They ran an industrial dehumidifier and cut out all of the wet components. And they did it shockingly cleanly, covering everything and making sure all debris was cleaned up after. That was the first service. Because I was impressed I also had them do the rebuild. Literally a third of my ceiling needed to be replaced. You have to look really hard, and know it's there, to tell where the wallboard was replaced. They even closely matched the ceiling pattern! The team was phenomenal, polite, friendly, helpful and skilled. An all around exceptional experience. Value was very good too. The final tally was in line with expectations and perfectly reasonable given the quality of work completed.

Our remediation supervisor, Jose Teixeira, came all the way from Florida to help us here in Houston; once again a great experience. Jose was patient, attentive, took the time to listen to our concerns and questions, and was hands-on in the entire process. He walked us through the entire process before they started, and had excellent attention to detail. Even though he was supervising multiple jobs at the same time, we didn't experience any lag in productivity or communication. He gave us great, timely, and personalized customer service and we couldn't have been happier. They arrived one hour late to the first remediation appointment, two hours late for the second, and three hours late for the fourth. They did NOT remove all the damaged items they were supposed to on day one (and said they were finished), dumped all the cabinets and drywall on my mom's lawn instead of in a dumpster as itemized on the estimate, and dumped their beer cans on top. Totally disrespectful. My question is why did they have beer cans in the first place when they were supposed to be working? One month later, the home is still not remediated properly. The clearance tester said he could not believe they left her house so dirty and trashed. He even noted it in his report that they needed to clean up. Basic. After sending them the clearance report and not getting a response, I had to send another email with RESPONSE REQUIRED in the subject heading just to get them to set a time to come back out to complete the work itemized in the failed clearance report. It took one month of prodding to get them to finally remove the bar in the kitchen that was supposed to be removed on day one. There is still moldy insulation in the walls. When they came out the fourth time (after clearance test failed), we overheard the workers saying they brought a particular area to the attention of the service manager on day one but the service manager told them to not touch it. We call the office to get assistance and can only talk to the "answering service." It should not take one month for work that should have been done right and thoroughly the first time. Now, they have the gall to tell my mother that they have moved on to other jobs while hers is still incomplete. This is how they treat the elderly.

I sent very detailed pictures of the stains ahead of time and was quoted nearly $500 for the work. I even took time off in the morning to be available. When the technician arrived, he immediately dismissed the stains as "unremovable," barely made an effort, and simply rubbed one spot with a cloth as a "test." My furniture is very well cared for, and these are small, manageable stains--not extreme or unusual. Instead of attempting to clean them, I was essentially told nothing could be guaranteed. That raises the question: if nothing can be guaranteed, then what exactly is your service providing? It felt like a complete waste of time and money for both the quote and the visit. From the moment he walked in, it seemed like he didn't want to do the job. I strongly suggest reevaluating how you train or hire staff, because customers deserve more effort and professionalism.

We called over the weekend when we found their information and setup an appointment for a free appraisal the following Monday. We were given a window starting at 8 am and Louis showed up at 7:45! Within just a few minutes he confirmed it was in fact black mold and they would be able to help us. He described what the process would be like and provided a quote. We attempted to obtain a second quote, but never received a response back from the second company, which is fine because they wanted $200 just to come out! We called Dry More back Thursday and they were able to give us a Saturday appointment. His team of technicians were very prompt, friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the issue and how to prevent it from happening in the future. They had the sheet rock removed and everything cleaned and wiped down within 2 hours. They had to leave behind equipment to properly dry the area that needed to run for 24 hours but his tech offered to get approval to come back Sunday to pick everything up, even though they don't work on Sundays. I appreciate the quick response to our situation which could have been worse if we waited much longer to take care of it. I hope we won't get into another situation that will require this type of service, but if we do, I'm definitely giving Louis a call.
