1 of 2 pasta menus as of 10/7/19

On a Monday around 6pm, I came in and it was completely empty! I got seated right away. Over the course of an hour, there were about 5 or 6 tables that filled up. I ordered the Lobster Tonnarello pasta, and the presentation was great! I really wanted to love the pasta since this was my last night in Rome, but the lobster was overcooked, the pasta was undercooked, and the dish as a whole was underseasoned. I added a ton of chili oil (you can get this upon request - "pepperoncini"), and I should have added a ton of parmesan as well. The best part of the meal was their house made white wine - 500ml for €7 only! This poured about 3 glasses and made me happier during the meal as I tore away at the lobster with their lobster tools. Since the lobster was overcooked, it was really tough to scrape the meat out. :/

Clean and quick. Pizza looked good, lasagna was ok, and wine was average at best. Service was quick, and overall, I liked the place

First time visit this spot while solo traveling in Rome. Greeted immediately as I walked up. This place is very intimate and service was attentive. I was suggested to order the seafood pasta. Was told this is the style how grandmas make at home. It was so yummy. Never had I ordered and anchovies pizza before, yet I enjoyed it very much! Everyone was so friendly. A great place!

This place was closed to our Airbnb and we enjoyed our meals for the most part. Highly recommend the house white wine, cheap and delicious only €12 for 1 liter. Bruschetta (4/5): tasty. Seafood Pasta (3/5): good but could use more flavor. Clam Vongole (4/5): had more flavor than the seafood pasta so I enjoyed it. Prawn Pasta (4/5): my friend enjoyed this dish, it's very shrimp-y. Carbonara (2/5): tasted more like mac and cheese. Bolognese (4/5): solid choice for indecisive people. Overall nice Italian restaurant and we enjoyed the ambiance.

    Enough for 2!

Delicious! Ordered a takeout pizza my first night in Rome here and I couldn't rave about it more! Fast and friendly service. Maybe it's because I'm from the states and pizza there just doesn't compare but who knew to put zucchini flower and anchovies together on a pizza?! I will definitely continue this pairing when I get home for my family to try. The crust was crunchy but chewy at the same time which I didn't know was possible...unfortunately no matter how hard we try, the US will never be able to recreate pizza from Italy! While I was waiting for my pizza someone else's dish came out and it looked and smelled equally yummy!

Let me start off by saying that this place offered the BEST consistent and affordable meals had while in Rome. We stopped by 320 for lunch and dinner on two separate days. The restaurant was cute and cozy. The owner greeted us both times and he was super welcoming and nice. They offer menus in English, French, German, and Italian. For lunch, husbter and I ordered the pizza diavalo and cacio e pepe. Hubster absolutely loved his pizza. It had large slices of salami and cheese. The crust was crispy throughout. The pizza came out piping hot. So hot that the cheese was making it impossible for the salami to stay on with each bite. The pizza could have easily been split between two people. It was definitely on the larger size and for 10 euros the most bang for your buck. The cacio e pepe was everything I imagined it would be. Slightly chewy pasta with deep cheesy flavor. Not so cheesy that it would overpower the experience. The portion was huge. The next night, we decided to stop by again for dinner and create a memorable experience. We ordered a litre of white house wine (7.50 euro), an eggplant parmesan appetizer, seafood tonnarelli, and a lobster pasta that I can't remember the name of. I highly recommend the homemade house wine to share. We got about 4 half glass full between the two of us which was enough to sip on throughout our dinner and make both of us tipsy. Very smooth, slightly sweet, and delicious. Eggplant parmesan - I wasn't a fan of this dish. It was ok. It's not like the American eggplant parm that I'm used to seeing. It was thinly sliced eggplant layered with cheese. It was almost like an eggplant lasagna. Seafood tonnarelli - It was absolutely the bomb! Slightly chewy pasta with a light sauce that complimented the seafood. The seafood was plentiful and not fishy or overwhelming. It's been a week and I'm still thinking about that dish. Lobster pasta - Pasta was thick and chewy. Hubster said that the lobster was cooked to perfection, but required a little bit of work to get the lobster out of the shell. It was about 1/2 a lobster. At the end of our meal, the owner brought out complimentary shots of limoncello which was a really nice way to end the meal. This restaurant has set the new standard for my taste buds for pasta back home.

This was the first meal we had in Italy and after two weeks of fantastic food throughout the country, it remains one of our best. Even with its proximity to Termini, it feels intimate and authentic. We had two bruschetta and pasta. All of it was phenomenal. I highly recommend this spot for a quieter, authentic dinner.

6,318 miles from my home and I will travel to go back here again. We ate here 3/5 nights we were in Rome. Nothing else compared. My favorite was the lasagna. I love the flavor of the cheese. Also the Bolognese sauce was amazing, rich, and addicting.

Absolutely amazing and even better than the other reviews explained! This is a can't miss in Rome and even if it is out of your way, it's well worth the trip. Be sure to get the 320 appetizer and while they say it is for 2, 4 people could be very satisfied with the portions... it's huge! I had a seafood pasta the was nothing short of spectacular! I tried a bite of lasagna and it was also very good. Great atmosphere and the owner is attentive and extremely friendly. He takes pride in every dish. Gotta run, I'm ordering dessert!

Went here after seeing some reviews to try this restaurant. There is parking on the surrounding streets if you renting a car in Italy. We were greeted at the door and immediately sat. I ordered Eggplant parm which was amazing until the last bite. My main meal was some sort of lobster pasta. It was amazing everything was delicious. The table ordered three appetizers and the bill was no more than €130. Would definitely go again.

    Carbonara

Came here on my first night in Rome. This place was close to the air b&b and had great reviews. The wait to order the food and then to actually get the food was ridiculously long. They had a few tables but they were not busy. The food was okay. We had been in Europe for a couple weeks so far and this has been my least favorite meal. The pizza dough was good but there was too much cheese and not a lot of other flavor. They used bacon for the carbonara which was okay over all.

The Margherita pizza that I order was excellent! I was by myself therefore 1/2 of it was taken back with me. It was very fresh & tasty!

When we arrived on a late afternoon, we waited about 10 minutes before getting seated. To start off, we got the Limoncello Spritz (€10) and Aperol Spritz (€10), which were refreshing. For our pasta, we ordered the Fettuccine with Oxtail (€18) and Carbonara (€17). We also wanted to order two more Secondi dishes, but the waiter warned us that the pasta is filling. After we finished the pasta, we did still order the Rabbit (€19) because it wasn't something we usually see on the menu. For the carbonara, the flavor was delicious but not really my favorite pasta shape. It was also quite al dente with a chewy texture. I have to say that the oxtail was spectacular though with its juicy and tender meat sauce. While the rabbit was nice to try once, it was a bit dry with minimal meat. Overall, good spot but nothing worth waiting too long for. Also, I'd stick to the pasta here as it's all handmade. You even see them handrolling them inside. Note that they also charge €2 per person for service fee already.

From the food to the experience, this place is a must when you're in Rome. I'd come back again and again without hesitation.

Our hotel manager had suggested another restaurant, but I was apprehensive to try, but did later, more on that restaurant review in it's own post. I rather did what I should have done throughout the trip to, which is to search google for local reviews. This tactic I found to be much better than to trust American reviews for restaurants to visit from Youtube or even here, just because the American touristy taste tends to favor bland or Olive Garden style pseudo Italian. The real Italian taste is much different and something one needs to develop. I was familiar with European Italian food, as I had said before in other reviews that Mexico has better Italian food outside of Italy. Additionally, the good restaurants here in Italy do not open before 7 PM. If it does or if someone that looks foreign to Italy is outside trying to lure you in, it's a tourist restaurant with iffy flavor. At this restaurant my husband had the Lobster pasta and I had the spinach/ricotta ravioli, and we both were beyond satisfied. We also had the artichoke as an appetizer, and trusted the waiter with his suggestion for a bottle of wine. He must have been some genius because the wine went well with our meal. The ambience was cozy and very family oriented, however, the rain outside made it romantic for us. Another key point for this restaurant and it traditional flare was that they brought out the olive oil and red vinegar for our salad and of course olive oil for our wonderful home-made bread. I'm so glad we chose this place for those of us Americans who understand culinary cuisine.
