They came out made a key but could not get the fob to program. Said they would order me a fob and come back out. I went ahead and paid them (my mistake). Did not hear from them for longer than 2 week period they said the fob was going to come in. Called the technician he said he would come out in morning-did not show. Called the technician once again said he would be out in morning-did not show. He could tell by my house that I was poor and I am a single mother and it did not bother him one bit to screw me over. I think this is a call center that sent him so next time I need someone I will call and stay local. Never again will I call their number. I do not believe they ever ordered a fob or intended to finish the job I think he just wanted his money and go. The worse service I have ever had! So I needed a new key fob to be able to start my car. I called and the tech did get here quickly. Once starting on the truck he realized he was given the wrong key fob. So he gave me a regular key (on a Saturday) and said he'd bring the fob on Tuesday. Tuesday it never came and I didn't receive a call. Here to find out they sub contact most of their technicians and don't allow them to have the customers phone number. I called over the coarse of 8 days to get my keys. Every person who answered the phone claimed to be a supervisor and every person told me they would look for an update and would call m3 back but not one single person ever did. Well then I had to take my young kid to urgent care and we had to stop at the store to get a fever reducer. Well when I got out to get my kid out of the back seat the doors somehow locked when I shut my door. The key I had received didn't unlock my car doors! Had to call to have my doors unlocked while my kid was stuck in there. I called them when I got home assuming they would care and it was nothing but a run around. I was hung up on, insulted, and lied to. Then the complaint dept called and all they said is I'm sorry and thats it. This company does not value their customers time or business. 10 days and countless calls it took to get my key. This company is greedy and a joke. Please use someone else!! read more

I don't normally write reviews, but I feel somewhat robbed. My 3 year old locked us out of our bedroom and stupidly we don't have a key (that's changing obviously). I was at work and my wife called 24/7 Locksmith because they were the first result in Yelp and are pretty close to us. On the phone he said he couldn't quote her until he assessed the situation (the situation is the bedroom door is locked. There's nothing special about this.) He comes and says $125. My wife agrees. What seems like 30 seconds later he has the door unlocked. Comes back and says it's going to be $170. $125 for the service call and $45 to unlock. First off, don't tell her $125 to get her to agree to it then hit her with another $45. That's deceiving. Second, you could have easily quoted on the phone for this and let her know when you got there if it was more complicated that it could cost more. Third, it's a free market and you can charge whatever you want for a service call, but really...$125 service call plus additional cost for a 30 second job is highway robbery, I'm sorry. People...read other reviews and you'll see similar scenarios including quoted service call fees that do not align with what we were charged. Seems like it's made up as they go. I won't give a 1 star because they did what they were supposed to do, but can't possibly give more than 2 stars for deceiving my wife. UPDATE: The business owner contacted my wife to see about making things right. I can appreciate that. I'm not trying to hurt the business, but need to be clear about our experience. I bumped my rating to 3, because again they did what they were supposed to, weren't jerks about it, and tried to make it right, but I'm not removing this review. I don't need a refund or anything, but to the business owner: you need to be clear and up front about your costs as much as possible. CORRECTION TO PRICE: He corrected me and stated the service call fee is $45 and the job was $125. Look, if someone calls, straight up tell them it's a $45 charge for you to come out whether or not you have us do the job. This is normal for many onsite service businesses. I wouldn't have turned you away. In our case, we called to unlock a bedroom door. According to my wife, the tech said this is the most common call. If that's true, then you could have easily quoted $125 over the phone with the stipulation that the cost could go up if there's anything out of the norm. Tom saved me on a 100 degree day when I locked myself out of the house. He was here within 40 minutes. He tried everything first before he would have to drill the lock which would have been more expensive. Nothing was working. But wait! Tom had one more idea. One window was open upstairs. By upstairs I mean about 20 feet up with no ledges just a partial dormer roof. With no ladder he shimmied up onto a balcony went out over the partial dormer roof and reach over the edge and tried to slide the window open! Success! He saved me money, and risked falling in order to get the job done. And while doing so remained professional and had a very positive attitude. Could not recommend him more highly.
