The decorations in there are super cute - underwater / boats / sea life themed. They even had cool doors that looked like that of a ship. The place was very clean and well organized. Every table had a roll of paper towels which was much needed after handling the delicious seafood. We split the Luscious Special Boil (I believe) and it was the perfect amount for the 8 of us! They split it into 2 plates to split more easily and it was perfect! Everything had amazing flavor and we left satisfied. We will definitely be back! One note - if you have a larger group, make sure to call in for a reservation to ensure they can accommodate you.

I had been trying to get us here for several weeks and now the stars have finally aligned! ( I did not want to cheat my gal out of this 1st time experience by having it alone. We Had So Much FUN!) Dang! I am so glad that I waited! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted and asked if we had been to KC before? ("No, but highly recommended by my employer!") Ryan, (mgr.) asked us to pick a table and would be by to explain how the menu is set up and works! (Great so far!) Staff , (and patrons as we looked around on our way to the table) were all smiles and truly looked like they were enjoying themselves! The dishes on the tables were well-presented and VERY appetizing to see! (Great Again!) At least 20 patrons were already tucking in and enjoying the heck out of the food and themselves! (most wearing plastic bibs and gloves.) A half minute after we were seated, a pleasant young lady came by with ice-water .(she and others checked back often enough to check on us.) We were both giddy at the prospect of choices offered. It took some minutes to decide after carefully looking over the menu. (So many wonderful choices! Too many, OMG I want ALL of it! ) We decided on menu item Combo 3 ( for this visit) . It consisted of : 2 cluster of snow crab legs 1 whole lobster 1 lb crawfish 1 lb head on shrimp 1 lb green mussels 1/2 lb sausage 5 corns, 5 potatoes for $99.99 (They cheerfully substituted 2 lobster tail for the whole lobster! :D We were DELIGHTED! ) We also ordered a sticky-rice (3.50) and an order of Thien's Fries, pronounced Tea-en, (Ryan kindly helped me here as it is not phonetic.) for 7.99. They are loaded with cheese, sauce, seasonings and bits! Delicious! Nearly a meal in itself! We had to stop eating the large portion of fries so we had some room left for the sea-food! .....and it came....on to the platter....erm...tray...erm ..barrel-top? (22 min from initial ordering), everything is hot, steaming, fresh and wonderful!) It was a Perfect Sea-food heaven! :D After taking in the beautiful sight of this Enormous tray, Carrie and I cracked and pealed and shared bites and ate our way to to complete satisfaction! (Men, show your love and bring your gal here and order #3! :D) Our tray was still quite full when we were done and we left with multiple meals that (Ryan carefully bagged up!) we can enjoy tomorrow! Thank you, Thien, Ryan and staff, for a memorable (and will often be repeated) experience! We Love King Cajun! Sincerely, JoeZ and Carrie (by the window :) )

Even though I came early in the afternoon and the place wasn't packed yet, the atmosphere was still welcoming, with a "come as you are" kinda feel. The staff? Super friendly and laid-back. You could tell they love what they do, and it makes all the difference. I ordered a large margarita and listen, it was hitting! Strong, fresh, flavorful.. one large is truly all you need. For food, I went with the chimichangas, and they were everything. Crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside 10/10, no notes. Definitely planning to come back, maybe during a livelier hour to see it in full swing. But even on a quiet afternoon, this place left a solid impression. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Just note that they require a credit card to hold reservations made online. For drinks, I ordered the Papelon, which is their cane sugar drink. I remember really loving this the first time I had it. This time it was a little more tart and less sweet than I remembered, with a deep maple-y, tamarind flavor. Definitely recommend trying it. We also got a pitcher of the red sangria, which was really good. For apps, I went with the Trio de Arepitas and seafood empanadas. The trio came with shredded beef, reina pepiada (creamy chicken), and beans with plantains. Overall, it was a good way to try a few different flavors. The arepas were surprisingly filling because of the bread. The veggie linguini El Avila was also really good, with lots of fresh, crunchy vegetables. The seafood empanada was my favorite! It had a crunchy, deep purple shell with a flavorful seafood filling, and the creamy sauce was so good. Overall, I think Crasqui is worth trying, especially if you like trying different flavors and dishes. The apps are a little smaller for sharing, and the mains are pretty pricey in my opinion.

Probably cannot tell from the picture but the rice unfortunately seemed more like a short grain/sticky rice than long grain basmati which is the norm at all the other Indian places around town and everywhere.
