The initial installation went great. In the 2 years that we have had the blinds the motor has gone out twice and each time they charge us a trip charge. Both times it has has taken about 30 minutes of holding for the case to be opened and then your do not hear from anyone for weeks. You have to keep calling back and they let you know that an installer will reach out to schedule a time but they can never give you an estimated time. They did a great job for the initial installation, but if you have any issues they do not provide very good customer service. read more

Would have given them a zero if that was an option. Bought an expensive blind for a large window with a remote control to operate it. It came with literally no instructions. Has never really worked. When we inquired about actual instructions for the inoperative remote, they said there weren't any, and referred us to a useless, amateur YouTube video. Awesome. First of all I want to acknowledge that the rep that came to my home was fantastic. I had 3 days to cancel my order, which I did on day 2. My complaint begins at this point. The down payment was processed immediately. I was told 7-10 days to receive a refund. On day 7, when I inquired as to the status of my refund, I was told it would be 10-15 days. This is an excessive amount of time to tie up my considerable payment. Beware potential customers! This is a terrible business practice. Yes, 3 Day responded, saying "please direct message us". A nice man came to give us a bid. We agreed to order blinds. We were told we would need to give a 50% deposit and the remainder upon installation Upon checking on the same day we discovered they charged us the full amount to our credit card. I called immediately and was told sorry, there's no way to give you back any money. Blinds were never ordered because 2nd person who came to verify measurements refused to measure. He said I can't measure because there is a valance there already. It all felt wrong so we cancelled on day 2 which was our right per our contract. They are holding our money and after 3 more days are telling us it will take 10 to 15 more days to get our money. I'm not confident about getting it back but will notify my credit card of the fraudulent charge. This is a scam. I'm warning you to run away fast from this company. My regret is that I wish I'd have read these yelp reviews before I started this process. What I'm reporting is a common theme. I'm sure they will respond here but it is a canned response that means nothing. I've spoke to their customer service multiple times and they cannot speak the truth. Getting this installed is not going well. First, scheduling the appt to select was wonky. The scheduler set my time in Jan rather that the Feb date I requested. So, it is certainly not 3 days. From bad to worse, installation set up with a huge time window, 1-5. I work and am self employed, so that is a challenge for me to take almost an entire day off. Then , I get a call at 4pm saying the installer is not feeling well and wont be out!!!! While I feel bad for the installer.... So, they said Saturday they could come out. First off it took months not days to get ONE blind installed. Then it was too short, took months again to get that in. Then worked good for about 9-10 months. It started to not work correctly, the battery wouldn't charge. The motor failed less than a year. Now had to pay even thought they had warranty $100 for installation and yet to have the new motor installed. Been over a month now for that. Blind still high all day so everyone can see in. So frustrating. I was happy when they worked for a while but now I know for the rest of the house I will use another company other than this big company that doesn't care about their customers so much. Just returned to AZ after being gone 5 months. My blinds will not go up so I replaced the battery and still will not go up. I called 3 day blind for service and was told my warranty has expired. I was SHOCKED the one year warranty begins THE ORDER DATE NOT INSTALLED DATE !!! THE ORDER DATE IS ONE YEAR AGO WAS 6 DAYS AGO. THEY WANT $89.00 TO HAVE A SERVICE CALL ! I ordered curtains for my condo in July 2023 and just received them in December 2023. The curtain rod was too short, so I had to wait 4 weeks to get one that was the proper size. After installing the curtain rod and drapes, the size of the drapes is 1 foot too short, so the window is not covered. This has been a fiasco since day-one. Since hindsight is 20-20, I would NEVER call 3-day blinds for window cover installation. The value is not worth the price at all!!!!!! read more

Scammy lady that answered the phone found my account but she said she could not see the paperwork. Game player. This company sucks and so does their products. 20 days after the vertical blinds installation, one side of the track fell off from the ceiling!!! Calling customer service is never easy. 20 people ahead of me in the morning, 6 people ahead of me in the afternoon. I was glad after some waiting it gave me an option to wait to be called back. The lady who called me was very pleasant. But after the call, she sent me an email stating that I needed to wait for three days for the installer to contact me! I am not sure why it is so hard for them to get it right!! I am not sure how many days I have to wait to be scheduled and be fixed. Worst company for blinds! Rep came in measured window, blind was not wide enough. Email rep when blind was installed, never answered email or called back. Called customer service, they sent out person to re- measure. They wanted to install blind on outside of window not on the inside of the frame. They re- ordered blind and still waiting for 2 weeks on when they will be installed. No communication, no follow up from rep. The installation and shipping charges were more than the blind itself. I ordered shutters for three of my rooms back in June of 2023. I explained to the sales rep, Deanna, that I was in no hurry as I was leaving AZ for the summer. I paid $1992.52 deposit for 4 shutters. While I was in Colorado for the summer, I got a call in July saying that the shutters were in and 3 Day Blinds wanted to install them on July 28. So I arranged for my adult son to let the installer in my home. The shutters were installed and the old blinds were removed by the installer. I was assured prior to installation by 3 Day Blinds that I would contact them if there was a problem with the new shutters. The company then charged my credit card the balance for the shutters or a total of nearly $4,000 for my order. When I returned from Colorado at the end of the summer, I contacted the home office of 3 Day Blinds because the shutters were badly constructed and light came in around the entire frames and louvers, which defeated the purpose of purchasing shutters to begin with. My old wooden blinds that were 30 years old and made by 3 Day Blinds covered the windows better than the new shutters did. And so began my saga with 3 Day Blinds. After numerous texts and calls to 3 Day Blinds, I received no satisfaction from the company and excuse after excuse followed. First they were going to send out the installer to which I responded that there was no problem with the installation - the problem was with the shoddy construction of the shutters themselves. Still no one came to actually eyeball the shutters. I told the company that they needed to send a quality control rep out to see these shutters before I did a YELP review. Finally on Dec. 27 they sent out their sales rep who had taken my original order, and she spent time with me going over the shutters. Today is Feb. 9, 2024, and I have heard nothing from the company. The prices were very expensive 2500 per window, but I was willing to look at some patterns for two upstairs windows, and get those done for 1200 each he said. He went to his car to get some patterns and the guy never returned his name was Gary he just disappeared like a fart in the wind. Totally unbelievable I called three day blinds customer service and they didn't even give a shit, and wanted to send out the next dummy, I was like forget it. I Hardly write reviews but this company is as opportunistic as they come. They are A HUGE RIP OFF. Their product is cheap, their installs are not well executed and their prices are ridiculously high. My wife hired them to do our house and I was under the impression she had done some research. In her defense she did but finding reviews for this specific company is difficult, i can understand why now. Their remotes are cheap too. Please do yourself a favor and stay away do not get your blinds from 3 day blinds. You will be paying 200 percent more than you should. Pay attention to the poor reviews. Your sales agent will make commitments to make the "sale" and once the sale is made, poof they are gone. The transaction is turned over to a poorly run company. Communication is non-existent. I have been waiting over a week for the installers to call to schedule an appointment. I have called the sales person Gary and his manager Heidi to make them aware. They have done ZERO to see the transaction through. Zero refunds even through the product has not been delivered, so there is no way to hold the company to any sort of service level. Friends and neighbors, if you're in NW Phx or Glendale, stay far away from 3-Day Blinds. The salesperson who represents them in this area is a fraud that is not truthful. Did not live up to the contract they wrote. You'd best read it real well! Never mentioned the 72 hr. notification on product not as described. Showed us three small samples and she and my wife picked the closest to match out existing blinds. Sent a color that was not even close and although a standard size refused to exchange them. Also told us our blind could not be repaired. With help from Budget Blinds, they helped us order the part and installed it very reasonably. Total was $73. Met with Tim who was great at showing us all the options. No issues there. The first installer came and installed the first set of blinds. We wanted to test them out before we purchased them for the whole house on the next paycheck. Wish I had done them all at the same time as he was a good installer. Second visit. Installer came to the house and I had my dog with me when I left him inside. Kylo has a tendency to run off if the door is left open so I asked the installer if he needed to get anything else out of his car which he responded, not at this time. I went back upstairs to play my computer game. About 20 mins go by then I here him yell up, "Your dog got out!" I ran downstairs, out the door and chased after my dog that the 3 DAY BLINDS INSTALLER let loose. I finally got him back home and in the backyard. The installer apologized and continued to work but since it was his fault for letting the dog out, I think he should have helped. No harm done. The installer installs blinds on the WRONG windows. They are clearly marked kitchen and he installs them in the dining room windows. So now I have 4 holes in 2 of my windows. The idiot goes upstairs and starts to install my loft window then does some kind of piss poor rigging and says he has to leave it this way because it isn't the right size. I tell him I don't want it installed then and I want a refund for that window if that is the case. He finds the correct size. The kitchen blinds are broken and we haven't been able to reach out to anyone who can come fix them for us. They have been this way since we installed them so we keep them down without the gears breaking out of place so we can't use them. Go elsewhere and get better service for the money. read more

They won't acknowledge what they did or the horrific customer service of their employee that came to my home early - I was not home - and so he was upset that he had to wait until the scheduled appt time, telling me that it would have been nice to finish his workday early and now cannot. He didn't tell me anything about what he was doing or needed to be done, just wanted to take my blind and no dates, no info, nothing. So I told him I needed to speak with someone for info first. We ended up getting blinds from him on the spot after having shopped with some other big name competitors. We did have an issue initially booking where they missed the initial consult but Brian more than made up for it. Looking forward to receiving our new roller shades soon. read more

My experience with 3 day Blinds has been nothing but frustrating. First, the "designer" she called herself was arrogant, was a little too impressed with herself, lacked personality. Wasn't very helpful with fabric choices. I requested her to bring fabric samples in mostly Navy's, she brought me four choices, the other five sample books were full of other colors, but blue. She measured my windows, note, the two windows in the master bedroom are the same size, how in the heck she got that wrong is God's guess. When the draperies were delivered, the two panels for the Master bed boom were different., they were sent back to be altered. Two weeks later, they arrived to be installed again, when the installer went to install them, he noticed they hadn't even been altered at all, so, again, we sent them in to be corrected. Still waiting on my panel, this whole fiasco has been an almost four month ordeal from the day of ordering them. read more

I have had issues with this company. Initially I obtained their number from a mailed advertisement. The salesperson who came out was nice and we agreed on a product and price. What I was not told is 3 Day Blinds is only a middle man, they actually contract out to local businesses. After the order was completed I discovered there would be two contractors, one for the blinds and one for the shutters I ordered. It took several weeks for the blinds to be scheduled for install. 3 Day Blinds is not what you get. During initial install one set of blinds were measured wrong and had to be re-ordered. A single blind was manual when we clearly asked for motorized for all blinds. Eventually that was corrected and I was advised I had to pay $600 more for a blind about three feet high. I agreed and paid with a credit card. Upon install of the re-ordered blinds and the wrong blinds, nearly three months from my initial order, I believed all was right. I was surprised to find 3 Day Blinds debited my checking account twice on the day of install. When I called them they said the first charge was a difference owed to them and the second charge they would investigate. The irony is if they had quoted those prices on the initial order date I would have most likely agreed. To be fair the installers were very good and quick and they did a great job. As for the shutters I was getting no information on the installers. The installer finally called me after several messages and told me he was backed up and he had several higher priority service calls that customers had paid a premium. I was upset that evidently I was considered low priority. I was told it would most likely be another 4-6 weeks before he could install the one set of shutters. I asked for a hard install date and the installer told me he was not in the office and would call me back when he returned. Did not get a call for a week and I called again. This time I got a call back and was told he had an opening the following week, much quicker than the month and half he told me earlier. Shutters were subsequently installed and he did a good job. The products themselves seem to be really good and I have no complaints with the installers. However, if you want shutters and/or blinds I highly recommend you deal with local businesses and not go through 3 Day Blinds. The installers and quality are the only reason I gave this company three stars. read more

I am so disappointed for many reasons. First, the product from the outside looks terrible (you can see bar codes and colored stickers they use). The company after telling the installer I was unhappy and 30 days of follow up, told me to take the blinds down and remove the stickers myself. Wait, what?? Second, I was told I would get 1-2 poles to use to easily raise and lower my blinds when they were delivered. I got ZERO which means I can't reach my blinds to raise or lower without a ladder. Third, the blinds were installed for 20 days and one has already broken. So now, in my office where I need to lower the blinds in the afternoon to allow me to work, I can't. Everyday, I need to relocate in my home displacing my family to work. While I appreciate the response after repeated requests, I am obviously completely dis-satisfied with the lack of resolution. 3 Day Blinds seems to have mis-represented itself on the quality of the products, non-delivery of initial ordered products and most importantly how the product looks. I can't imagine it being ok for any customer to hear "we don't provide a resolution" to the way things look, but take it into your own hands by taking the product down, remove our stickers, try to put them back up and hope everything goes ok read more
