New remote key doesn't even have the option to open the trunk. Start the car and it works, error on a dash shows up for key fob issuers. Edan says the error will go away. This company have scammers working for them. They sent a guy out to our home to repair a lock. He said that he had to order the lock because it was a special lock. He took off our old lock, put it back on, incorrectly, and asked for $600.00 for his service call and to order the lock. This was on a Sunday and he said that he would be back the following Wednesday to install our lock. Wednesday came and the guy was a no show. Later that evening, we called him and got not answer. We called a call center to report him. We didn't get any help from the call center. The call center said that they would have a manager call us. We explained to the so called company that we had given this guy, $600.00 to repair our lock, and he hadn't showed up to repair our lock. After we called this guy numerous times he finally called. He said that he was going to bring us $400.00 back the next week! We told him that we wanted our $600.00 back because he had failed to repair our lock. He said that he was charging us, $200.00 for labor which all he did was destroy our existing lock making it inoperable and unsafe. We continued to call the so called company, 24/7 to speak with some sort of manager. Bottom line, the guy told us that he was bringing $400.00 to us! He never showed up! Bottom line, we were scammed out of $600.00. To this day, three weeks later, we haven't heard from him! Oh! By the way, some guy called us from 24/7 locksmith to follow up on the report. We gave him the guy's name, Idan, the manager says that he didn't know the individual. To this day, 3 weeks later, we can't contact the guy because he doesn't answer his phone. So folks, there's a lot of scammers out there robbing folks. So please be skeptical of the folks listed on the internet as replicable companies or individuals. All I have to say is that you must be cautious as to whom you allow into your homes.
