We had the mobile showroom come to my parents house, where John was able to measure all of the guys while we were in the comfort of our home. He even was able to work with our groomsmen who lived out of state and could not travel for the fitting. It was such an amazing experience to use the mobile showroom, which is absolutely stunning and such a creative idea! We even had our final fitting the week of the wedding with the mobile showroom! John went above and beyond for us and we could not have asked for a better experience! My husband loves looking back at the pictures and seeing how well his tux fit him. He especially loved the vest/ bowtie combo that John suggested for him. Even the groomsmen told us after the wedding that they have never felt so good/comfortable in a rental before using Modern Formals! We will definitely be using Modern Formals again and recommending them to everyone!

Day of try on/pick up I felt rushed. Maybe that was because I got there minutes before they were closing but I had called ahead of time and asked if it was ok to come so late. They had the opportunity to tell me to come the next day, and that would have been fine. Fast forward to our wedding day, one of my groomsmen had a 1.5" hole in the crotch area and another not only had a button missing from his vest but when he put it on another button fell off. At the end of the day he is selling a product. And for the almost 2000$ price I paid to rent 7 tuxedos I feel like the product was not up to par. When I told John about my issues he basically said we should have examined the suits ourselves. And offering a free tuxedo rental in the future. lol no thanks! I can only imagine the issues that tuxedo will have.

GHETTO. Old Navy used to be in the Townline Plaza on South…read moreBroad Street in Meriden. When it was in Townline Plaza, the store was bigger, there was a lot more as far as selection and the store was fairly clean. Since the move to the mall, this Old Navy has gone down hill quickly. 1) It's a smaller location. It's half the size of the Townline Plaza location and seemingly, there is half the merchandise and selection. Everything is cramped and crammed together. 2). The Old Navy in Townline Plaza had EVERYTHING. Jeans? Check. Work clothes? Check? Shoes? Check. Work out gear? Check. Casual clothes? Check. PJ pants? Check. Now the Meriden Mall location only seems to carry jeans and workout clothes. It's frustrating to see a wall of jeans and then a section for yoga pants and t-shirts with some really messy racks of clearance merchandise interspersed. I love Old Navy khakis for work but this location hasn't stocked khakis since the summer. 3) This place is DIRTY. There's dust and dirt EVERYWHERE. There are dustballs in the dressing rooms. There are piles of clothes in the dressings rooms because the staff apparently doesn't pick up the clothes on a regular basis. Clothing is sloppily hung on the hangers and on the racks. It's like shopping in a dollar store or flea market. 4) The staff is brain crushingly slow-speed wise and mentally. It does not take much to ring people out but even with all four registers open, there's always a line. Speed it up! Your 29.50 jeans are not worth the time spent in line to pay for them. I don't know if Old Navy is pandering to the high school demographic these days but this is a really disappointing store. If I want to go to Old Navy (and their jeans fit me the best, unfortunately), I'll go after work to West Hartford.
