The Perfect Pistachio Martini is SO good. And little did I know, we were there for happy hour, and…read moreit was only $7. I usually wouldn't give a place 5 stars if I was just there for a drink, but this pistachio martini was just too good, and I'm still thinking about it days later. And the interior of this place was cool. I want to come back the next time I'm in town. I got the Banana Bread Espresso Martini because I was interested... hadn't heard of it before. But it was just okay. It was kind of watery, and mine had pieces of ice in it. I guess it was just hard to go from the creaminess of the pistachio one to the more bitter banana bread one. All in all, cool place, great happy hour prices, and really delicious, unique pistachio martini! Go here even just for that. See ya next time; thanks for having me!

A cozy, conversational, gem nestled in the quaint downtown of Cuyahoga Falls! This place is not…read moreyour traditional bar; it's a cocktail-forward, date night, girls night kind of joint with low lighting and eclectic, timeless adornment. To note: it's a small place and reservations are imperative. They don't allow standing room in order to keep the intimate feel, so plan ahead. I've been able to walk in and grab a seat at the bar, but this place is in high demand and frequently fills up. There's a 2hr time limit on tables to ensure a higher volume of patrons may indulge these unique, craft cocktails and award winning bites.

From the outset, the event organizer demonstrated remarkable professionalism and support, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The venue provided a perfect balance of privacy while still allowing guests to enjoy the lively atmosphere. The food was abundant and delicious, complemented by an attentive and friendly staff. I asked what kind of bourbon they had and was read a list of alcohol that wasn't bourbon. I finally just asked for a Woodford and ginger ale. My friend asked for a Jameson straight up. She got ice and I received a drink in a cup without ice (straight up). My drink tasted strange, so I thought maybe it was just warm or the type of ginger ale they used. Couldn't find our waitress anywhere so I walked up to the bar to get a cup of ice. When I poured my drink into the plastic cup with ice, I saw the culprit. SUDS. I was given a glass that had soap not rinsed out. I thought the original 'foam' was the soda but then realized the ginger ale was FLAT and the suds were soap. Waitress finally came back and I ordered a beer instead and sent it back. Then we ordered some appetizer which was less than stellar. Sorry kids but we won't be back.

Had a wonderful evening dining at the Diamond Grille!…read more The ambience was lively, and the service was exceptional. Started out at the bar and ordered a Manhattan. It was ice cold and perfectly crafted. We were then sat at a booth where we enjoyed our meal. Two people in the group ordered steaks that were prepared exactly as ordered. I had the salmon grilled, and it was delicious! We also had wines by the glass and another perfectly crafted cocktail (French 75). I recommend this restaurant and can't wait to come back! * don't forget to bring cash-- it's the only form of payment that is accepted!

Don't get me wrong: the food is fine (in the most mediocre sense). Full disclosure: We don't eat red meat, so I can't comment on their steaks, which is what the place is known for. This is a classic case of tradition masquerading as fine dining. There's no subtly or nuance to the cuisine. The oysters Rockefeller was overly sauced, and the salad was overdressed. My salmon was a bit overcooked, but the baked potato was very good. The dessert, a brownie with ice cream, ate like a Little Debbie squirted with Hershey chocolate sauce. I will say that our server was wonderful and was working very hard. The ambiance, however, was sad. We were seated in the bar area on very uncomfortable wooden benches. Honestly, it felt like a Cracker Barrel. At the bar was an obnoxiously loud man dropping F-bombs and saying homophobic things. He pretty much ruined any enjoyment we had a hope of having. Finally, Diamond Grille doesn't accept credit cards, which we knew, but again, our enjoyment was dampened by having to keep track of how much everything cost so we didn't spend more than the cash we had gotten out of the ATM on our way. The hostess told us they were planting their feet and never taking cards, and I just don't understand why, in the 21st century, a business would alienate customers like this. All in all, this place is resting on its past reputation, and in my opinion, it's unearned.
