24/7 Locksmith - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - Orange, California

This company have scammers working for them. They sent a guy out to our home to repair a lock. He said that he had to order the lock because it was a special lock. He took off our old lock, put it back on, incorrectly, and asked for $600.00 for his service call and to order the lock. This was on a Sunday and he said that he would be back the following Wednesday to install our lock. Wednesday came and the guy was a no show. Later that evening, we called him and got not answer. We called a call center to report him. We didn't get any help from the call center. The call center said that they would have a manager call us. We explained to the so called company that we had given this guy, $600.00 to repair our lock, and he hadn't showed up to repair our lock. After we called this guy numerous times he finally called. He said that he was going to bring us $400.00 back the next week! We told him that we wanted our $600.00 back because he had failed to repair our lock. He said that he was charging us, $200.00 for labor which all he did was destroy our existing lock making it inoperable and unsafe. We continued to call the so called company, 24/7 to speak with some sort of manager. Bottom line, the guy told us that he was bringing $400.00 to us! He never showed up! Bottom line, we were scammed out of $600.00. To this day, three weeks later, we haven't heard from him! Oh! By the way, some guy called us from 24/7 locksmith to follow up on the report. We gave him the guy's name, Idan, the manager says that he didn't know the individual. To this day, 3 weeks later, we can't contact the guy because he doesn't answer his phone. So folks, there's a lot of scammers out there robbing folks. So please be skeptical of the folks listed on the internet as replicable companies or individuals. All I have to say is that you must be cautious as to whom you allow into your homes. By the way, we found them on the internet as, Maple Leaf Lock, Seattle, Washington and I am guessing that they forwarded the job out to a 24/7 lock. However, please don't use this company!!!! read more

I spoke to the owner who was good enough to call after my negative review. The service was still expensive and not up to my expectation, but I would call this company again and give them another shot. It's good to see that a company cares about their reputation I called to get a quote on having a key cloned. I was told that only one agent could do the service I was looking for and he would call me back within the hour. I was called almost 6 hours later and received a quote that was 3x higher than a quote I received from another locksmith in the same area. This service gets a hard pass in my book. read more

Locked out of the house and called 657 845 9680 to get a quote to open one door knob. Quote was $75. I said no thank you, I don't have enough money. He said it's ok, let us go out there and we'll give you a good price. I get a text from714-450-2427(this locksmith) I waited over an hour 1/2. The guy that came out said he could do it for $145. I asked him to leave, since that was not what I was quoted. I later get a call from the service and asked what the problem was. I explained that the technician wanted to charge 145 for a simple doorknob that was quoted as 75. She said she could someone else to help me with my "problem". I told her not to worry about me. I called a local company that came out in 15 minutes, finished in 2 minutes and only charged 60. read more

Just had a technician show up to my office to unlock my boss's office after she came back from vacation (we think the cleaning service accidentally closed and locked it). He showed up promptly and fixed the lock quickly, he was here maybe 30 minutes if that. But what I love is that they haggled on the price! almost no businesses haggle anymore! 24/7 is definitely my go to for lock smiting services in the future! Thanks guys! read more

Locked myself out of my condo. Called this company and they replied fast. Waited around 45 minutes for them to get to my location. Got to my locked door and they hit me with a crazy price to unlock my door. Mind this the door has a cheap key in lever door lock. So he hits me with $200 dollars. Felt like I had no choice cause I needed to get it. Took him like 30 seconds to get it picked. Wouldn't recommend this place unless you want to get hit with a extraordinary out of this world price. read more

Writing this to correct company that I paid money to. The guy who came to open up the smart lock took 3hr+ trying to open it up, drill, picking . All this time we were begging some one else from his company to come and they couldn't tell us any ETA so we can tell tenants how long it takes . Instead the guy wrapped up saying he can't do it . We called another locksmith. Another person came and said they shouldn't damage the lock but now only option to remove it entirely. He started working and suddenly the help from first company come and claimed I have to pay them and they can finish the work after 4.5 hr later. I had to pay both companies. They were very aggressive towards the second locksmith who just had to fix whatever they couldn't . So the main fault- they hire unprofessional unlicensed people which as ok as long as they are capable. But they aren't . I provided the name of my lock by phone and also it's not emergency service as they claim . Paid 180 and 200 .I don't recommend them even tho some of them might be a good professionals. But they don't take responsibility for their employees read more

Awesome and speedy service the guy that came out to help me was super nice and helpful!

Terrible service !!! The guy was so rude and yelled at me. I will never call them again and they were WAYYY TO EXPENSIVE!!!!

DONT TRUST the 5 star reviews. READ THE REVIEWS PLEASE!!! This place is a joke. They are liars! They take advantage of your desperate situation. They look at you as FOOLS. I have a BMW Volkswagen I got locked out of my car..cause I lost my car key. I needed them to unlock it. Then the guy offered me a spare. And charged a ridiculously amount. He did the key and the car didn't start. The guy blamed it on my car battery or fuel and my car was fine!!! I called a mechanic and even the BMW Volkswagen dealer parts they BOTH said it's not the car. IT WAS THE KEY!!!. He didn't program it RIGHT!. I CALLED FOR 2 DAYS STRAIGHT. And he made excuses . He said he would come but he never showed up.....I demand my money back for the key that is completely worthless to me!!!! THEY DID NOT GIVE ME A RECIEPT!!! ALSO they have another company hidden in Google same name and same Tom guy. Reviews are also bad! Coincidence I THINK NOT!!!! Look for yourselves..avoid this service their a total scam!!!! read more

Great service!! It was fast only took 2 min. He came to my house and was super friendly!!!

I bought new locks for my security door, and needed to have them installed. Reading the reviews that I found on-line and Yelp, I choose this company. When the locksmith arrived, I was quoted a price of $210.00 to install my locks and I quickly declined. After a little haggling, he brought the price down to $95.00 and I accepted it, and the locks were installed. When he was finished, he showed me how they locked (the dead bolt was kind of hard to turn). I was told that it is a new lock and would loosen up in time. The handle lock, well it locked. But what I should've done, was to pull on the door without the dead bolt turned, because after he left and I tried to lock the door using just the handle lock it wouldn't stay closed. I called the office the next day, (twice), and was told they would pass it along to the service rep....they never did. I had his cell no# from when he'd called to let me know he'd arrived and was outside my house on the original service call. Well, I texted him telling him what was going on, and that I was going to yelp about it. He (AVI) texted me back very apologetic, said his office never told him I had called. He came over the following day to fix the lock. He couldn't figure it out, but thought the latch was too short. He would look for a longer one and get back to me. He hasn't! My husband fixed the lock! I will never do business with this company again. They are very unprofessional and do not stand behind their work or word! PEOPLE BEWARE!!!!!!! read more

Worst service ever!!! Wow! So I called the locksmith to come out to my house the first time was a Friday he said he'd be here in 30minutes. He came 5 hours later(literally). By that time I had to be at work so I called and let them know. Well according to them he still came even though I said I wasn't gonna be there . So I callback next day still trying to figure out if it's my key that I need replaced or the ignition cylinder. So I ask again can I get someone to come out and please check what's wrong. So the lady starts to say wel the driver has been there too many times and now they want a credit card on file lol this is all for a 15 dollar charge to come and see it. The locksmith calls me and starts telling me that he's been coming to my house and no one has been home. Mind u I only asked him to come that Friday and decided to show up 5 hours later. Not cool. He could've at least called me. So he continued to say- I'm not gonna do ur service. Fine. I call the company back they talk to him finally he agrees to come. At this point I don't even want him to show up. He shows up turns my key and says it could be either/ or. I HAD ALREADY FIGURED THAT OUT ON MY OWN. Obviously I know it's either or that's why ur here and I'm paying you the 15 to tell me which one. So I pay him . With absolutely no solution for me. I notice a few days later THE COMPANY CHARGES MY CARD ANOTHER 15 bucks !!! It's been about two months now and I still haven't got a refund. Every time I call thy are full of excuses. I will never use or recommend this place !! How bout u hire a friendlier staff ? Each time I called they seemed so bothered that I was askin for my money back because I was charged twice ! read more
