We're already planning our 3rd trip back this year after Christmas. The bunny slope is just enough for me and my husband. Kiddo, if he wants to, can get in harder slopes. The staff are super friendly and will help you with your boots if you want (I always need help). The lift operators are super friendly. The grounds are very pretty with all that snow. Parking lot is very big and on some days they will guide you on where to park. Also, if you keep your lift card (we keep them in our gloves all year) they will be able to see your previous sizings and the gear you had last time. I think re-using your card also saves you something (like $15) but don't quote me. We always rent equipment there, and yes skiing is expensive but if your family only wants to do the bunny hills runs, the tix is cheaper ($30 as of 2025). The bunny hill(s) is long enough to feel like you've a great skier and conquered something until you see some little snowboarding 3 year old zoom passed you. But our motto at our age, is we leave with no broken bones. PS- The Lodge is right nearby and has amazing chicken fingers plus the hot chocolate hits! Love sitting by the big fireplace to relax and warm up for last run of the day. PPS- We made the mistake of skiing right after a major snowstorm and there was too much powder. We should have waited until the next day or at least gone later when the tracks were worked on/skied on.

We took a couple more runs and called it a day. Personally not a place I would come by myself. Terrain is not at my difficulty, and for the same drive I could be at bigger mountains. Curious, we rolled in one Sunday, about an hour before closing and let's just say, the surprise was real. The showroom is spotless. And that earthy teak scent lingered everywhere. The teak patio pieces were gorgeous- just priced a bit out of range. But we lucked out big time and scored a black metal patio set already rust-treated. A solid win. Service was outstanding. We spotted a floor model and liked what we saw. We'd asked if we could take it home- as long as they were willing to knock a little off the price for it being on display. They didn't blink. Regardless if you would like to rent, buy new gear, or buy used gear, I recommend you come here before you go anywhere else. A major tip- If you're looking to rent for the entire season, do not wait until peak season because they will likely be out of many rentals by then. Be sure to start the process of renting your skis earlier in the season. However, even if they're out of rentals, they have phenomenal sales on a lot of their ski equipment and it may be a better investment for you to buy from them. I can't stress how friendly, patient, knowledgeable and helpful the staff is. They're very thorough and helpful with all of their services. Highly recommend!

Not only did they decide to help, they went far beyond the level of customer service he had ever experienced. They didn't just help him find boots that fit, they also made sure the boots would work with his skis. When it turned out they didn't, they pushed all their appointments aside to make sure everything worked so he would not have to wait any longer and could continue his road trip, and so he would not have to deal with it at the resort and pay extra fees. My five friends and I went up to Jiminy Peak Mountain for a three day ski weekend. The rentals on…read morethe mountain are not only expensive but the equipment leaves something to be desired, especially in terms of boot quality. I called ahead to reserve skis, filled out the form, and emailed it in. On arrival, we parked in a big parking lot right behind the shop, walked in, and saw ALL of our gear ready to go, name tags and all! The owner couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. He made sure the boots fit everybody, and we were out of there within 15 minutes. The shop is exactly 10min from the mountain. The quality of the boots and skis were incredibly. You could tell 'Ski Fanatics' really takes care of their equipment. I have never worn, let alone rented, such comfortable boots in my life. Most importantly, the boots were warm!! Warmth on the mountain is paramount, every skier understands colds toes. Once we got loaded up, John, the owner, told us to give him a heads up if we were going to return the skis after hours. He lives down the road and was willing to open up the shop if we needed to come in later. Finally, during the return process, John came out and helped us quickly unload all of our skies and gears. Overall, the whole process couldn't have gone smoother. It was a true 5 star experience, start to finish. I recommend Ski Fanatics for all of your ski needs. No one in our group rented snowboards so I can't speak to them.
