The portions were great but the spice level i asked for on the biryani was flame throwingly off. I could not enjoy it being that hot. I had to throw it away. The chicken tiki Marsala was really salty. When added with the rice that obviously help a lot but based on the biryani I do t no if I'd try it again; unless I have time to open it up in the small 2-4 car parking lot and taste it first. read more

The food is always amazing and flavorful. There have been only a small handful of times where the spices weren't on point, but overall 9/10 times it tastes amazing and fantastic. They do have a lunch buffet that alternates the type of regional dishes as well. The interior is fairly standard, nothing to write home about. Service is always friendly and prompt. I'm no expert in Indian food, but it's my all-time favorite cuisine, overall -- and I can say with confidence that Singh Biryani is the best Indian food I've had in the U.S. It is truly incredibly, in terms of freshness and flavor. While it's not open for dine-in, you can order by phone or online, and orders are always ready fairly quickly. The staff is friendly, and their chef deserves a raise because OH MY GOD, THE FOOD. Highly recommend the paneer tikka masala and the samosas -- but honestly, anything you get will be delicious. Decided to finally try this place after some friends were talking about it this past week. I ordered via DoorDash and got tandoori chicken and naan. The food is absolutely delicious but they forgot to include the rice that should have came with my meal. That was a bit of a let down but the flavor of everything I did get is phenomenal. I loved a place in Tallmadge called Global Kitchen but it closed last year. So it's great that this option is just as good!! I look forward to trying other dishes on their menu. read more

So, after reading the review about someone removing a fingernail from their MOUTH after taking a bite of food, I still cringingly ordered for my family because of the decent reviews. I will never order from here again. Firstly, I walked in and ordered, waited just over 40 minutes to take the food home. There was something disgustingly crunchy in my meal, not sure if it was in the butter chicken, chicken saag or the garlic naan but I pulled out what was in my mouth and it was the remnants of some kind of bug. I ordered mild medium and hot butter chicken and they all tasted the same. They varied slightly in color, but literally NO heat. NO spice at all. The reason I ordered three different ones is because we wanted to try the different types of heat. I ordered 4 garlic naan (not realizing they were an entire circle of naan, because others we have been to had small portions) and the middle was burnt and hard. Tasted old. Decided to eat the left overs because we spent $76 dollars on the meal, and don't want to waste our money, and just found this white/gray hair. My stomach is turning. So done. So disgusting. I didn't get a photo of the bug, but I should have. This place is so nasty I am appalled. Calling tomorrow when they open hoping for a refund. So awful. read more

The food was phenomenal! Prices were great and service was solid. I had the tandoori chicken and it blew me away. Everyone at our table loved everything from the appetizers to the dessert. I was very excited to try Singh Biryani because it's 5 minutes away from my apartment. The restaurant is definitely more of a takeout spot, but there are about 4 or 5 tables inside. I kept things basic with my first order--palak paneer ($9), chicken tikka masala ($9), and chili naan ($1.50)--all ordered at the medium spice level, which tasted mild to my palate (but still flavorful!). Everything was well-seasoned and tasted fresh. Service was accurate and friendly. For two entrees and bread, the total was around $20, which I think is a great value. I look forward to making this my regular go-to on nights when I don't feel like cooking and/or craving Indian. It's a great alternative to pizza or the chain fast casual spots. I am really new to Indian food. I tried it last weekend & I am hooked. It's so delicious. I ordered Samosas, which I loved. Then I got the Chicken Tikka Masala. Singh Biryani was so flavorful & there were so many huge chunks of chicken. This weekend I ordered from Rose Garden Indian restaurant & got the same exact thing for comparison. Samosas were very similar, but there was no contest when it came to the Chicken Tikka Masala. Singh Biryani ha d twice the amount of chicken & was so much more flavorful. Even though I am closer to Rose Garden, I will drive farther for Singh Biryani. For the money, it's a much more generous portion of meat & more flavor. read more

Its been a while me being busy(lazy) for not writing the regular reviews. This joint, I believe opened up almost the same time, when I started travelling tot Akron for work. Initially it did not showed up and then it was visible in nearby Indian restaurants. So one day we decided to give it a try and drove to the place realizing it was closed that day :(. Seems they are closed on Mondays. So next time we went on a Tuesday. Being first time there, I ordered very basic with Black Daal (lentils) and a plain Roti.The food was good and I decided to come back later for more to try. Next time, I ordered Chicken Kadhai and Yellow Daal(Lentils). Since that time onwards, it became our regular place for food. So far we have been there for almost 14-15 times and not a single time we were disappointed. Pretty much tried all of their menu items and even couple of dishes which are not even part of their regular menu like egg bhurji (masala scrambled eggs) and Punjabi Kadhi (Chickpea flour,butter milk, veg fritters curry). The food is consistent, place is small but neat and clean, staff is friendly and service is good. Its more of a takeaway joint than dine in. Very busy in evening with takeaway orders. If you are staying around, visit once at least and I am pretty sure you will return for more.Place well deserved to have 5 stars. read more

I am a huge Biryani fan and this one is my go to hidden gem. They have a full menu and if you are good friends with the chef, he can throw in your choices. Although dining is not the best, takeaways are mostly preferred. I go with a 7 spice level but will suggest newbies to start with 4 or 5 (lower the better). This was the first time I had Indian food and it DID NOT disappoint. I ordered quite a bit for the whole group to share. Our favorite was the Chicken Tikka Masala along with the Gobi Manchurian. The Chicken Curry and the Chana Masala were also very enjoyable and I would recommend. The Tandoori Chicken was not as strong in flavor as the rest but still great. Now for the Naan: AMAZING. Butter chicken was great and so was the half order of tandoori chicken. It had 4 pieces which is a lot for a half order. Great prices. Perfect spice level. I ordered several different items. All of it was very tasty and as expected. The only suggestion I have is to cook the goat longer to get it tender. This is probably the MOST DISGUSTING experience we've encountered while ordering food. I'm also uncomfortable with the fact that whoever cooked our food was obviously not wearing gloves in the middle of the pandemic. This place has amazing food. We ordered the samosa chhola app, eggplant masala and chicken korma entrees, as well as some garlic naan. All was perfectly seasoned/spiced/cooked. The service is friendly and helpful with explaining dishes and spice levels, as well as with making suggestions. Besides, Kent needs to step up the diversity of their food game. Tandoori chicken was so so good. Aloo gobi masala is a must. You can never go wrong with tikka masala. Kadhahi paneer was also a favorite. I wish Indian restaurants would offer a combo plate to make new dishes more accessible. Pick an app, main, veggie.
