A3.Beef Flank Hand Pulled Noodle Soup- thin noodles
Eriza L.

My family and I love ramen so we decided to give this place a try for Saturday night dinner. The decor was very inviting and cozy. Staff immediately greeted us at the door. The ramen options were different than what we were used to but we were intrigued that you get to choose your noodle style by thickness. We chose thin noodles. I got the beef flank thin noodles and my husband got duck with thin noodles. All the soups come with bok choy (my absolute fav). Generous portions, flavorful broth and we got complimentary spring rolls for spending over $30. We really enjoyed this family style ramen place and will be back soon!

What a perfect lunch! I was driving around for awhile in the area when I saw the signs!! Chicken Stir Fry was exactly what I needed. Healthy and had vegetables but..THE NOODLES !!! Really separate this from other places. Staff were very nice and quickly had my lunch out. Cool projectors on the walls too, would be awesome at night I bet!

Another new location for this restaurant. Cashier is very patient and answered my questions. Knife cut handmade noodles are the winner for me. String beans were tasty. Cold noodles were bland. Personally, the Alpharetta location offered tastier food. Love the decor here with the rotating video photo walls!

I'll start with ambience... This place was so inviting from the moment we opened the door. The gorgeous water feature was so stunning, we actually stopped to admire it before asking to be seated. We were greeted by a super friendly host who led us to a booth at the back of the restaurant. There were projection screens on both sides of the building featuring different relaxing scenes ranging from seascapes, to cosmic. We chose this place because of the dim sum options. Our server was the sweetest and so patient as my husband and I debated back and forth about our selection. When we made our choices, she showed us an electronic estimate of how much our order might cost and I really wish more restaurants would do this. I mistakenly thought she wanted us to pay right then, so I laughed and told her, "it's my birthday, my husband is paying!!" They started bringing out the food and we were equally delighted by the presentations as well as the service. The crab Rangoon was the best either of us has ever had. Made with real crab, the creamy filling had none of the sweetness most places are imparting into this appetizer now-a-days, and I'm grateful it didn't. It was a savory, tangy, and fried to perfection. The spring rolls were also very good. Perfectly fried also, as well as fresh. But I wanna talk about those soup dumplings and those baos..... Omg... Pretty much everything we had was stellar but our definite favorites were the soup dumplings and the pork dumplings. The wrappers were fresh, expertly constructed and had the right texture. These aren't freezer section dumplings!!! The soup dumpling broth was rich, savory and flavorful. The pork dumplings were tender and juicy. The pork burger was also delicious! We asked our server to choose something for us and she picked that. Her choice was spot on!! It was juicy, flavorful, and well made. We also enjoyed the scallion pocket which was stuffed with egg, scallions, glass noodles and wrapped in a crispy fried dough pocket. AH-mazing!!! The only negative was the calamari. It wasn't bad, but it was obvious that it wasn't freshly fried because it was stale and cold. I get it. They probably make that in large batches, so I understand that it's possible we got the bottom of the basket, but it was still ok. Our server went on her lunch and sat at the table across from us. She was so sweet and even stopped eating for a minute to tell me happy birthday and said she hoped it was a great one. Things like this, make you want to come back. Over all, though, our experience was wonderful and we would definitely go back for the food as well as the service. We truly enjoyed our experience there and couldn't have asked for nicer staff.

Still loving this place! Got my pan fried dumplings and stir-fried chicken. The service is still consistent and great. The restaurant is pretty full tonight and it's Labor Day!

Another great lunch at Lanzhou ramen. Noodles nice and fresh and chewy springy bouncy. Also had the soup dumplings so delish full of soup.

Mines tasted and looked like noodles straight out a cheap spaghetti box, very uniform. I am a huge foodie, been all over just to try new foods and I particularly love hand pulled or knife cut noodles--this is not that despite what the menu says. Terrible taste, huge waste of money, you'd be better off going to Publix and getting bouillon cubes and putting that in warm water with slightly cooked spaghetti noodles and a crap ton of cilantro (wish I was lying). I need a literal pallet cleanser after this and I'm unable to finish them, I've never once felt like that about food that's $18+ for one person. They also add a LOT of cilantro, if you're not ready to taste only that beware.

Y'all. Y'all. Y'ALL. This place is the literal BOMB. Service: 10/10. Ambiance: Out of this WORLD. Food: EXQUISITE. The peeps here are just so nice, and it's very clean and cutesy. They got this dope window where you can see them making the noodles in front of you. And the portions are HUGE. Could not rec more highly. 10/10 dawg. Also Bobby Yoe is glad to be back y'all! His posts may not be as frequent as they once were, though. His school is starting up again, and Harvard ain't easy. Totes adorbs. Bobby Yoe OUT

Food was very good! In my opinion they had great potion sizes especially for the prices! The soup dumplings and the scallion pancake were so yummy. The Mongolian beef was definitely a stand out. Service seemed a little rushed to take our order when we weren't ready, but other than that service was good.

Fantastic little Asian joint. I ordered takeout, so I can't comment on the service (although the cashier was plenty nice), but the food itself was absolutely amazing. The braised tofu hand-pulled noodle stir-fry, in particular, was fantastic; the vegetables were fresh, the sauce was well-seasoned, and the tofu itself was marinated and super flavorful. Seriously, I think I'm going to be dreaming about that tofu. The sauce was also pretty spicy, which was a nice touch. The crab rangoons were great as well--if somewhat overshadowed by comparison. Overall, an easy 5/5. Do yourself and favor and try it out.

Duck Ramen soup. It was incredible

What a fantastic experience. The food was simply outstanding. How nice it is to have this level of Ramen now in Cumming, GA. I had the duck ramen soup which was delicious. Our entire order of entrées was over the top. I seriously can't wait to return and enjoy this food again. On top of the food being so good, the service was great and very attentive.

So, I can only vouch for my experience eating Japanese food to state that the tsukemen at Okiboru is just like what I have eaten in Japan, specifically the Kansai region. Being that I prefer tsukemen over ramen, dipping sauce over soup, over the years, I have definitely eaten my fair share of this type of noodle. The broth is a thick gravy that is meaty and dashi-rich at the same time. Not too salty, although slightly bitter at times. What really stands out at Okiboru is their thick and toothsome tsukemen noodles. The texture of these noodles alone keeps me returning. QR code menu and friendly service. Bar style atmosphere at this location. So nice to have an authentic tsukemen shop at the mall. I like to stop by before seeing a movie.

We decided to try Slurpin' Ramen Bar first. I had read that they originally started in California so I had a good feeling about it and I'm so glad we went! Their tonkotsu broth was probably the best I've had in the US. It was rich and full of flavor without feeling overly heavy. It was so good that we didn't want to leave any behind so we actually took the leftover broth with us for the 5-hour drive home (thankfully we had a cooler bag!). I immediately had to tell my son who's currently living in LA for college so he can visit one there too. This place is definitely going on our must-visit restaurant list from now on.

First, when you walk into the restaurant, it is very cute, has a bar for solo diners and booths incase you are in a group. The location is very cozy and the employees were great! Our server was very patient and had no problem explaining, re-explaining, and confirming with the chef if he wasn't 100% on an answer. I got a tofu rice bowl, which I typically don't get and it was delicious! I asked if the salad could be put on the side rather than in the bowl and was given a full side salad that I wound up mixing into my rice lol. I also added broccoli to the bowl, which I probably wouldn't do again because it was pretty bland, but overall the bowl was good. Now the vegan dumplings... were FANTASTIC! We shared the dumplings and everyone agreed that they were easily the best thing that we had eaten the whole day. The green color threw me off at first, but the crispiness and texture of the dumpling was amazing. I would love to go back and try the ramen to see how it measures up, but again, great experience. Also, when you are paying the check, they bring you a small bucket full of dum dum lollipops, which I thought was a great touch. Me and my adult guests all left like happy children, which is exactly how eating out should make you feel.

I ordered the Cha-shu Japanese Bun and the Cha-shu Ramen, and wow--both were outstanding. The cha-shu pork was perfectly tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The bun was soft, fresh, and paired beautifully with the rich, savory pork. The ramen itself was next level. The broth was deep, rich, and comforting, clearly simmered with care and attention. They're not just noodles, they're noodle artistry. The broth was rich, cozy, and the kind of thing that makes you pause mid-bite and go, "wait... why is this so good?" (Apparently this place is known for its fresh, handmade noodles and hearty broths, and yeah... that checks out. ) We ordered: * Sesame balls (dangerously snackable) * Chicken hand-pulled noodle soup (add the egg, trust me) * Shanghai pan-fried pork buns (crispy-bottomed little pockets of joy) * Lamb noodle soup (deep, savory, "I might become a regular" energy) Everything came out hot, fresh, and in portions that basically said, "we care about you... and your leftovers." Also, bonus points for being the kind of place where you can go full noodle goblin and nobody judges you. Final verdict: 5/5 Would absolutely return. Would absolutely bring friends.
