    Butter lamb, rice, garlic naan
    Rodney W.

Stopped by Bombay Grill today because I've been craving Indian food. I normally eat at an Indian takeout joint by my office, but since I haven't been to my office since St Patty's Day, I'm going on six months with no Indian food. That's not acceptable! I love Indian food, but my family doesn't. I went for a long bike ride today and after, I had plenty of time to stop and eat that which I love. Today, I was looking at the menu because they don't have a lunch buffet due to COVID-19. I saw Butter Chicken on the menu and I remembered how good it was at other Indian restaurants. I then wondered if they would make me Butter Lamb or Butter Goat. Well, I decided to order Butter Lamb and she said that was fine. I also ordered some garlic naan and a glass of ice water. She asked me if I wanted it mild, medium, or hot and since I've never been here before, I went with medium. A few minutes later, my meal was served in individual bowls. I mixed it all together and crammed it into the naan like a sammich. I don't know how to say this politely, but THAT SHIT WAS GOOD! I will definitely be back to try some Butter Goat. This was a helluva good meal and I want it again. The medium heat was just right for me. The meal was $26 with tip, which is damn pricey. But this is the closest Indian restaurant to my home, so that makes it one of my bestest buddies. I will return!

Ate here tonight, after work, for something different. Glad I chose to eat at Bombay Grill! Very flavorful and delicious homemade Indian food. Very fresh too! We began with naan bread, plain garlic and onion and ordered the mango chutney. This is the best mango chutney I've ever had. We liked the onion naan the best. There was a little mango chutney left, so I put it on some of the meat I had with my tandoori mixed grill. Yum!!!! Two of us, which includes me, ate the mixed grill. It was delicious! The different meats were prepared well and seasoned perfectly. The shrimp was my favorite. All of the different meats were really good too, but I would have preferred the chicken breast meat to be a little more moist. Don't get me wrong, this was still a freshly prepared dish that I enjoyed eating very much. The other person with us ordered buttered chicken with rice. I took a taste and this was an excellent dish. Perfect balance of chicken and sauce with the rice portion! Seasoned just right. The staff was super nice and very attentive. We were thanked for our business, and ended up taking home some leftovers. Good sized portions here. So happy I ate here tonight and am planning to go back soon.

I don't want to name the other restaurants with a similar cuisine and advertise for them. Among the 3 Indian restaurants in this area, this was the worst. It says on the menu, the Chicken Biryani is supposed to come with raisins, nuts and garnished cilantro. It had the garnished cilantro. But I didn't find any raisins or nuts like their menu said. May be I am being knit picky. The Chili chicken was okay. I thought Chili chicken was supposed to be spicy. Granted I ordered the mild version. But I wasn't expecting it to be sweet. I don't want to pass a judgement on the place right away. I ordered Chicken mancharían to go. May be, that will change my opinion. I will change my rating if I find the chicken Manchuria satisfying. Leaving the restaurant now....

My first time here and I loved it! Stopped by to sample the buffet for lunch and got to try several things like the Butter Chicken. After trying it, I know why it's a popular favorite! They have vegetarian and vegan choices, too, that are delicious alternatives to those who don't eat meat. I'm so glad to have a great Indian restaurant close to home!

Pleasant evening at this quiet dinner spot. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was reasonably priced. Not as flavorful as some Indian food I've had but it was pleasant. I had the Palak Paneer and Naan.

Second time we have been here. The food is so yummy and the customer service was great. It took a bit of time for our food but worth it.

I really liked this restaurant and plan to come back soon. We tried the mango chicken and a lamb and shrimp biryani. Both were incredible.

I'll divide this review up into 4 sections to make this easier to read!…read more Food: I ordered the Curry Leaf Chicken, Butter Chicken, water, and the Apricot Delight! The Curry Leaf Chicken, even if it was a little out of my spice range at mild, was absolutely delicious with so many nice earthy, warm flavors and was really filling so if you're going to order this, make sure you have a very empty stomach to eat your entrée as well! Unfortunately, the Butter Chicken wasn't to my liking, not because I thought it was bad since this is a very popular Indian dish that would be very hard to mess up, but because I wanted to try something new and found out I simply didn't like sweet chicken, which is what this tasted like. So if you like those mixes this could be for you! There wasn't anything to note of about the rice I actually got for free but that honestly makes sense since it's meant to be eaten with their other, much more flavorful foods. The real star of the show however, was the Apricot Delight, do not miss out on this if you ever come! Not only was the presentation of this so cute (unfortunately I forgot to catch a pic) but after taking a bite to see how it tasted, I couldn't stop myself from taking a few more before leaving (I planning on taking it to-go to save for when I got home) because of how perfectly sweet, spongy, and milky it was! Service: Even though there was only 1 lady present, she really made me feel welcomed and even gave me a whole experience by putting on some of her favorite songs for me to listen to! She also is a great person to get recommendations from since she helped me pick my Curry Leaf Chicken as my appetizer! Not only that, but because I told her about my experience with my Butter Chicken, she paid for an extra order of my Appetizer to-go for me to take home! Overall she was a really sweet and pleasant person to be around! Interior: As you can see from my pictures, not only was the interior extremely clean and well-kept but the design was so beautiful in my opinion and I could really tell the restaurant put a lot of love and thought into their design! Who I'd Recommend this Place To: If you're looking to take a partner to a date in a restaurant where it's cozy, private, and not too loud, and you both have a love for spicy foods bursting with many flavors, then this place is for you! If you are an introvert that'd like to eat without feeling too crowded or feels too claustrophobic with a very accommodating server, then this place is for you! Finally, if you're looking for a new local business to support instead of another billion-dollar company then this place is definitely for you! Last Thing: This isn't a buffet, it's just a humble restaurant like any other, so please do not be misled when you come!

As an American, medium spice means something different to me than it does to an Indian…read morerestaurant...but that's a failing on my taste buds and capsaicin receptors. A bright, cheery setting with an Al fresco offering and a beautiful table spread makes you feel like royalty. We each ordered something different and there were positives and negatives for each. The tandoori chicken was good but the texture was a little off-putting. The goat fry biryani tasted incredibly unctuous and meaty, but was surprisingly light. The issue, however, is that it was cooked on the bone and said bones were left in the dish (same with the chicken biryani). Having to fight getting the meat off the bone was a chore, but the occasional bone sliver in a rice dish made for a less than pleasant eating experience (and a dangerous one at that). Finally, the cashew chicken was delightful, but even ordered mild, it was painfully spicy. The food came out at different times, like 5-7 minute intervals for each diner and the pacing was....hmm....let's say it was not concerned with speed...at all...even a little bit. For the money, it was worth the price as the portions were gigantic. The real question...would I go again? If I'm out that way and want Indian cuisine...sure. Would I go out of my way...not so much.
