Located on the Silas Dean Highway, it is part of a plaza offering places to eat, shop and relax including this huge Bed, Bath & Beyond. I haven't been in one of these stores recently and was blown away by the wall to wall, floor to ceiling stuff that they had. My sister and I came in here looking for replacement caps for her travel mug. Luckily she knew where she was going because I got lost quickly. Not far from the interstate, this is a place that you can come to if you need anything for your home. In terms of pricing, there are some competition around like Marshall's and TJ Max that may offer better or worst pricing for your items, so if you got the time shop around. I will say that you should utilize the stop lights whenever you can and luckily the plaza has one but there are some entrances and exits to the plaza that I would not recommend trying to cut across traffic during some times as the street is pretty busy. I always need to remember to plan to make extra time when coming here....so much household stuff to look at. You really just can't rush in and out of here. Plus, save all those coupons don't throw out the expired ones they will still take them. You can get anything here toiletries, cleaning products, Furniture, kitchen stuff galore, bathroom items, bedroom items and much much more! They carry Essie Nail Polish too! And pretty much have every color and current ones to. Ton's of lotions even some organic stuff. I can go on and on here.....some of you who have read my other reviews are probably nodding your heads....lol So, if your looking for something for your home or body this place is it. Jill was extremely helpful, incredibly understanding, genuinely polite and an absolute joy to deal with!! She has such an understanding of the Customer Service industry and takes such pride and commitment in the operation of her store in Hamden, Connecticut. A very large, clean and helpful store. This Bed Bath & Beyond has an expanded product assortment, including health care, toiletries, beauty care items and more. It seems like less than half of the locations have this extra extension. All of the staff here were very friendly. I was asked if I needed help grabbing an item from a top shelf. I was also told that I could use a 20% coupon on top of another discount. The male associate even came to the register to notify the cashier and tell her how to process the transaction. She was also very pleasant and helpful. The overall experience here was great. Not to mention the store was very clean and organized. Plenty of registers were open too, so there were no long lines. So this is the first time I'm rating a store. But this past holiday they actually made my month. Specially a store worker name Greg. The day after Black Friday my vacuum broke which I had just both this year. On the Saturday after Black Friday I went in asking for a solution. Hoping I could exchange it. Greg was so nice and patience working with another nice gentleman in returns handling me and every other customer that come. He was always with the best actitud. He tock he's time to make sure I got my vacuum replaced. After issues with the replaced he was there to make sure I didn't go home with out one. I though I was going to have to buy another one when I had just spend the money on my kids gifts. Holidays are tough, and he made my holiday a lot less stressful. Everyone in that store that helped me out was great. But Greg really made my holiday. read more

Pretty standard BBB. Best deals are the in-aisle scratch-n-ding. Most of the housewares items can be found at Marshalls or TJ Maxx for better prices, if you are patient and willing to wait and dig a bit. Linen selection is enormous! If you have really specific colors or fabrics you want, this is the place to go. I still don't understand why they decided to add the "CVS" section. It's not that great a fit with the chain and really doesn't offer any spectacular pricing. As they own Christmas Tree Shops, the "CVS" section added in there is even stranger. You can always count on finding As Seen on TV products here, and usually ones that can't be found at the local drugstore. I had a few cousins use the bridal registry. Supposedly, they had a great experience. I had a little more difficult of a time when using it for purchasing the gifts, but that might just be me. read more

Typically, I find what I need here. I always feel like I could find it for a lower price elsewhere, though. I do love the 20% off and $5.00 off coupons that come regularly to my home, and the fact that they honor the coupon after they expire! Lately I've been purchasing shampoos, conditioners, and body washes here because with the coupons you can get great deals! Also, they carry a vast array of flavors of Luna and Clif bars, which was a nice surprise to find! I come here for sheets, towels, and random home furnishings that I need (however, again, I use the coupons because I feel the prices are too high). This location is always clean and there are plenty of staff members to assist you if you need it. They also have a little clearance rack near the curtain area that sometimes has some good deals. This location is a big 0. The isles are overcrowded and difficult to manage WITHOUT a shopping cart- try doing it with one. The employees are not friendly and even bordering on rude. On a recent visit one aisle was completely blocked by a ladder and boxes. There are so many other choices- that sell simmilar or identical items so- why bother? read more

I would normally give Bed Bath & Beyond 5 stars, but this particular store didn't have what I was looking for and I had to hunt someone down just to help me look for it. I went in looking for a specific roasting pan that I saw online. It appears that they had been out of them for quite some time, but never restocked. However, the staff person that I did track down helped me find another roasting pan that I settled for. I also had my 20% off coupon with me, so I wasn't too upset. The lines in this particular branch never seem to be very long and I was in and out of the store in about 15 minutes. read more

Rude manager. A window treatment bracket I purchased broke at home through no fault of my own, so I returned to the store to replace it. The first salesman I dealt with tried to help me find the piece. It was not in the store but he found it online and told me to return to the store with the rod and they would give me a whole new rod with brackets. When I returned the next day, the manager was not very accommodating and had a real attitude. In the end, he gave me a bracket. But, at the same time he said that the store never carried this item. He never checked online. He essentially was accusing me of lying. This, after I spent over $200 last week on college supplies for my daughter. We had planned to go back to the July 14th college sale.
