This is the best Indian food in the area - I will gladly do the 20 minute drive to eat here. The food is fresh, so flavorful, and the portions are generous. The price point is pretty much perfect - this isn't cheap, but it is perfectly reasonable for the quality and quantity. The interior is modest. The dining area isn't classy, but it's clean and comfortable. The focus is clearly on food, not flash, and I appreciate that. The bathrooms could use slightly more attention, but they were far from scary. The staff are wonderful. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and were happy to answer questions. The owner was making rounds checking on customers which was very appreciated. To sum up: There are at least 5 well-reviewed Indian restaurants closer to me. What a gem! I dined at The Spice Delight for lunch and was truly delighted! I have driven past this unassuming strip mall (the one with Gray Mart) without noticing a "Fine North Indian Restaurant " tucked into it many times. Food, service and Indian music videos made my dining experience exceptional! Pretty delicious and great location if you live on this side of C. Falls or Munroe Falls. Theres not a lot happening in this area for food so pretty excited about this little gem. It's been open for over two years so I don't know why it took us so long. We order the butter chicken and palak paneer. Both were wonderful. They let you choose the spice level we did mild but could have done low or regular medium. They have 5 levels of spiciness which is nice especially if you're unsure or new to Indian food. They have a cute little dining room that looked nice if you wanted to eat in. I think we will next time. read more

Small restaurant in Munroe Falls. Really friendly staff answered questions, made suggestions and were attentive. The space is nothing special but the food was really good. I love Indian food, so it's up my alley. Three of us shared a few order of naan. My favorite was the garlic. I can't pass up naan. I ordered mango chicken. Really delicious and with good heat. The fresh mango was a great addition. My friends shared his lamb vindaloo and raved about the flavor I'll definitely return to try another dish. read more

Good fresh pakoras ( try with the garlic mint papadam sauce! ) To be picky: it is a bit expensive (cheapest dish $14, lamb dishes $20) the loud Indian MTV can be a bit much and it can be hard to drag the staff away from it, lol; the water is not palatable and always has junk floating in it; and strangely, they seem to have a policy of only giving you bills back for change, never coin, even if it's almost a dollar's worth. We got take out from The Spice Delight tonight and it was absolutely delicious. My fiancée is gluten free and everything was marked on their online ordering with a "G" to indicate that it was in fact gluten free. The service was excellent and extremely helpful as I waited for my food to be prepared. The food was piping hot even after my 10 minute drive home as well. As an appetizer we got PANEER PAKORA (6PCS) and VEG PAKORA (7PCS). We got CHICKEN (BUTTER) MAKHANI, CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA and CHICKEN SHAHI KORMA as our entrees. I highly recommend all of these meals! Since I last reviewed about a year ago, I've tried the Spice Delight a couple more times, and each time has been very impressive. First, they are one of the few restaurants that will actually serve you an Indian Hot spiced meal, so if you're a heat-seeker, this is the place for you. I've enjoyed chicken vindaloo, chicken madras, and aloo gobi. I still have my eye on the malai kofta! The freshness here--especially in veg. dishes--is really unmatched by other places in the area, and the Spice Delight has now quickly become my favorite spot. Really delicious! I got the mango chicken and my husband got the chicken vindaloo. We also got the paneer naan and onion stuffed naan, also really good. My only suggestion is that they give more rice with two entrees. Otherwise, the flavors and spice levels were perfect! The service was fast and friendly, and the food was delicious. Vegetable Samosas were hot and crisp , with a nicely flavored filling. For my entree, I opted for Chicken Vindaloo, Indian hot, and it didn't disappoint. It left my tongue tingling,and a fine sheen of perspiration across my forehead. Really excellent food , the decor is nothing fancy but the staff was super friendly Cannot emphasize enough how nice and polite the staff is. The vegetable samosa dipped in the chutney was very tasty. Tikka misala was outstanding flavor , the garlic naan very light and very very delicious. Baigan Bharta was a new dish for us , eggplant tomatoes onions and peas and was our favorite ! We ordered it medium spice I think they offer American mild medium etc and Indian mild medium etc bc it was a nice level of spice not too hot ( I suspect Indian hot would be several degrees spicier lol ) The staff was really friendly , if you want some legit Indian food check them out (also offer Himalayan and Nepali ) read more

Our family of five ate here after attending a Christmas Market in Tallmadge. This was THE BEST Indian food we've ever had, and we've been to many Indian restaurants over the years. We all ordered different dishes and spice levels. Everything was beyond our expectations. The sauces were thick and delicious, and the meat quality was excellent. We had garlic and paneer naan, mattar paneer, butter chicken, chicken korma, chicken tikka masala, and mushroom masala. All were delicious, and spice level's were exactly as we had requested. The service was friendly and they got everything right. We all wish we lived closer to Spice Delight so we could regularly dine here. Although it's about 40 minutes away from us, we plan to visit again. Wish we had leftovers, because we can't stop thinking about how delicious our meals were. read more

Holy crap! Believe the reviews - just got some food from here and it's the best Indian I've had in a long time - at least in NE Ohio. Got delivery so it wasn't even fresh - vegetable Korma. So tasty, not overly relying on heavy handed spices or extra cream, just extremely tasty and really just perfect. Kept it simple and just ate it with the provided rice (which was very nice) along with some Raita. Raita was excellent and very fresh/lively tasting as well. A no hesitation 5* rating. read more

We're always on the lookout for good Indian food and we certainly found it here! Our party of 4 all had different entrees and each one was excellent. Sometimes tandoori proteins can be dry, but here the chicken & shrimp were done perfectly. The rice in the biryani was moist and tender. We all requested mild spice and each dish was flavorful, but not hot. The service was great. We weren't rushed at all.
