I've only been here a few times, but every time I visit - I do enjoy my experience. I first tried this at location in Salem in 2019. Rolled ice cream frozen and prepared on a cold plate in front of you. I think this location opened at the beginning of the pandemic so I do hope people know about it. Similar to cold stone creamery, but more Inspired by Asian dessert pop up trucks,this place is fun and unique . From fantastic fruit to lovely lavender - lots of flavors to be had. Not sure if hot Cheetos rolled ice cream is a winner, not daring enough or naive enough to spurge on a weird flavor, but yeah, that's something you can get too. Thai tea rolled ice cream sounds so delicious right now. I'll definitely be back soon to try that one too. They also serve other desserts and a variety of other drinks too including teas and smoothies. Definitely a great place for a summer cool treat. read more

Wonderful treats | Rose tea is our favorite We often come here for my husband's favorite Shaken Rose tea here. I'd say it's the best one we've ever had! The tea is really good quality compared to other rose teas at other boba stops. My husband loves it so much he orders the biggest size so he can save some for the next day. My daughter and grandmother loved the rolled ice cream. They have a wide variety of flavors finished off with a couple of toppings of your choice! My five yr old chose marshmallows and sprinkles. Grandma chose a double scoop of mochi. I think what made me really love this place even more is their dairy free options, so I was also able to enjoy something from here. I had their strawberry rolled ice cream as a base and added coconut flakes. Simple yet refreshing. The workers are friendly. There are little games on each table. I don't know if it's the concept or the execution that I'm not a huge fan of. I can with my friends so we ordered three total. Fortunately we weren't in a hurry or behind anyone else. It's a lot of razzle dazzle which makes for a really inefficient process. I will admit that my 3D perception is not the best. However when you compare the volume of the start and the finish it looks like they are just incorporating a lot of air in the ice cream. Pretty unanerican but it leads to very even flavor distribution. I guess the notes of the ice cream while visually attractive get turned down. I contemplated getting a bubble tea but after watching them make the ice cream I kind of am glad I didn't. I'd still be there. It is a coarse comparison but it reminds me of a certain frozen earthen surface franchise. I choose the aforementioned. The cost is a bit heavy too. I get that I'm paying for the razzle dazzle but I'll keep the extra buck to potentially have the bell rung. Glad I tried probably would not try again on my dime. I thought this was a typical ice cream store - but nooo! It was great seeing your ice cream made for you. They pour the ice cream liquid base on a very cold surface. They push it around until it freezes. Then magically, they scrape it into rolls and neatly put it in a cup. I think the rolling adds to the unique texture and flavor. Unlimited topping - must try the toasted marshmallow! The banana cream pie ice cream is so good! There is a wait time for custom made ice cream and expect long experience if more than 4-5 people in front of you. But we walked right in with no wait. read more

I couldn't decide on a topping so the guy at the counter suggested coconut flakes and a chocolate wafer. Great suggestions! The ice cream and the popping soda that my husband got were both delicious. I'm not sure what's going on here but the last three times I have been in one person is working and they are out of boba. I feel really bad for the kids that work there because they always seemed super stressed because they're the only person there. This place needs better management all around. It's important to make sure your employees are taken care of and safe (having a teenage girl work at night is not safe regardless of the location). We had the Campfire (chocolate base with roasted marshmallow and graham cracker), Morning Breakfast (fruity pebbles and strawberry), Mud Slide (creme de cacao and oreo) and CocoTaro (taro with coconut flakes). Definition of Inefficient. After I placed my order, the single and only employee working on a Saturday night proceeded to take the order of 7 other people prior to starting our order. We sat down, come to find out the other 4-5 people in the store prior to us were still waiting for their ice cream! We waited 15 minutes then asked for a refund. The staff was super friendly. However it's expensive and SLOW! We waited about 30 min to get our ice cream. They only had two staff members working. I'm disappointed. Not only does the tea taste like powder mixed with water, but the tapioca pearls are tiny and hard with no flavor. Also caution when drinking, any pressure on the straws causes them to split and I cut my tongue. I went in and there were only a few other people when I ordered. I waited 40 minutes for my small cup of strawberry milk tea boba. In addition, while I waited multiple people came in, ordered, waited and then demanded a refund or just left. I'm used to a higher quality of customer service. I usually go to Bobahead in Eugene, which is the highest tier of boba imo, but I'm in Portland visiting my family so I thought I'd try 22 below. Bad idea. I'm not sure if it's this location? Because I've heard great things from the Portland one, or if it's just the company itself?
