We left and went to men's warehouse in West Hartford and had a completely opposite experience. If you are in the market for a suit, skip this store and head to men's warehouse.

The suit's quality was extremely poor and felt grossly overpriced. Honestly, it didn't even look new -- I pointed out that it looked a bit dirty, and the sales lady just offered to steam it to "make it OK." After only one wear, the seam on the shoulder ripped. When I returned to the store to request an exchange, they came up with every excuse not to honor it and insisted on steaming the suit before they'd even consider fixing it. Overall, the customer service was terrible, and the pricing does not match the quality. I wouldn't recommend anyone shop here. It really felt like the store manager prioritized making money over maintaining the store's reputation.

With the holidays quickly approaching, there's plenty sparkly holiday gear, as well as "Ugly" Christmas sweaters. There's a nice variety of holiday decor for your home. Depending when I go, the line to checkout can be pretty long, but they have several cashiers working, so it's a pretty quick process.

As you would expect, this store had a lot of options. The man who helped us was very patient and took a lot of time to help my daughter find a pair of shoes she liked. She even used the treadmill a few times to make sure the shoes were comfortable for running. This place is not cheap, but the service is good and the goods are high quality. Finally a running store east of the River!!!…read more This is the third location that Sound Runner has opened in Connecticut, and after hearing so many wonderful things from my shoreline runner friends about this store I was happy to finally have a location close by. As soon as Mark C and I walked in we were greeted by an plesant employee asking how he could be of assistance. I was not in the market for a new pair of shoes but my husband wanted to try out a pair of Hoka Hoka One's which we were told the Glastonbury location carried. While Mark C was outfitted with not just a pair Hoka Hoka One shoes but several other options, I perused the store for things I "had to have". I was impressed with the location's tastefully lines walls and racks containing variety of men's and women's apparel and accessories as well as anything else you might need to make your run possible such as fuel and lighting. In the end Mark C ended up with a pair of shoes and I ended up with some "must have" items (socks and fuel), but I will definitely be back as the store starts getting the Run Club and Pub Runs underway.

We've visited their Simsbury store a bunch of times, and we saw pretty much the same selection of low priced goods here in Glastonbury - men's & women's clothing, shoes, household goods, artwork, books, toys, etc. We caught a 50% off sale on clothing yesterday, and I walked out with a $15 blazer for $7.50. Pretty sweet, eh? All proceeds go to charity (The Village for Families) and the store employees are all volunteers. The two women we interacted with were as nice and friendly as could be, we really enjoyed chatting with them. Bottom line? You can score some great bargains and support a worthy charity all at the same time.
