I was checking hours for the week because I need some shirts and decided to leave a review. I found Melluzzo's about 5 years ago when I was looking for a great suit for a work event. I'm not a normal body type guy, and buying designer stuff never fit right. Paul was awesome, rushed that first suit so I had it in time for the event, and it still looks great and is in style 5 years later. I've purchased a handful of suits and a dozen or so shirts. Just a warning...I'm writing this review in anger and frustration. My husband and I went to Melluzzo to buy a custom suit for our wedding last year. The owner was very nice and accommodating to everything my husband asked for. He is very meticulous and wanted to look top notch for our wedding so we decided to buy a custom shirt as well. The suit and shirt came in and all seemed fine. The shirt was very wrinkled when we got it so prior to the wedding day, I took the shirt to the cleaners, as the owner suggested, to have it "laundered, no starch." Got the shirt back and we were all ready for the big day. On the day of our wedding, my husband got all dressed only to realize that his very expensive, custom shirt wrinkles like a piece of tissue paper. He got in the car to drive to our venue and got out looking like he rolled out of bed in the shirt. He was frustrated and embarrassed. Why would ANYONE buy or wear for a shirt like this? We went back to Melluzzo a few months later to order a new shirt made of different material that doesn't look like garbage the second you put it on. We told the owner how disappointed we were with the first shirt. The owner acted like he had no idea what we're talking about. He suggested we wash the shirt at home and use starch when ironing it. Well, I just did that tonight and now I have a starched up piece of tissue paper on a hangar. No amount of starch could turn garbage into a nice shirt. My husband will NEVER wear this overpriced shirt again. We feel scammed and completely taken advantage of. My advice...steer clear of this place if you really want to look sharp for a special occasion. One final note, the suit was fine although it had a few odd pieces of white thread showing through the black fabric. I actually used permanent marker to color them to hide them.
