SHOULD BE CALLED 3 MONTH BLINDS - The worst company I have ever done business with. My husband and I bought a new construction home that needed whole house window coverings. After 3 different bids, we decided to go with 3 Day Blinds because the design consultant was awesome. He gets the star not the company. We paid them $4,800+ back in March for shades, blinds and a vertical system for our sliders. It is now the middle of June and they STILL HAVE NOT COMPLETED THE JOB. First, they sent all products to my home without informing me so we are receiving package after package instead of sending them to the installer. Then they NEVER followed up with me and expected me to call them once I received all the packages (even if I had no clue how many packages I was supposed to receive). When the installer finally comes to install the window treatments, he informs me that 3 Day sent the vertical system in the wrong size and will need to reorder and come back for install. Two weeks later I call to find out where the verticals are only to find out they have never been resent!! So, they reorder and I wait... The installers come back only to find out that this time the verticals are a COMPLETEY DIFFERENT PRODUCT than the one that was paid for!!! So again... they reorder, I wait, then they schedule another time for install. The installers come out to install ANOTHER WRONG PRODUCT but by now I've had it and will just settle for what I have been given. HOWEVER, since it is a completely different product, the chains don't fit so... They reorder and I wait... They assigned my case to a representative back in the beginning of May which was apparently useless because it has been over a month and still do not have a properly operating vertical system for my sliders. Our designer was Keelie. She was very professional and knowledgeable. She measured every window perfectly. We bought both blinds and shutters. All the installations were professionally installed by very courteous installers who were definitely good at what they do. All the installations were done within the time frame Keelie gave us. Highley disappointed is a mild statement regarding living Spaces . We purchased 4,000 worth of furniture just a few months ago. And one day I see a buckle on the side of it. My husband checked it out and the arm was busted. He then checked all of the arms and 3 out of the 6 arms of the couches are busted! All the pillows are coming unraveled as well. I called and they sent a tech out to see if he could repair it. He said its either a manufacturer defect or they dropped it or crushed it with other furniture. So now they want to bring back the broken furniture they gave us to see if they can fix it? Wait what?? I want new furniture like i ordered!! Not to fix the broken furniture you already gave me! They were extremely rude and i even purchased a Warranty. Now i will be out furniture for 7 days. I think its dry rot. Why wouldn't they want to replace this furniture? From the first call, that was answered promptly, throughout the whole process we were very impressed by 3 Day Blinds. Barbara Tuohy was our consultant. Barbara is very personable and extremely knowledgeable. We had never had shutters and she answered all of our questions. Barbara explained everything that would take place so we had no surprises. Recently I contacted 3 Day Blinds because of the Facebook ad I kept seeing - buy one, get one 50% off. My home has plantation shutters on every window, but I really wanted to make my living/dining room space extra special. I worked with Barbara Tuohy who helped me pick fabrics and hardware to frame those windows with floor to ceiling panels. What a beautiful difference they made in dressing up those rooms! I will look forward to using 3 Day Blinds again when decorating another room. My experience with the timing, pricing, and installation crew was great too. read more

For our condo in SCOTTSDALE: Confident at the start. Questionable in the beginning. DISGUSTED at this point. Two windows, a door and a side panel. One bedroom window was redone after finding out that the inside mount would not really work and it would need an outside mount to avoid putting a fabric valance up to cover gaps at the top. As we knew and were told the window on this house was not perfectly even. We knew that but were under the impression that the valance of the blind would cover any exposure of light and cover gaps at the top. The valance on the blind is small and did not cover, light still came in at the top. Our kitchen (above the sink) window has been made twice. Once a foot too long & cut to accommodate the backsplash, way longer than would be needed. The second time length o.k. but bottom sides cut to accommodate a backsplash where it was not necessary.. Still waiting for a call back, after four business days, since the installer took pictures and said he would turn in the " pictures " of the error. Remember this is the second time. For some reason the pictures & the phone call take longer to happen than the blinds are to make. The QUALITY is not what they used to be. The STRINGS don't really engage like other brands and at this point it is just going to be exhausting to rectify our situation. This is not a huge purchase but it did COST $900. So terribly DISAPPOINTED. If we could start again, clean slate, we would go anywhere or call anyone but 3 Day Blinds. Today, we will call again as the effort to accept some things still leave us with the irregular kitchen window. THEY DON'T CARE. It's a blind. They don't care and it's exhausting to care this much to get a blind the correct way. From measure to cut, it's a blind? I don't get it. read more

Keelie was our design consultant and she was amazing! This gal knows her product, is personable and extremely patient while I tried to make a decision. She made suggestions and explained the best option for our windows and door. I would definitely recommend Keelie to anyone looking to make this big purchase. Don, our installer was great; he arrived early and was quite efficient. He did a great job on the installation. We were a bit disappointed in the quality of the blinds. We had previously bought from 3 day and absoulutely loved the look and quality of our blinds. Because of a change in our windows and slider we had to purchase new blinds. We expected the same quality; especially since the price was double what we paid previously. We were; unfortunately disappointed. The quality is not there and the blinds don't always open or close completely; some slats seem to stick in one position and we have to manually move them. We never had this problem before. We paid extra for the up graded valance and it is so narrow that when the blinds are open you can see the brackets; I wish I had just gone with the basic valance. So, newer is not always better. read more

I have used 3 day blinds for my house before. I needed two more roller shades for my spare bedroom and master. I've been working with Barbara Tuohy. I am SO disappointed. I got my blinds installed on Monday and on Tuesday I called Barbara to let her know my blinds are crooked and there's massive amounts of light coming through. I received a voicemail from her Wednesday morning saying that someone would call and schedule a repair with in 72 hours. ( really? 72 hours? That's along time to wait to just schedule ). I waited patiently until Saturday came around. I called Barbara early morning and I left a voicemail. I had not heard anything back so I called again later in the day and I spoke with her. She told me to call the customer care number and get them to hear my concern. Now I'm not happy. I have waited all this time and no call. I called the customer care number and they are closed again until Monday! I got these blacked out roller shades that are now hanging up crooked with light coming in... When you spend so much money and time this is super frustrating! I usually only write good reviews but this whole situation was handled so unprofessionally and should of been resolved in a timely manner. Not sure where to start. First, perhaps the name should be changed to "3 Month Blinds" Our sales rep was Renee. As long as we kept putting in reminder emails, things kept moving and they were finally ordered. And a deposit charged to the card. Wait, wait, wait and wait some more, and after several calls and emails (instigated by us) we got an install time. 5 weeks into the process now. Keep in mind, this is only a total of four blinds. They were custom. Made arrangements with our tenant and they showed up. Installed and the final charge was made to the card. We checked with our tenant and asked how they turned out. He said that only three were installed, the fourth was the wrong size. The installer would take it back to the shop, recut and re-install. So, the emails started up again. Our rep only responded once ever again. She says she put in an urgent request to customer service. A month passes. No response to calls or emails. We figured that she must not work for the company anymore. So, first we stopped payment to the card and then we called the main California office. There records showed the job was completed satisfactorily. Uh, no. Case opened, and several days later they got in touch with the install folks. Supposedly that is where the ball dropped. Our blind went back on the shelf where it sat all forgotten. A few more communications regarding install arrangements and finally job was complete. So, if you order from 3 Day Blinds, stay on top of the process and call the main California office sooner than we did. They were good. read more
