I've been shopping at DSW for years, and overall it's still a solid place to find quality shoes…read morewith a wide selection. On my latest visit, I found exactly what I needed without too much hassle, which is always a win. That said, it feels like the discounts and deals that DSW was once known for have scaled back a bit. It used to be easier to find deeper markdowns or snag something under $50, but now you have to dig a little harder--and even then, the deals aren't quite what they used to be. The clearance section felt more picked over than usual, and the pricing structure can be a little confusing at times. Still, the store was clean, organized, and the staff was helpful. If you know what you're looking for and keep an eye out for rewards or promotions, you can still score a good deal--it just takes a bit more effort than it used to.

To preface, this review is not towards the Plainville store, as they have great customer service…read moreand friendly staff! However, I tried using a sale discount online about a month ago, but it excluded ASICS. I find it odd a shoe store would exclude a brand, but that's ok. ASICS are the most comfortable to me considering I have a heel spur, and one foot that had surgery. Just to offer my opinion to consider including ASICS, I sent a message to their customer service via email. The following day, I received a nice response from Yelena, acknowledging my inquiry and to please send them the pair I was interested in, along with my size and they would be happy to honor the sale. A few days later I replied along with a screenshot and the size. I reached out twice over the next couple of weeks and never received a response. I then sent a regular letter via mail requesting feedback. Zero response. I wasn't looking for exceptions to begin with, but why offer if you aren't going to back it up? I'm not sure how you simply ignore a customer, but that appears to have taken place here.

I have visited two in my state, and the Plainville store is by far my favorite! They have an amazing selection of boots, hats, belts, and clothes. I don't want to think about the amount of money I've spent here - lol - but it's been worth every penny! Their rewards program is excellent and the sales are great. My husband was thrilled when we came here and he found a decent selection of boots in his size, as he is a size 13 and many stores that we have been to rarely have more than a couple pairs available. The staff here is super friendly. They always greet you with a smile and are happy to answer any questions. My husband and I come here at least once a month, even just to browse. Highly recommend!

If you look up EbLens on google, Bush League is what comes up for people also search for. Look up…read moreBush League if you don't know What that means. If I could give this location a 0 star rating, I would. I went here for the Air Jordan VI release in February. Called the day before to confirm stock numbers, was told about 40 pairs in various sizes. Was 2nd in-line, go in and ask for size 12. I was told they're sold. To whom I ask, the employees. The biggest size was a 11.5. I feel like when someone calls, the stock is in, and if employees bought it, fine, how about tell the person calling in, that they're out a size. I waited for 3 hours. This location is awful, if buying any big sneaker seems rigged at times and like the odds are against you, this place is just as bad. As an update, I was able to get the same sneakers using the Nike app, as well as on Eastbay. So, while I'm still aggravated that I wasted my time here, I'm adding to my review after I took more time to reflect. And as proof that I'm not bitter. While doing this I remembered some years ago, I had won a raffle to buy a pair of either 4 or 5 retro Air Jordan. I went in, bought the shoes, went home and opened the box. Not until I got home did I notice a silver colored ink line on one of the shoes. About 4-5" long, and the thickness of a silver gel pen, as it was metallic. I called EbLens, they said I was out of luck. I ended up contacting Nike, sent them in, hoping it was a manufacturing issue. It wasn't, they sent them back. I was able to get the ink out, but it creased the leather. I ended up taking a loss on them and selling them on eBay. If you don't do your homework, ask the right questions, and still go here, don't be mad if they burn you. Yes, it's not a busy place, it doesn't draw huge crowds for sneakers, but it's shady business practices, and employees doing what they want. As their not under the watchful eye of a large correlate or district manager as the big sneaker stores are. How, do you not tell the customers, even with a sign on the door, that you're out of sizes before the shoes releases. I wouldn't be surprised in the least, if the employees held pairs for people coming in. I wished I had said something to the manager, I didn't, I just left because I was ticked off. I'll pass on EbLens, you should too.
