Food was not very authentic, and very small portions for 20 plus dollar prices. Asked for med spice and didn't have any heat. Great for people who may have more bland pallets but not for someone after true flavor. read more

The restaurant is located in a huge building. The atmosphere is very pleasant. Food is quality is not the best. I only tried veg dishes. Loved the tea in buffet. Service was ok but have to call servers several time. read more

Second time we have been here. The food is so yummy and the customer service was great. It took a bit of time for our food but worth it.

Place was empty, but service was fine , it was pricey compared with the portions served, would not come back

Stopped by Bombay Grill today because I've been craving Indian food. I normally eat at an Indian takeout joint by my office, but since I haven't been to my office since St Patty's Day, I'm going on six months with no Indian food. That's not acceptable! I love Indian food, but my family doesn't. I went for a long bike ride today and after, I had plenty of time to stop and eat that which I love. Today, I was looking at the menu because they don't have a lunch buffet due to COVID-19. I saw Butter Chicken on the menu and I remembered how good it was at other Indian restaurants. I then wondered if they would make me Butter Lamb or Butter Goat. Well, I decided to order Butter Lamb and she said that was fine. I also ordered some garlic naan and a glass of ice water. She asked me if I wanted it mild, medium, or hot and since I've never been here before, I went with medium. A few minutes later, my meal was served in individual bowls. I mixed it all together and crammed it into the naan like a sammich. I don't know how to say this politely, but THAT SHIT WAS GOOD! I will definitely be back to try some Butter Goat. This was a helluva good meal and I want it again. The medium heat was just right for me. The meal was $26 with tip, which is damn pricey. But this is the closest Indian restaurant to my home, so that makes it one of my bestest buddies. I will return! read more

So I'm not going to be nearly as harsh in my review as most of the low-raters on here. This place is a very solid three for me. When I came in at the dead middle of dinner time, they were completely empty, save for the one woman waiting tables (mine) and the one guy in back cooking. I started my order with veggie pakora. They were fresh fried and hot; they came out with some flavorful chutneys. A good start. I ordered mattar paneer for my main dish. I always get mild at Indian restaurants. In this case it came out completely bland. No saltiness, no umami, no spice. Maybe a touch on the sweet side. It came with white basmati rice, adding nothing to the overall flavor where a little jazzing up could have gone a long way. I even sealed the deal with mango lassi, itself rather lackluster. So that's where I stand. I might also agree with other reviewers by saying this is actually one of the worst Indian restaurants I've been to. Strong advice - add some spice but keep the price. More flavor will make it actually worth it. In the meantime, I'll explore other Indian options in the area. read more

Ate here tonight, after work, for something different. Glad I chose to eat at Bombay Grill! Very flavorful and delicious homemade Indian food. Very fresh too! We began with naan bread, plain garlic and onion and ordered the mango chutney. This is the best mango chutney I've ever had. We liked the onion naan the best. There was a little mango chutney left, so I put it on some of the meat I had with my tandoori mixed grill. Yum!!!! Two of us, which includes me, ate the mixed grill. It was delicious! The different meats were prepared well and seasoned perfectly. The shrimp was my favorite. All of the different meats were really good too, but I would have preferred the chicken breast meat to be a little more moist. Don't get me wrong, this was still a freshly prepared dish that I enjoyed eating very much. The other person with us ordered buttered chicken with rice. I took a taste and this was an excellent dish. Perfect balance of chicken and sauce with the rice portion! Seasoned just right. The staff was super nice and very attentive. We were thanked for our business, and ended up taking home some leftovers. Good sized portions here. So happy I ate here tonight and am planning to go back soon. read more

Service was great and their butter chicken is literally heaven. My 2 year old absolutely loved it. Highly recommend.

Terrific food! I ordered the chicken korma with garlic naan, and it was great. Service was top-notch.

I don't want to name the other restaurants with a similar cuisine and advertise for them. Among the 3 Indian restaurants in this area, this was the worst. It says on the menu, the Chicken Biryani is supposed to come with raisins, nuts and garnished cilantro. It had the garnished cilantro. But I didn't find any raisins or nuts like their menu said. May be I am being knit picky. The Chili chicken was okay. I thought Chili chicken was supposed to be spicy. Granted I ordered the mild version. But I wasn't expecting it to be sweet. I don't want to pass a judgement on the place right away. I ordered Chicken mancharían to go. May be, that will change my opinion. I will change my rating if I find the chicken Manchuria satisfying. Leaving the restaurant now.... read more

My first time here and I loved it! Stopped by to sample the buffet for lunch and got to try several things like the Butter Chicken. After trying it, I know why it's a popular favorite! They have vegetarian and vegan choices, too, that are delicious alternatives to those who don't eat meat. I'm so glad to have a great Indian restaurant close to home! read more

My wife and I stopped in for date night after I had confined her to try Indian food for the first time. The restaurant itself was tucked away and a little hard to find. It's was during covid so we had the place to ourselves. The decor was upscale, but the atmosphere was just a little off. The kitchen music was loud and competing with the dining room music that made it a bit unsettling. They did seem to be busy with a bunch of take out orders while we were there. The good was good, being that it was my wife's first time we stuck with Tikka Marsala and naan. They have so many naan's to choose from. Soo good!! I recommend a visit. read more

When I say this is some of the best food I have ever eaten, I mean it. We always get meat samosas, chicken tikka masala, and garlic naan. Pretty much the most basic as far as Indian food is concerned. I always want to try different things (the tandoori chicken sounds amazing) but this combo my wife and I have landed on is just so incredible I could never imagine getting anything else. We got it 2 times in one week one time, it's that good. Thank you Bombay Grill. read more

Pleasant evening at this quiet dinner spot. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was reasonably priced. Not as flavorful as some Indian food I've had but it was pleasant. I had the Palak Paneer and Naan. read more

Found this close to my hotel and love Indian food so wanted to give it a try. Was not disappointed. Great flavor and fresh food but I seriously would come here just for the breads. Tried the roti and whole wheat paratha and both were awesome. Very friendly and welcoming folks. Definitely will go back soon. read more

I really liked this restaurant and plan to come back soon. We tried the mango chicken and a lamb and shrimp biryani. Both were incredible.

Food is very good and customer service is excellent! This is a family own business but due to medical reasons they don't wear masks. And sometimes they randomly close due to church so id call In prior to going in! read more

I try to be positive in my reviews however this one is tough. I will say the lady at the front is very friendly and very accommodating. The food......after eating Indian food around the world I believe this has got to be at the bottom. Only thing I can think of is completely americanized. No flavor at all. The biryani for example was simply rice with some red coloring. read more

I've been to Bombay Grille twice now, and all I can say is the food and the service here are unmatched! If you want to be surrounded with a welcoming environment and unmatched hospitality come here!!! read more

Staff was very friendly. 5/5 Ordered my food spicy. They made a pretty big deal about how hot their food was, seemed average to me. 4/5 Chicken Makhani was solid, I'm used to a bit more cream / butter in mine to cut the acidness of the tomato, Maybe they mixed it up? The basmati rice was super plain. Again I'm accustomed to a bit of seasoning. 3/5. Garlic Naan was good, no issues. 5/5 read more

I stopped by here for dinner around 6:30pm. The restaurant was clean and nice, but there were about 4-6 customers. I got seated right the way, and the waiter was really nice and friendly. There're also tables outside of you want to sit outside and enjoy the weather. I ordered a lamb curry dish which came with white rice, which costed $18.00. I also ordered some garlic naan bread on the side, which costed about $3.50. While waiting, I counted about 5 customers came in to pick up their food. So I guess they do well with take-out. When the waiter brought out my food, the portions looked small but they actually filled me up. I was really disappointed because there wasn't much lamb in my curry. In addition, the curry was watery and didn't have much flavor. It was pretty plain, and the more I ate it, the more it tasted like tomato soup instead of curry. The white rice was normal. The garlic naan bread had cilantro and some garlic on it. It was decent, not the best garlic naan bread I've had. In conclusion, I'm a big fan of Indian food, and I've had Indian food from many different restaurants, but this one prob was the worst. The price of the lamb curry was a little high for its quality. I would recommend you try other dishes instead of the lamb curry. read more

I am BEYOND disappointed at this restaurant. I came to this place once before and was pleased with my experience. However, I came back to eat this morning at 11:30 (online it says they open at 11:30 and on the maps said 11am) and no one was there. I called/waited in the parking lot for 15 minutes and not a single person was around or answering the phones. There were also different #'s on the maps app and on google. Just super disappointed and probably won't be coming back. read more

The food is made fresh and is excellent! The service was very good and friendly. We went for dinner right when it opened, and no one was there until 5 on the dot, so that's my only small complaint. The garlic naan is probably the best I've ever had! read more

Best Indian restaurant ever. Phenomenal. Chicken biryani chicken tikka masala and naan make the perfect combo. Never disappoints.

Food was very good. I had a delicious butter chicken. On the downside, the restaurant was closed when we got there which was a half hour after they were supposed to open. As we were getting ready to leave the owners--I'm assuming--pulled into the parking lot and said they would open immediately. I was a little doubtful as they advertise a lunch buffet. Well, the buffet was not open but we were able to order from the menu and, like I said, it was very good. Only one other person came in for lunch while we were there. I hope they make it. Maybe they are busier for dinner/ read more

I love the Bombay Grill! The chicken tikka masala is the best I've had anywhere!! Their prices are fair, the service is friendly and fast, the restaurant is clean and the food is GOOD. Do yourself a favor and come visit! 4/13/17: they moved to 117 MERZ BLVD, FAIRLAWN read more

I went on a Saturday afternoon hoping for a variety of vegetarian dishes in the buffet, but was disappointed. So had to turn to the a la carte. Ordered the malai kofta and a mango lassi, both of which were a delight to the palate... a subtle taste and good consistency. The only reason this falls short is because the price does not do justice to the quantity. Having spent as much, I was expecting a bit more. Also, adding some Indian music and decor will surely add some heat to this grill! read more

I ordered from this place to go. The food is fabulous especially the butter chicken and the rice. My wife loved the Tikka Masala and the samosa, even though the samosa was super spicy, which I don't mind but she does. All and all the food was great and we will order from this place again. P.S : medium spicy is hot. read more

We went there on a Saturday at 1 pm. There were very items and the quantity was even lesser. I don't understand why they had some chaat, it was horrible and the presentation was bad. I usually start with chaat, so I was disappointed already. The main course lacked flavor and the butter masala was too sweet. Biryani was not the aortic authentic indian biryani. So main course, sucked. Then the desert, it was basically flavored ice. Nothing was indian except the cinnamon in it. Very bad. read more
