We used this company to get shutters for some of our windows, having used them years ago when they had a showroom in Phoenix. We were very unhappy with the follow through after our shutters weren't right. I know it's not an item one needs in an emergency, but to get our problem resolved took several phone calls and LOTS of time. We purchased very expensive plantation shutters and vertical blinds from 3 Day Blinds. I was so excited about them. It was my first adult purchase in my first home. The order was around $3,000. We were told we were paying for their name and their service. One, there was zero communication with regards to getting our blinds - then when I called the local company who made them, I was made to feel I was being impatient (we were told 6-8 weeks, I called around 8 weeks for an ETA). So for a product that we paid 3K for, I was calling them to ask them when they would install our product - not good customer service if you ask me. The blinds themselves are gorgeous. We had a mishap with a foster dog who ruined several of the slats on our plantation shutters - 10+ to be exact. I was told replacement slats were $225 each. $225 each!!! This is a piece of wood that is maybe 1 food in width and less than 1/4th thick. To repair my blinds it would have cost twice what it did to buy them. I called a local company and the guy came to our house and quoted $390 and they guarantee an exact match. What service from a company that prides themselves on their "well known name" and customer service. 3 Day Blinds will never get our business again and I will tell anyone who asks, not to order from them either. read more

Not impressed. We ordered 4 shades. They screwed up the order a total of 3 times, meaning they needed to re-order the shades because the sizes were wrong and we needed to meet with the installer 4 separate times just to get our 4 shades done right. It took more than one month to get our shades. I am now ordering another set of shades and going with a different company. read more

What a horrible experience we had. We moved into a new home and needed new shutters and vertical blinds for the house. We called 3 day blinds and had Kyle come out to give us an estimate. It was a bit higher than some competitors So I told him I would discuss with my wife. I e-mailed him and asked if he could do anything about the price....No response.. Then I e-mailed again... He said he was sick (understandable) and he would get back to us. Again, no response.. I e-mailed again and he said he would send to his boss for review. I waited a few days, and again no response... Then finally he said his boss was sick, but was sending the estimate right over... Once again, nothing was sent.. I called and left a few messages, and no response. Finally he calls and tells me his boss can take 30% off the entire order AND have it done within 3 weeks... I got the final price and agreed. Then the fun really begins. Kyle says someone will call me from Roadrunner install services to come measure.. I wait a week and no call. I leave Kyle multiple messages regarding lack of communication and he eventually texts me to tell me they will call ASAP and the 3 week timeframe is still a go (VERY skeptical at this point).. Roadrunner comes out, measures and then tells me it will be 6 weeks until I get my shutters... I call Kyle about this...no response... Multiple messages, emails and texts...no response.. My shutters get installed 6 weeks later, and they look awesome... Problem is, Kyle never ordered the vertical blinds. He told us they were part of the estimate, but never ordered them (I also never signed a contract because Kyle is/was nowhere to be found).. I contacted 3 day Blinds Customer service who were nice and tried to contact Kyle... He would also not return their calls or inquiries.. They said they would try to get us the blinds for free as it appeared he never ordered them and the price we were quoted on the phone and the discussion we had were just for shutters (VERY Shady).. . They eventually send another sales person over to our house and she was very nice, but after measuring told us it would cost an additional $800 for the blinds... It was a complete disaster from the start.. The quote was wrong and we felt intentionally mislead. If they wanted to charge more, I understand but don't be shady about it or try to screw us over. Im VERY reasonable, have been in Customer Service for over 15 years and it was by far the worst Customer Service experience I've ever had.. There is little doubt the shutters look good, but the process to get them, the fact that the verticals were never ordered even though we were led to believe they were, AND then they wanted to charge an additional $800 was ridiculous. Wow...that is my first reaction. When I first heard about 3 day blinds my reactions was the name sends the message of fast and cheap blinds. We just moved into our custom home that we spent a year and a half designing and 15 months buildings...I was not looking for budget blinds. Well, Juliet Egler showed us a completely different 3day blind than I imagined. We live against a mountain setting with many windows and I am not a real fan of heavy drapery. She introduced us to solar roller blinds and helped us find the valance that works spectacularly in our home. The blinds work fantastic and they look great. The value we received beyond our expectations. Juliet Egler was absolutely fantastic and I now believe there is such a thing as a window covering expert...her name is Juliet. 3 day blind will be the first place I look for window coverings for now on, don't let the name fool you!! read more

At the end of October 2016 I made an appointment with a 3 Day Blinds Design Consultant, Kimmy Brock to come out to our home and measure one large window over my kitchen sink for (1) blind. The consultant did arrive and measured my one window and I purchased the blind during the appointment. She informed me that the blind would not be ready in 3 days, but close to 2 weeks was more like it. Since I was not in a hurry, I agreed to the delay. The blind took 4 weeks to be received. On 11/16/16 the installation company installer opened the box and measuring the blind, discovered that the blind was the wrong size and also the wooden valence. The installer contacted 3 day blinds and his installation company about the error. He then remeasured the window and ordered another blind and valence. On 12/21/17 the installation company received the blind and called to set up another installation appointment. On 1/9/17 the installer came to our house to install the blind, this time the blind was the right size, however 3 day blinds had forgot to send a new wooden valence. 2 weeks later, the installers called again and an appointment was made to install the new valence. I would never recommend 3 day blinds to anyone. What was suppose to be a 3 day blind order and installation, turned into a 3 month and 4 appointment mess. All that time wasted due to the wrong measurements being taken in the first place and the continuation of errors for 3 months was totally unacceptable. The follow-ups with this problem were non existent. So I had to call the company after every installation visit to make sure they were going to get this order right and to voice my concern and frustration with the whole process. I also asked that once the blind was finally completed properly that I would be reimbursed for the inconvenience of all the appointments by the installation company. 3 day blinds, Kinny Packard did agree to my request and we settled on a refund. No one should have to experience such a disorganized business when ordering blinds for their home. Very frustrating! read more

After placing my order with 3 day blinds I received the worst and most discourteous service of my entire life. My credit card was debited $1000 without my approval and SALESPERSON refused to deal with the consequences of her actions. SALESPERSON DID NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS UNTIL CUSTOMER SERVICE INTERVENED. In addition the 3-day debacle took 2 months to install not 3 days. Customer service assured me that money would be redeposited in my checking account but it took almost one week for it to occur. I had a wood fabric blind installed for my sliding glass door in the bedroom. The consultant was very helpful in my selection. It ended up being a half inch short so the installer had to lower the brackets. I don't care for the extra holes in the wall but they don't show. read more

I have had my blinds for about five or six years. The sales rep who came out and measured told me that the windows were two large and they would have to split the blinds. The installer told me that he could have made them a half inch shorter and made the blinds one complete piece. I am updating my house and I am going to get new blinds for those rooms because by splitting them into 2 light gets into the rooms and it disturbs my guests sleep. I felt the sales rep gave me the royal screw and probably got a bigger commission by splitting the blinds into two pieces. Every time I walk into those rooms I get irritated all over again. read more

They were 4 weeks late installing. They put the remainder of the payment on my card without even a phone call. When i called to ask them to put the final payment on a different card they said that they could not do that because they couldn't issue a credit to the original card. Are you kidding me! 3 day with upgrade bill. Order blinds regular delivery from 3 day for 3 windows. 1 of the 3 was wrong size and on on the Friday install. The next week called 3 day on the following Wednesday and was told that they decided on Tuesday to reorder a new blind to the correct measurements they took. Never informed me of the delay and that it would be at least the following week before install could scheduled. Next time will go with a local company. read more

Highley disappointed is a mild statement regarding living Spaces . We purchased 4,000 worth of furniture just a few months ago. And one day I see a buckle on the side of it. My husband checked it out and the arm was busted. He then checked all of the arms and 3 out of the 6 arms of the couches are busted! All the pillows are coming unraveled as well. I called and they sent a tech out to see if he could repair it. He said its either a manufacturer defect or they dropped it or crushed it with other furniture. So now they want to bring back the broken furniture they gave us to see if they can fix it? Wait what?? I want new furniture like i ordered!! Not to fix the broken furniture you already gave me! They were extremely rude and i even purchased a Warranty. Now i will be out furniture for 7 days. I think its dry rot. Why wouldn't they want to replace this furniture? SHOULD BE CALLED 3 MONTH BLINDS - The worst company I have ever done business with. My husband and I bought a new construction home that needed whole house window coverings. After 3 different bids, we decided to go with 3 Day Blinds because the design consultant was awesome. He gets the star not the company. We paid them $4,800+ back in March for shades, blinds and a vertical system for our sliders. It is now the middle of June and they STILL HAVE NOT COMPLETED THE JOB. First, they sent all products to my home without informing me so we are receiving package after package instead of sending them to the installer. Then they NEVER followed up with me and expected me to call them once I received all the packages (even if I had no clue how many packages I was supposed to receive). When the installer finally comes to install the window treatments, he informs me that 3 Day sent the vertical system in the wrong size and will need to reorder and come back for install. Two weeks later I call to find out where the verticals are only to find out they have never been resent!! So, they reorder and I wait... The installers come back only to find out that this time the verticals are a COMPLETEY DIFFERENT PRODUCT than the one that was paid for!!! So again... they reorder, I wait, then they schedule another time for install. The installers come out to install ANOTHER WRONG PRODUCT but by now I've had it and will just settle for what I have been given. HOWEVER, since it is a completely different product, the chains don't fit so... They reorder and I wait... They assigned my case to a representative back in the beginning of May which was apparently useless because it has been over a month and still do not have a properly operating vertical system for my sliders. For our condo in SCOTTSDALE: Confident at the start. Questionable in the beginning. DISGUSTED at this point. Two windows, a door and a side panel. One bedroom window was redone after finding out that the inside mount would not really work and it would need an outside mount to avoid putting a fabric valance up to cover gaps at the top. As we knew and were told the window on this house was not perfectly even. We knew that but were under the impression that the valance of the blind would cover any exposure of light and cover gaps at the top. The valance on the blind is small and did not cover, light still came in at the top. Our kitchen (above the sink) window has been made twice. Once a foot too long & cut to accommodate the backsplash, way longer than would be needed. The second time length o.k. but bottom sides cut to accommodate a backsplash where it was not necessary.. Still waiting for a call back, after four business days, since the installer took pictures and said he would turn in the " pictures " of the error. Remember this is the second time. For some reason the pictures & the phone call take longer to happen than the blinds are to make. The QUALITY is not what they used to be. The STRINGS don't really engage like other brands and at this point it is just going to be exhausting to rectify our situation. This is not a huge purchase but it did COST $900. So terribly DISAPPOINTED. If we could start again, clean slate, we would go anywhere or call anyone but 3 Day Blinds. Today, we will call again as the effort to accept some things still leave us with the irregular kitchen window. THEY DON'T CARE. It's a blind. They don't care and it's exhausting to care this much to get a blind the correct way. From measure to cut, it's a blind? I don't get it. read more
