We stopped by Pop Over Eatery located in this plaza. There seems to be a wide variety of businesses to choose from. It's located right in downtown Simsbury, so that is convenient. I deducted a couple of stars because parking is tight and can be confusing and I don't see a website listing what businesses are located there. I know for sure Subway, Starbucks, and Pop Over Eatery are located in there.

I mean, what else can you say about a place that repairs jewelry, sells gold, diamonds, silver, chains, nameplates, and wigs.... Lots of wigs. Silver wigs, brown wigs, black wigs, red wigs, orange wigs, blonde wigs, blue wigs, and more. Some were curly some were long and straight. Oh...and they sell plenty of extensions too, Surprisingly, I did NOT visit Kim's to buy a wig. Instead, I was there to get my watch repaired. I needed 1) a battery and 2) to get some links removed from a watchband, because the watch I bought on-line during the pandemic was much too large for me. It's been sitting on my desk for years, never changing the length of the band, but only having the battery run down. With a few weddings coming up this summer I wanted a fancier watch to wear than the cheapie I've worn for a while. So that explains my visit to Kim's. The young lady I interacted with was a joy to talk to, she told me the jeweler was out for a few hours, but if I left the watch, he's get back to me with a quote. In a few hours, he did exactly that and I was happy with his reasonable $40 price. I returned the next day, met the jeweler, he measured my wrist and removed a few of the links like a surgeon. He had already replaced the battery, and I left the store a few minutes later with a much snazzier watch will most definitely be "wedding appropriate". So if you ever need a watch repaired, a gaudy nameplate to hang around your neck, or a powder blue wig..... check out Kim's. The place itself is intriguing I guess, but I was just overwhelmed and didn't enjoy sitting there at all. The final touch was that their point-of-sale is on dialup and from a hundred years ago, so it's slow and they have a credit card minimum of $10.
