prepared, they don't short change you on the liquor; I definitely felt good leaving the bar. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THE STAFF!!! WOW WHAT A AMAZING BUNCH! THEY WORK WELL TOGETHER AND THEY ALL GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO MAKE YOUR EXPERIENCE SPECIAL!!!! I think all the staff spoke to me in some shape of form. Despite the staff being busy they still took time to engage with the customers and keep smiles on their faces!!! If you are thinking about making a reservations, stop thinking and go book your experience before the slot fills ;) I highly recommend visiting this restaurant!!! Made reservations to check out the Christmas/winter theme. The scenery was cute, but did change into a raining snow scenery, which was a little less cozy. We tried a few of the drinks, which were OK, none really were outstanding. We also did the charcuterie board, and we did enjoy the spread with that. Our seats were at the bar, and we did have to get the bartenders attention each time we wanted to put in a new order. We never received any warning that our reservation was ending either until the hostess came over told us the next reservation was starting and we needed to close out. Overall, wasn't as impressed as I hoped to be. read more

Check out 36 Below! Creative design, yummy drinks, and delicious treats. Recommend making reservations in advance. We went during the grand opening week and had a good time. The original table they placed us was near the entrance with potential for people to accidentally run into us but the staff was accommodating and moved us to the bar. It was very nice of them while having a full set of reservations for the day. The staff was friendly and attentive. The drinks are a bit pricey for the size, but they are also delicious. The food is yummy. I had the burgers and my friend had the salad. The staging of the food and drinks are creative. Although it is a bit pricey for an every day experience; a treat here and there is nice. You are paying for the experience. read more

36 Below is located downstairs within Sip Coffee and Beer. If you go on a weekend, be sure to make reservations! Each drink on the menu is very unique and exciting! I ordered a drink that featured turmeric and nutmeg flavors and came with a pastry. The charcuterie board came in around $23 and was well worth it for the amount of meat, cheese, olives, and chocolate that you got. Staff was very knowledgeable and able to recommend drinks! read more

This is my second time here and I was surprised that this time around the service was lacking. Just setting a drink down in the middle of the table and not telling us what is and whom it belongs when we have multiple people made it difficult to figure out who's drink was who. Plus it would be nice if the server told us that our time is almost up so we could get our last drink. We all wanted to buy another round but she forgot a drink during the first order that made us wait longer which in turn took our slot time. We were ready to order 5 more drinks (party of 5 was trying to save the espresso drink for last) and were disappointed that the server did not even help us with a reminder after the mess up. The drinks that we ended up getting were fantastic tho. They always taste great and look beautiful. Also love the winter theme. The video on the wall is so mesmerizing. read more

I was not impressed. Waited 15 minutes for the hostess upstairs. Then went down on our own to see what was going on since we didn't want to miss our reservation.. Hollis or something like that just told us to go back up and a hostess would be there. No questions or anything. We finally got seated 20 mins into our reservation. waited another 10 for water and didn't get our first drinks until 45 mins into our reservation. Honestly the place is cute, kinda small and cramped, but the service was enough for us to never come back or recommend to friends and family. I wish it had gone differently. Especially since it was valentines and should have been more of a special night. I looked on yelp after (posted this tock where we made the reservation and just copy pasted here) and other people have had issues with service as well. So it's a known issue. read more

We've been to 36Below a couple of times. Both times have been great, but I will say I like to be old garden theme better than the newer winter theme of decor. The drinks are absolutely fantastic, as is the charcuterie and delicious popcorn. read more

Cool place hidden inside a coffee shop. Very small, but nice "natural" ambience with small fountains embedded in the walls and nature videos played on two walls. Super expensive cocktails! Holy crap $20-24 dollars per drinks?! Great service, great cocktails, highly recommend to try once, but don't think I can afford return visits despite how good the drinks are and how much I want to come back! read more

Wow, wow and more Wow! what an excellent speakeasy and drinks to match the hype. I saw them on Instagram and decided to check them out because the drinks just looked so unusual. It was a few minutes before we could actually figure out where they were located and in the process we ended up making another couple so intrigued that they walked in with us. The decor is very modern, and Garden of Eden inspired which they take from the symbolism of the number 36 from the 36th verse in Genesis 2:5 and its origins in the trinity in their own unique way. The walls have screens with changing landscape pictures which adds to the ambience. The space is limited and there is only a handful of seats plus some bar seating, so it gets cramped real quick in there. After a while you can totally tell what happens to the neighbor's dog in the story being discussed by the couple sitting right next to you (its that close quarters) . The menu had just changed that day, so we had a few things that were new on the menu and enjoyed some house favorites. The presentation is top-notch and quite a few of the drinks have some over the top theatrics which makes the whole process even more enjoyable for the captivated audience. Food menu seems limited, and we got a charcuterie board - The cheese was something you would get from a pre-packaged grocery store snack box and everything including the crackers were cold and the meat was wet and rock hard, which tells me that they had pre-made it and stuck it in the fridge beforehand. Totally not worth the $$ . The drinks are the MVP at this place, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to experience beautiful yet well-made cocktails. read more

I went to this place to celebrate my friend's birthday. We booked the private room which was separate from the main room. The private room was cute and very instagramable. The outside was a bit more decorative and magical. It felt like a moving train with all the moving images and media that they had. The drinks here were very pretty and some came with interactive presentations. However, the tastes tended to be sweet, and mild. The price of the drinks was very expensive, which made us think it was mostly on the presentation and decoration rather than the taste. They also didn't have a lot of options as some other speakeasies had but I am sure if you ask the bartenders can make you what you requested. This place is located inside of a coffee/casual drink place. Reservations are recommended unless there might be a wait. The good news is that this place is close to a couple of other speakeasies and bars. It'd be fun to check out others while waiting for this one. I think if you prefer sweet and mild drinks or drinks with cute presentations, this would be a fun place for you. read more

Wow! I only got to spend 3 days in Phoenix, but this place was certainly a highlight! My buddy accidentally booked reservations for 4 of us thinking we could celebrate his birthday dinner there. The site mentioned vegetarian options (for me) - but he didn't look far enough to see that it was just for some lighter snack and charcuterie options. We adjusted our visit to come after some newly planned dinner reservations and I'm super glad we didn't skip this place altogether. We navigated there and were a bit confused to only find Sip (Coffee & Beer). I thought maybe the place had a name change, but we went inside anyway. We found the hostess and we asked if the place was 36 Below. She gestured toward a green velvet rope and some stairs that lead below the building, underneath Sip. So cool and very speakeasy-esque. Once the 4 of us were seated - we started to order our cocktails by our liquor of choosing and let me tell you - when they arrived, we were quite impressed by the presentation. In fact, we had to order another round - liquor presence out the door now - just to try some new ones of course and didn't care about mixing at this point. I think we were able to try 8 of the 9 cocktails. I personally had the Archangel and the Holy Water. Trying a bit of everyone's, my personal favorite was my friends (name is escaping me - but it had the edible paint swipe). My only negative about this place was the overhead green and red lighting. Made for some horrible photos - but the memories will live on. There aren't many seats below, maybe up to 10 people at the bar and up to 20 people seated - but I liked that exclusive, small, secretive and VIP feel. A small team of 4 running the joint. 2 bartenders, 1 server and 1 host running it on a busy Saturday night and I think their teamwork was amazing. You have to check this place out! read more

I tried 36 below last night with my husband & a friend & we loved it! They have small bites if you're hungry but we had already had dinner so we just came for the drinks! The space is super cute & cozy with the winter theme strong without the temperatures. Our server was awesome, I believe her name was Holis (I'm so sorry if I butchered this) & she was fantastic! We tried the Pirta, Leatherwood & Nanuq! The pirta was my favorite! You definitely need reservations as the place is tiny but definitely worth it! read more

Super cute little speak easy down the stairs from a coffee shop. Adorably decorated. Beautiful ambiance. Fun music. BUT the drinks were sooooo expensive! $22 for one drink! We got 2 drinks and a tiny dip platter - total was $60! You're definitely paying for the feel of this place. The drinks and dip were yummy, but for $60 I'll probably go elsewhere next time. read more

It was cool. Not sure if I would go back but everyone should try this place out. It's in a coffee shop called sip. The place was kinda small and they packed you in there. The tickets are $50 for two people but the price of the ticket went towards your bill. The drinks were smooth and strong. read more

This place was truly an experience! We booked a reservation a few days in advance. It was $25 per person but is applied to your bill.....easy! The system sent reminders which was nice. The location is located within a coffee shop which was super confusing but not too bad. The space was so intimate but the surround TVs with changing landscapes made it feel more open and relaxing. We each got two different drinks and they were amazing! The reason I gave 4 stars is because we bought a charcuterie board that was basic at best. For the price Id expect even a small piece of a really good cheese...not just some cheddar slices. And so fancy olives or something. We would pass on the charcuterie next time and stick with the fantastic drinks. The service was spot on. Our server had the best mustache and was super attentive and just wonderful! We highly recommend! read more
