Iced Coffee and Cold Brew
Kaitlin C.

I came here on a whim and arrived to a small line but crowded cafe. They had their menus high up on the walls with traditional coffee beverages, tea, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and a yogurt menu. I was sad to not see any specialty coffee/lattes. Although, the iced coffee and cold brew were good. The breakfast sandwich was the star of the show though, the Egg & Feta sandwich was perfectly balanced with greens, feta, fluffy egg and delicious bread. I was happy to see they had a few tables outside because inside was crowded and I was there alone and didn't want to take up an entire indoor table.

Chocolate Zucchini Cake

A good neighborhood coffee shop with a variety of coffee and tea drinks, pastries, and sandwiches. The chocolate zucchini cake was excellent - super moist and rich in flavor. The pepper biscuit breakfast sandwich was good, though a little under seasoned for me. The chia pudding was also good, but a little over-sweet. Service was fast and friendly. Overall, would recommend as a solid local option for a casual breakfast or lunch.

My order: Egg and Feta on gluten free bread, iced coffee, blueberry muffin (GF), matcha latte The Review: Headed to 3 Little Figs for a weekday morning breakfast with the fam. The vibes were great and the staff were really nice. The sandwiches were loved by all. There were options for everyone and tons of gluten free things. We followed it up with a little walk on the Somerville community path, and once we worked up an appetite, we had a crazy idea to go back for pastries and another drink! The iced matcha with soy milk was perfect on a hot day. If we can go twice in one morning, then it's a given that we will be back for more.

Market sandwich (half) - excellent flavor balance, great portion

Stopped by for a smoothie and some sandwiches to go and really enjoyed everything! Vibe: Small cafe with indoor and outdoor seating, note that there is additional indoor seating if you go back towards the kitchen and over. Service: Fairly quick while they were pretty busy Food: Pepper biscuit breakfast sandwich - was a small but dense and delicious breakfast. Market sandwich - delicious balance of ingredients, solid portion Chocolate shake - this was SO yummy and you wouldn't even know it had sweet potato in it! Value: Prices were good for the quality and quantity of food. Overall I loved everything I got and would definitely recommend and return again!

Market Sandwich, Matcha Latte, Lemon Cake

Cute little brunch spot! They are very busy and the space is small, so smaller groups are preferable. Really enjoyed their lemon cake - it was moist with a strong kick of lemon zest. The market sandwich's fig jam was a nice sweet contrast to the salty prosciutto. I only wish the bread wasn't cold and there was less goat cheese. Matcha lattes were pretty average. Staff were nice. The line moved quick and they were helpful with their recommendations.

Such a great spot!! Coffee is always perfect and all the baked goods are soo tasty! My favourite is the strawberry jam bar! Today I got a cortado and the pepper biscuit with cheese and egg! The sandwich was very tasty!

3 Little Figs is a cute cafe! It was super busy when I stopped in, but the line moved quickly. The staff is really nice too. I got the pepper biscuit, which was good but pretty average, and in my opinion not worth $8.00.

Egg & Feta Sandwich

There has always been a long line out the door here when we've walked by on weekends, and our visit was no different. Luckily, the line moved pretty fast, and we also got our food pretty quickly after. We originally wanted to dine in, but it was so crowded inside from the constant flow of people ordering and waiting near the counter that we decided to take out instead. "The market" sandwich (prosciutto, goat cheese, arugula, and fig jam on focaccia) was a perfect mix of sweet and salty flavors and a great portion size for just $11. The egg and feta breakfast sandwich (scrambled eggs, tomato, arugula, and feta on a brioche bun) was a lot smaller and less unique in flavors, but also good value at $7. I would come back for the market sandwich again and order ahead online for pickup!

Saturday morning was definitely a busy time to go, but we loved our experience here!! We came at the recommendation of multiple friends (one of which claimed this place houses the best barista-- EVER) This isn't a huge space, but they have a no computer rule, meaning people aren't lingering for forever which is nice! Sandwiches were yummy (excellent pepper biscuit) and the lavender biscuit was standout!! The black drip coffee had a fruity end note, but great complex flavor. The cortado, made to perfection, and the cold brew was nice as well! Pricing was reasonable for the area! All in all, we will be back!

Feta Toast, Market Sandwich, 4 oz Cortado

Super cute spot! Entering, it smells like freshly-ground coffee. Hard to find a seat on the weekend because it's so good. Even a simple toast is next-level tasty here.

Egg cheddar w/ sausage

Absolutely deserving of the Best Cafe in Somerville title! The line can be daunting but the staff work hard to keep it flowing and delivery high quality food and drinks! I doubt I'll ever be disappointed on any future visits. Food: The drinks were very refreshing and a great wake up jolt of caffeine. I was intrigued by the espresso soda and I was not disappointed. It was such a nice blend of fruity flavors that slide perfectly into a familiar coffee taste. The sweet ricotta toast and the egg cheddar sandwich were amazing! The sourdough and ciabatta were the stars and their great bready textures made for perfect vehicles. Service: The staff worked like a well oiled machine but still offered great hospitality! Atmosphere: The popularity does cause the cafe to be busy but everyone was very respectful of one another's space so it wasn't an overwhelming crowd. The decorations also added to the energetic atmosphere.

Market Sandwich with turkey

Amazing sandwiches with fresh made breads. I got the market sandwich and swapped out the prosciutto for turkey. I love the flavor combination of everything and it was a perfect ratio of filling to bread. Amazing portions especially for the price. Would definitely recommend!

Yummy food, good service, not a lot of places to sit. On the price of your side, but worth it.

A bright neighborhood gem. Immaculate latte and I will have dreams about their apple cider donut muffins for a long time.

Business was robust, and they were past 40 orders maybe a little over an hour into their day (which I noticed because they asked for my order number for confirmation). If I were rating portion size for price, this was not a huge sandwich, but realistically this is an expensive area. Rating quality, that was one mouthwatering vegan multigrain muffin, with a nice mix of toppings that delivered robust flavor in every bite of said sandwich. If I lived locally, I would have bought some more muffins.

A lot of orders are for pick up, and this is definitely the move if you want to avoid the wait. - G.O.A.T., (5/5): added a turkey sausage - delicious! egg was perfectly cooked and the English muffins were nicely toasted - Sausage McVinal, (4.5/5): so good. If you like a classic egg McMuffin, this is that but 10x better - Sam-I-Am, (4/5): after we tried the other to-go orders... we decided to try more. this tasted so good fresh, and the garlicky greens were a bit wet, but added a nice punchier flavor I would 100% come back here again, and I left with 2 types of English muffins (original and jalapeño corn) and they were GREAT. A simple cream cheese or salted butter spread, toasted is great. The texture is what sets it apart from other English muffins. I wish they lasted longer in the pantry. The shelf life is around 4-5 days, but then the solution would be to just have a constant shipment of them. Problem solved ;^)

Favorite dessert spot in the world and I travel all over and have an incredible sweet tooth!!…read more I come here every time I'm back in town - the most decadent pie (really a brownie in disguise) is the Mississippi mud pie. Since moving to Boston, I hardly see pie on the menu....well today I found a new pie place!!! As soon as I walked in I was met with friendly faces. The pastry counter was filled with fresh baked goods and they even had samples out. This is strictly a pick-up and go, it's not setup like a cafe with tables. I bought the banana cream for a work event and a few minis to take home for me and my hubby. The banana cream was good-admittedly, it was more on the sweeter side than I expected. I really enjoyed the crust - it wasn't too buttery and cooked perfectly. It was def a hit. My hubby and I enjoyed sampling the blueberry, apple, and cherry crumble. Of the three, the apple was my favorite which actually surprised me. The blueberry was OK, not as sweet as I would have liked - opposite of the banana cream. And the cherry was perfectly tart-I really appreciated the crumble. All in all, I will def be back. Can't wait to follow their social media to see what the monthly specials are. Street parking is tough, I rec parking in star market if you're quick. You can also order ahead for a quicker pickup and they deliver within a 6-mile radius as long as you place the order by noon the day before.
