We love our blinds, high quality and any time we need anything (question about blinds, something that needs to be fixed, missing charger, etc.) Empire has been extremely fast handling any questions or concerns. We started doing only our downstairs blinds but since everything has been so great, we expanded and did our upstairs windows as well. Best in class blinds and service, highly recommend Empire Blinds to anyone looking for new blinds. Excellent value considering the quality of the blinds and the 5 star service provided. Very happy with the choice we made using Empire blinds and the energy savings have been great. Thank you! read more

Empire Blinds - The best - Shades & Blinds Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I was recently in Phoenix on business as I'm opening a new location for my company. When we arrived to our new office we noticed that we have no shades, blinds, etc. I reached out to Empire with a request that I was hoping they could handle. An immediate install as I only had certain amount of time allowed for my stay. Needless to say they knocked it outta the park! I'm thankful for Damian and his team at Empire Blinds for putting up with my unrealistic time frame, my businesses requirements for our office and everything in between. My business continues to grow and we will be opening another office and relocating from Southern California to Phoenix. I'm looking forward to working with these fine folks again! Thanks Empire! read more

Service was very professional and thorough. Damien measured all the windows that we're going to be screened, then he showed me a book of different screen colors available help me choose from the most popular ones.. He was very friendly. I appreciate that. read more

Empire Blinds - Great shutters!!! - Shades & Blinds Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I DO NOT RECOMMEND EMPIRE BLINDS! I made a poor choice when I did and highly regret it! The owner is not trust worthy. It started out with a young man who came to install, and he said he was waiting for another person to help him. He also said he was going to California that afternoon Well the other guy didn't show up to help and he did a terrible job workmanship wise on the outside solar screens! First of all, I didn't know they were gonna be drilled into my house. I thought that I'd be able to take them on and off as I spoke to the owner about doing that. That was the first problem. And then the workmanship was awful! The solar screens were not reinforced on the end so they were already coming apart in the corners. The guy over torqued some of them so they're dented. Some the screws aren't even going in straight their cockeyed. There are two or three different areas he drilled and then decided not to put the screw in and drilled another spot. Yet he never repaired where he drilled. But the worst thing was using these ugly gray unpainted screws! The screens are white. I would've thought they would use white screws or paint them at least but they don't! I even called my friend up who sets windows for a living and I said look at this workmanship and he agreed, when you mount the solar screens, the screws should be aligned and when you have those ugly gray screws standing out like a sore thumb it looks bad! But then the owner pulls up in his truck. I show them all of the areas in the front and I said I haven't even gotten to check the back yet. Well, he starts getting irritated and says you know what you're never gonna be happy here. I'm just gonna leave these verticles for the inside and you just install them yourself. I gotta say I was a little shocked. He proceeds to tell me here. I'm just gonna leave these and he gives me a discount. Little did I know they were weren't even the right blinds. The owner had already decided before he even came over to change out and put the cheap ones in place of the ones that I had ordered. What a jerk. If anybody has any questions because this may be a little confusing, you can reach a reviewer through YELP and I will gladly explain. The owner is a jerk and he switched out the vertical blinds. He had already decided how he was gonna handle it before he even came over here to see what the problem was. I don't trust the man if you want to make sure to go look at the workmanship they do because it was not good. It was not professional. And the owner is not trustworthy. Sorry it took me this long to write this review, as it was a year ago, but I didn't want him to come back to me and try to charge me more! I have no confidence in their workmanship nor their integrity! read more

The best price I could find! And I'm pretty frugal! I shopped around and called a bunch of different places and they were the cheapest. And the best customer service! Great communication. On time and friendly. The blinds I ordered turned out to be a way different color than what I had expected, and I thought I was gonna have to suck it up and live with it forever, but the guy went out of his way to get me the color I actually wanted, so nice! read more

We researched a few companies before deciding to go with Empire Blinds and they did not disappoint. We liked their BBB rating, reviews, and estimate. Two of their employees came out to install our shutters that were very high up in our vaulted ceilings. They were super friendly, worked quickly, and cleaned up after themselves. Excellent value for the price. Highly recommend and we will keep them in mind for future projects! read more

Easy screen door replacement! Got a quote from Empire through Yelp, guys came out to measure and color match. They ordered the door, came and installed when it came in. Installers were very friendly and professional, chatted about various subjects and got to know each other a bit. Would hire again and highly recommend! read more

Such a great experience and awesome value. Clint was very friendly, quick to diagnose the issue with our shutters, and gave a fair quote. He had the materials and did the repair within the timeframe he originally specified and the result is fantastic. You can't even tell a repair was done! read more

Very quick to respond, knowledgeable and affordable! We had Empire Blinds come out and install sun shades on the entire outside of the home. The owner messaged me within 10 minutes of requesting a quote. He was able to come out the same day and give us a free estimate. Within a week we had the sun shades installed, and they look great! We are excited to get some relief from the setting sun on the back of the house and block out light from the morning sun on the East side. Thank you for taking such good care of us. We will be contacting you again to have them installed on our rental properties! read more

We got roller blinds and replaced some shutters with Empire Blinds. The quotes were accurate and installation was fast and professional, but I took off a star because the person who gave us the estimate said they could do a tan roller blind behind the translucent one we had set up but when it came time for installation the person who came (different from the one doing the estimate) brought white and said it would be impossible to fit both flush against the window because there wasn't space. We had wanted what we ended up getting originally so it worked out fine but the communication wasn't great. read more

When we bought our home, there were zero blinds in our house. Horrible. I quickly set up a appointment to get blinds. I had actually bought paper shades for some windows, but upon agreement to purchase Empire Blinds provided me with some for other windows that weren't covered and helped me fix the ones I had they were falling. Blinds came in in 2 weeks. Shutters took 8 weeks- made to size, understandable. Install was so quick- it's impressive how fast it's done! All the gentlemen who came to install were very nice. Quick to answer the phone when I called inquiring about if the blinds had arrived yet (I hated the paper shades). Love my blinds and shutters. All Norman brand. Would recommend! read more

The representative/owner, Matt, was very professional and "matter of fact" with his presentation. Very precise on measurements w/o second guessing or rushing to get finished. He was very informative regarding the brand as well as the quality of shutters. The turn around was better than most. Well... First impressions DO matter! I needed two sets of blinds replaced that our great done sunk his teeth into.. So I searched on Yelp like always to help me find what I'm looking for... I had originally looked at another that had established reviews on yelp and that's usually what I use to help base my decisions. So I want to share how this went down- to help the next helper know that these guys are LEGIT and as of now- I highly recommend them! Back to the story- I requested a quote and yelp has this option where it will send your request to multiple businesses in your search list. So about 5 responses were sent out and Clint from Empire was the first to respond! Literally within a couple minutes- he got a great quote for me and was extremely responsive during our exchange of info/questions. I had him call me after I had gotten a few other quotes in slower responses and more $$$... or some that refused to quote me without speaking to me. (However I had provided original order info from the blinds we had and pics/ measurements etc- everything needed). That's a bit of a turn off for me. So I was super impressed with Clint with Empire. He was able to set me up the measurements/color matching appt for the very next day and his friend and fellow owner/operator Matt came by and was even early! Super polite- friendly- efficient. We paid a 50% cash deposit- and rest is due at install. Should be getting them in about 2 weeks- if that. So I'll update later once they arrive and are installed. I like that this is a Veteran owned business of two everyday guys who take pride in their work and providing quality customer care to their clients. :) I'm all about supporting small business- so if you need blinds etc- give these guys a chance to WOW you! I think you'll be very happy with your choice. Update: 1/10/20 We are about to close on our house next week and these guys did an amazing job communicating with us last month when product arrived and scheduling to come install! They were professional, friendly AND efficient! I had blinds replaced in my office and play room where my dogs look out the front of the house and had chewed on the old blinds. And these match the rest of our house beautifully! I love them and the quality and price. I STILL recommend this veteran owned and ran company! The guys are great! Thanks again for helping us get my house ready to show! We accepted an offer the 2nd day we listed our house! Best of luck to you all! And if I have any AZ friends who need new blinds, I'll definitely recommend you! I'm headed out of state. Cheers! read more

I needed a solution for an upstairs bedroom that gets very hot. Damian came out and I ordered dark screens for the windows. I ended up ordering an additional screen because the price was very affordable. Damian was very nice & helpful. I'm so grateful I chose Empire Blinds to make adjustments to some existing blinds in my home. Most companies state they won't work on third party window treatments. Clint has an amazing knowledge of most products for windows. He accurately assessed my situation and was able to meet my needs. I found Empire Blinds through Yelp due to their stellar five star reviews. After meeting and speaking to Clint I knew Empire Blinds was the right choice. The booking process was super easy and it didn't take long for them to come out the first time and measure everything. Clint was very nice and explained everything in great detail of what colors would match with our house when it came to ordering blinds. I had ordered blinds for the entire house, a few shutters, and outside screens. Everything came on time when they said it would and installing was quick. I'm super happy with everything and it all looks amazing. Matt and Vince were the ones who came by and installed everything and both were super nice and friendly. Along with the window treatments we found out that they also provide contractor work as well, so we were able to get our TV mounted and get a barn door installed from them. Look no further for any of your window treatment needs. I wouldn't trust anyone else besides Empire Blinds. Thank you Clint, Matt, and Vince! read more

Empire Blinds did a great job on our blinds. We are very happy. Got several quotes from a few companies here on Yelp. Empire Blinds doesn't have a whole lot of reviews on the site, but don't let that turn you away. Clint and his guys are awesome! The whole experience was perfect from start to finish. We had an idea of what we wanted but we're not exactly sure. Clint took the time to show us samples and go over all the different options that were available. The job was completed on time and everything came out great. Prices were fair and competitive. I Highly recommend Empire Blinds. It was a pleasure doing business with these guys. read more

Look no further!!' This is the business for you! From the moment I sent an inquiry, I had prompt, honest, reliable service. Clint made my appointment for the quote and Matt was the technician. Both were very professional, personable and courteous. I received 4 quotes all together one company wouldn't even consider my job, 8 screens, as it wasn't large enough. Empire was fair in pricing and I can not say enough about their professionalism. Thank you Matt and Clint!!! read more
