Makaela, Faith, Addie, Zane, Brittany and Miles have been superb from helping me with packages, notifying me of up coming events, asking how my day is, having engaging conversations.All the staff since I have moved in last year has been great and very friendly and helpful. They always come with a smile. The building itself is always well kept up and although the amenities were not open all the time due to covid, the staff did everything they could to make it feel like we were getting out money worth. The only tough part is parking and how far the structure is however it keeps the cars safe and really is not that big of an issue. The roomies are all good size and the kitchen is nicer than any other places in Eugene. I highly recommend 2125 for the living situation as well as the friendly staff. read more

I have lived here 2 years and it is not worth it. If something is broken in your apartment it will take 3-4 maintenance requests and visits before the issue is actually resolved. On a few occasions we have had maintenance requests be "resolved" despite no one entering the unit to address the problem. The people in the front office are often nice but very unhelpful. When confronting one of the managers about a safety concern regarding one of our roommates and direct violations of the lease agreement, we were continually lied to and then ghosted. Although having proof of illegal and dangerous activity, the manager did nothing, making me and my roommates live in a dangerous situation for months. They do not care about the safety and well-being of their residents. There is almost constantly construction, affecting our standard of living and access to amenities that we pay for. Parking gates are consistently broken while we pay over $100 a month for gated parking. The apartments themselves are decent but cheaply put together. The walls, ceilings, & floors are paper thin, so expect not only to hear every time your roommates moves in the common spaces from your room- but also everything your upstairs neighbors are doing as well. read more

We had a very disappointing experience with this company. The amenities offered were minimal considering the high cost, and the customer service was consistently poor. At move-out, my son returned the keys and parking tag just a few hours late after calling ahead to inform them he was stuck at work. Despite his effort to communicate, he was treated poorly, and the staff member who accepted the items failed to properly log their return. As a result, we received a large, unexpected bill -- and the company refused to work with us to resolve the issue. I typically avoid writing negative reviews, but this situation was particularly frustrating and mishandled. There are definitely better and more professional options out there for student housing. Car got broken into in the gated parking garage multiple times- windows broken, console broken, cash stolen etc etc. also the staff here are young and doing their best but have no power in actually helping.... The 2125 seemingly has great amenities but absolutely no support to back it up. Residents were given a one-week notice that we'd need to remove our patio furniture because the building would be power-washed and repainted. We were also notified that this would take place from May to August---the time of year everyone looks forward to using their patios. Something we were NOT INFORMED about was the courtyard closer from May to July! This is the time of year everyone wants to use the courtyard amenities: Pool, hot tub, grills, firepit, lounge chairs... Mind you, the pool and hot tub aren't consistently open the rest of the year (annoying). These amenities are what draw in guests, and to take them away with little and NO NOTICE is beyond frustrating. The cost of living at 2125 Franklin is only close to worth it if you can utilize the amenities. Multiple residents are currently trying to negotiate a decrease in rent while these amenities are removed. It's hard to imagine that these repairs couldn't have been done during the many non-sunny months in Oregon where it wouldn't have been disruptive to residents' enjoyment. read more

Don't live here. It costs an arm and a leg each month and is riddled with entitled and messy residents who trash hallways, leave their trash, and literally vomit and pee on the walls. Yes, that's right. And there is rarely anyone to clean it up so it will stay there for a few days. Additionally, the apartment is not worth what you pay. The elevator has been broken since January but weirdly enough the company has decided to repaint the entire building instead of focusing on that. (They expect residents to keep their blinds shut until the end of August to maintain our privacy, wtf?) The staff is unhelpful and there is no form of security or help after the hours of 7:00. You will be much better off living anywhere else honestly. Can't believe I pay $1k a month to share with 3 people and get this to show for it. read more

Front office management is terrible. Can't get out of your lease and even if you request a room a million times they put you in the wrong building AND charge you 250 dollars. I lived here for two years and I REALLY regret it. I had a variety of issues while I lived here and a lot of them can be blamed on incompetent staff in the front office. There's no reason for college students to be running the housing they live in. They lost my packages, were unable to explain a variety of charges, and disregarded my complaints about cleanliness when moving into each of the units I lived in (one of which smelled like pee and they tried to charge me for that when I moved out!) Additionally, the maitenance staff here is incredibly unhelpful. We had faulty wiring, broken AC, broken washer, etc and we always had to have them come back 3-4 times because they refused to believe us or fix the issue the first time. At one point, all three of my roommates and our parents had to be there to convince them to fix our wiring issue. read more

Now they are trying to hold our deposit due to damages to a desk in a room that was used by the workmen for storage and as a bathroom. Terrible communication and not at all helpful. Discriminatory based on athletic status. Fair Housing Act violations all around with in habitable living circumstances. They do NOT clean, repair or run through anything when you enter a new lease. Strange illness kids come down with due to possibly mold and mildew . It's disgusting, unsanitary, smells and the office is run by college kids who are not equipped to know how to handle proper complaints and basic tasks. Stay away from this property! So far, no good. First of all, the place was FILTHILY even after calling weeks in advance to request a clean room due to Covid. Prior to this call I was "accidentally" marked as a sublet, and almost drove to Eugene without a place to stay, while they were still charging me for the room. Also, after this problem was addressed, they were very hesitant to put me back with my roommates and never put us back in our original room. I was avoided on the phone several times by the manager and she never fixed her mistake, and approved my roommates and I to move in early to this dirty apartment. read more

This place isn't bad at all, I would say it's definitely in the top 4 apartment complexes for students in Eugene.. comes with a couch that is probably a 6/10 in terms of how comfortable it is, but also gives you access to a pool which is great for a hot summer day and also a gym (I cannot personally attest to the quality of the gym because I just don't believe in working out.) This may be a bit petty but one design issue that the company clearly overlooked is that of the keys/keyholes. Unlike in the dorms where you just scan your key by placing it in proximity to the scanner, here you have to physically insert the key into the keyhole and then twist it... might not seem like a big deal but if you're like me and come home from Trader Joe's with 6 bags of groceries (lol if you think I'm taking two trips) it can be a struggle to reach the key to the hole when your hands are full. In fact, one time I dropped one of the bags trying to insert the key and cracked 5 out of the 12 eggs in my carton.. pretty frustrating. ANYWAYS, one thing that I really love about this place is the service of the desk staff. One of the leasing agents, Makayla I believe her name is, has helped me multiple times and she never fails to deliver prompt and reliable service and help answer my questions whenever I ask. A stand out employee who never fails to brighten my day. Solid 8/10! read more

Never stay here. From the constant harassment from my downstairs neighbor, to my car being vandalized... they will not do anything to help you. This place only cares about your money. I found someone to take over my lease and they still made me pay for another month of rent ($800). My (brand new) car's radiator hose was cut while INSIDE of the GATED garage... and they wouldn't start any type of investigation on it even after I filed a police report. I then got an email from the building after I had moved out saying a car was stolen from the SAME gated parking garage. The place is run by 21 year olds who just make friends with the residents and have no idea how to problem solve like adults. Bad management, horrible customer service, and mediocre living. read more

I feel like you have to really piss a resident off for them to write two one-star reviews, so here I am, writing my second one-star review. This is the perfect place to live if you love inconsistent communication and having to jump through five different hoops to get in contact with an actual manager. If you actually have issues and have talked to office workers, DOCUMENT IT. I told the office that one of my roommates was violating her lease by having MULTIPLE animals in the apartment unit, and they made it seem like they were actually going to do something when I talked to them. I went down to the office to follow up on the situation a few days later, and not one of the office workers had any idea what I was talking about. Also, I have no idea what the new roommate protocol is, because I have had three new roommates move into my apartment unit since the new year started, and each has been handled differently. For the first one, they sent out an email with the new roommate's contact info and their move-in day, sounds great right?? This roommate never moved in. The apartment never informed us that she wasn't coming anymore, and my current roommates and I had no idea what happened. A few weeks after this situation and right before spring break, a random woman shows up at the front door of our apartment unit and said, "Hi, I'm your new roommate". Mind you, this is NOT the same person that was supposed to move in. We got no notice from the apartment. No note on the door, no email with contact info, nothing, just a stranger at our doorstep. I had left for spring break the next day after this person showed up on our doorstep, so if I wasn't there when she knocked on the door, I would have thought a stranger broke in when I got back after spring break since the apartment felt no need to send me or any of my other roommates documentation of someone else coming in. It's a fucking pandemic too, so it would be nice to have any sort of notice at all. This brings me to the most recent roommate situation. The apartment put a notice on our door last week saying a new roommate is moving in with a specified date. That's it?? I don't get to know the person's name? The apartment sure didn't think that was important. I called the office to complain about the whole roommate protocol, and of course I had to talk to one of the idiot office workers instead of a manager. The office worker told me that the manager was in a meeting and would call me on the phone later that afternoon. That was four days ago. I went down to talk to the office in person today, and again, none of the office workers had any idea what I was talking about. I mentioned this in my review from SEVEN months ago, this is a gorgeous apartment complex, but the office workers and management make it literally unbearable. I'm giving myself a fucking headache just thinking about the fact that I have to live her until my lease ends in a few months. Put simply, this apartment DOES NOT CARE about your well-being, they do whatever they please, and there is NO CONSISTENCY in any aspect of the way this place is managed. This is my daughters 2nd year living at Franklin Apartments. Both times my husband and I have made a trip out from Southern California to help get her settled in. I can not say enough about how accommodating the staff has been. Both years, James ( maintenance department) has done an amazing job addressing our request with little odds and ends during move in. 1) Car was dented In The Garage and there were no CCTV cameras to identify the culprit. Cameras are cheap & easy to install and for the price paid for this apartment and extra for parking they should be installed. 2) Take photos of any damage to your apt walls, etc When You Move In and document it with mgmt. Also photos when you move out. Mgmt will nickle & dime you for every little thing. 3) if you have a dispute, make sure you document all calls made to resolve it and document by name who you speak to and what they say. Also document in writing via email/letter. Protect yourself. They will take forever to return emails, calls and are hoping you'll just give up. Don't. read more

I had a really wondering time living here, Addie in the office was super sweet and very accommodating for my sister property transfer!

Its hard to back up a company or apartment​ complex that in all reality does not care about its tenants and just wants the rent money from those living here. Yes they do have amenities​ that are nice like the pool (which is only open from late April/early May to end the end of September) and the hot tub (when its not "broken by residents"). The pool table is nice (when they actually have cues that are not broken) and the social lounge is cool (highly don't recommend studying in the study room since they installed the sound-proof glass the wrong way) and the bbqs are great to have (except they ignore the shit out of them and need some work). But I would have to tell students and family that are looking for a place for their child to live to AVOID FRANKLIN LIKE THE PLAGUE. Why do I say this? Glad you asked. First of all I've lived here for about a year now and will be living here for one more year while I finish my senior year. But here are the reasons I say to avoid this place: 1) Management, the leasing office, and the staff are inconsistent. Granted some of them are great but in all reality, the majority is going to speak louder. First management, when asked to have something done they really don't have it get done unless its detrimental​. Next the leasing office staff, ran by students, 18-22 years old. Sorry but I don't want teenagers entrusted with my money that i'm paying rent with. Also they have and will continue to talk shit about residents behind their backs, I know this to be true because when I was paying rent about two months ago from writing this that's​ exactly what they were doing. Don't think the CAs are on your side, they are just paid RAs with a more relaxed attitude but also act like the plastics from Mean Girls in private (again some of them are fine but its a dime a dozen). Last, the staff, they will give you notices that they will be entering your apartment to check this and that throughout the year. I have consistently​ noticed they were either late or too early from when they said they would be there. Sorry but I like to be home with people I don't know are going through my place that way they can't steal shit. 2) Rent here is too damn high for students. At the moment I'm​ paying $589 for rent and a reserved parking spot. In September​ ill be paying just over $700 for a new unit, granted it is a different layout but put on top of that that im living with three other people who are also paying at lease $700 so thats a total of $2,800 a month for a 4-bed/4-bath and tiny as hell living room. For that price we could have just rented a house with way more room. Also if you are late with your rent its a $100 late fee. Just read other reviews that involve the late fee. 3) "You're going to love it here" is the biggest lie of them all. With all the BS that they will try to pin on you the slogan should be "You're going to be ripped off here." They really arent on your side, read other reviews 3a) An example that im going through right now is that im going to be moving into a new until in September, awesome right? not really, the shit they punish you with does not make sense. First off let me say that I didn't know that I was going to be moving into a different unit until April-May because I didn't know who I wanted to be rooming with until then. Now that that's out of the way back to the story, I went in and signed a new lease for this apartment. What I was then was told still makes no sense to me at all and they have told me this at least 3 times. I am going to be kicked out of my apartment when my lease ends on September 2en until the 19th while they go and "clean" the apartments. If I wanted to move in right away I would have had to pay $200 on top of my $700 rent just to move in early and essentially​ have them skip the cleaning of the room. Now I know for a fact they don't really clean the room, its more like a handjob clean, sorry sad-handjob-clean. Meaning yeah they do some work, but we all know what we really want done. When I cleaned my current place the steam mop i used turned from a clean white pad to the darkest gray i've ever seen. There was a horrible smell coming from the pipes and all they did was pour bleach down. The top of the cabnets in the kitchen not only made the place smell terrible but I had to take a credit card to scrap the crap up, then i was able to use cleaner and a rag to finish it, and the rag, threw it away from how nasty it was. The counters were sticky and the fridge had mold spots. Yeah, totally what I want from an apartment. Franklin take a lesson from REAL apartments. When people move out hire real cleaners to come through and do their job, don't use your own CAs and staff to do a piss poor job. And in case ya'll were wondering. If I could give lower than one star I would. ps you don't want to know what got left in the walls when this place was being built, bottles of human waste. If I could possibly give this place ZERO STARS I would do. 1. Rather than employing full time professionals, American Campus employs students part-time. Which means, in practice, that your property management is being handled by 18-21 year olds. They seemingly have very little training. And there is a huge level of turnover in the office. The result is exactly what one would expect when a business is run by teenagers - plenty fine when they're managing a McDonalds, not so great when they're managing your lease!!! (We had a gas leak while I was in the building, and honestly you NEVER want to be in a situation where 18 year olds are managing such a serious situation.) And forget about getting any help from the head office - they don't respond to calls, it's next to impossible to get their contact details, and their attitude is extremely mercenary. 2. The staff will give wildly incorrect information, on a frequent basis. I can't even count up how many times I was told something, only to find out days or weeks later that this information was woefully incorrect. And they will NEVER take accountability for such mistakes, no matter how much of a mess this has created for you! They won't even apologize. (I say this having encountered at least a half dozen such experiences, and experienced the same poor customer service response every single time.) 3. More than once I experienced the staff gossiping about matters that I'd gone to them privately about. Again, when you're employing 18 year olds it's not surprising that this kind of thing happens. 4. The accommodation is horrendously over-priced. I spoke to multiple tenants who weren't renewing their leases, and they all told me that they were moving because after living there for a year they'd decided that it definitely wasn't worth the price. I was paying $960 a month for my share of an apartment that I had to share with someone else. When you consider that the same two bedroom floor space can be rented in the area for $1,200 it's clear that the owner has massively jacked up the price! My roommate was paying $1,600 a month to share the apartment with me - between us that was almost 3K a month for a pretty basic two bedroom apartment!!! Clearly the owners are capitalizing on a market of wealthy parents who will pay just about anything to know that their child is "safe", but personally I feel that such price gouging is somewhat immoral. 5. The walls are paper thin. Seriously. As a result the nuisance noise levels are extremely high. This would be difficult enough if living in with quiet neighbors, but being that most of the residents are 18-20 years old, you can pretty much kiss goodbye to any guarantee of being able to sleep before 2am. In principal you're told that property management provides noise control, and that there's a number you can call to complain, but personally I found that this often does little good. 6. The noise from upstairs is really loud. I mean, really, really loud. I've lived in several apartments, and have never had an upstairs noise problem like this! My upstairs neighbors were so noisy that they literally broke a piece of furniture in my apartment by making the walls quake. Plus the social lounge is directly under the gym, so the sound of heavy weights being dropped on the ceiling interrupts whatever you may want to do in there...making that room close to unusable during certain hours. 7. The garbage disposal was an extremely lengthy walk from my apartment. This maybe doesn't seem like a big deal, but it gets old real fast. Whoever designed this building really made a blunder on that one. 8. If you pay your rent late they charge a hefty $200 fee - even though the state of Oregon's legal guideline for late fees is just 4%. I'm personally convinced that this is a side hustle for the owners. 9. A lot of the amenities wouldn't work for periods of time. I tried to use the fire pit - it wasn't working. I tried to use the hot tub - it wasn't working. When I went to use the sun bed I found that they had removed it. Of course this is only part of the time, but for the serious $$$ that one pays for this property, one would expect all the amenities to be reliable! 10. When it came time to renew the lease I was utterly harassed - in a single day I was contacted nine times by phone, email, and letter!!! I have NEVER experienced so much pressure to renew my lease - it was like the employees were being pressurized to harass the tenants. Despite me kindly asking them to stop contacting me, they continued without relent. Clearly the staff had quotas to hit, and didn't care how miserable that might make their tenants. In summary, I spent most of my lease bitterly regretting that I ever made this commitment. It's been a very deeply unpleasant experience, and I am hugely relieved to no longer be living there. It makes me really angry to see the owners continue to get away with this. read more

Yes, (like the other reviews say) the amenities are good, it is close to campus and cheap electricity bills HOWEVER dealing with the office and employees is such bullshit that it makes this place HELL. For me, I ended up moving out 8 months early because my roommates were stealing my stuff, throwing parties and breaking things. I talked to the leasing office multiple times about it and they said there was nothing they could do. Okay, that's fine. I asked to switch rooms so I wouldn't be responsible for what my roommates were doing, they also said no. They said my only option to prove I wasn't involved was to move out and get a check of the place to make sure nothing was broke, so I did. For the next 8 months I continued to pay rent and electricity and when the 8 months were up they sent MY CO-SIGNER a notice saying I owed 300 more dollars because of a broken mirror...? I didn't even get a notice. So I went to ask for the manager, wasn't there. So I was given a card (the person who was helping me contact the managed was actually really nice) but when I called the number on the card it said the number was disconnected. So overall This place is a nightmare that no one should have to deal with. read more

The apartments themselves are pretty good and the rent isn't too much. It's very nice to have your own room and bathroom. However, the workers themselves are greatly under qualified and are just generally mean people. I can't say that all of them are that bad but the larger majority do their jobs poorly. Many times they just don't care about you and on a couple of occasions I have heard them talk about residents behind their backs. If something is broken in your apartment you can try to put a fix it request but it will take so long that it is actually better to go into the office itself and tell them. If you do live here, try your best to avoid the employees, they'll just make your life harder. read more

The first year I lived here, the place felt like home, I was placed with great roommates, and management was on top of their game. However, after a change in management this last year (2020-2021), the complex went downhill fast. We were given barely 48-hour notice and contact information for new roommates moving in during COVID (without any thought or communication to help mitigate the safety concerns of my two roommates with immunodeficiencies). Even after this incident and being promised better communication next time, management communication issues continued to reoccur. On top of this, THIS IS NOT STUDENT-EXCLUSIVE HOUSING - due to the Fair Housing Act - STUDENTS BEWARE: we were placed with an individual 35+ years old, a non-student, and someone we didn't necessarily feel safe around. The complex should not be marketing "student housing" all over their materials without a disclaimer that states ANYONE can rent these units/rooms, and you are not guaranteed to be placed with people your age NOR students at all. For parents who are expecting their student to be living with other students rather than random older adults, this can be worrying. Not to mention, due to the communication issues, we weren't even aware of the situation until the individual was already moving into our unit. Overall, the complex is a great location and has wonderful amenities, but recently a deceitful and uncommunicative management (run mainly by fellow students) that seems to have little regard for the health and comfort of their residents. read more

I couldn't agree more with the other reviews given. The place is a total nightmare. I moved during the middle of the year, so I had my lease for about 6 months, but encountered far too mant issues. I went to renew my room one day and they told me that they are fully booked, being as that im a transfer student and have no family in Oregon i startes freaking out. I asked why was i never notified about renewing and as usual the front office never seems to have an answer. Further, when you ask to speak to a manager they refuse tl come from the back offices to the front to talk to you, instead they insist that you email them or some other B.S. I really hope that someone sees all these negative reviews and makes things right. We are not making it up, you guys seriously suck. Do not be fooled by the pretty pool and Mac's in the office space. When doing homework downstairs all you can hear is the second floor gym weights being dropped over and over again. Not to mention they put an arcade and pool table where you are supoosedly set to do homework, DUMB. Lastly, and my anger to write this post comes from a letter I recieved a few days ago. Mind you, i have been moved out for a month already. A bill saying i owe 20$ for room cleaning 40$ for living room cleaning $38 for utilities and 125$ for tampering with the smoke detector. So i called and nobody can tell me anything and i was told to email the billing lady. She says it shows that we removed the smoke detector, which I just dont understand. And the bill was only split 2 ways when we had 3 roommmates, but because she moved out a week before me and the other girl, she is void from paying those fees. how does that make sense? i was there for 6 months compared to her year, but because she moved out 1 week prior shes clear? i seriously hate everything about Franklin and i make sure to tell everyone... I brought it to the mangers attention and she replied with, no that's how some of them came. STOP!!! bullshit over load!! It's from putting hot items on the counter. They are really bad all over. Then she said well, the apartments are a year old. Really??! I would hate to see them after 5 years then. I said between the security deposits, the 3 weeks of rent they collect before u can move in the units and the $100 late fees they charge people, there's more than enough money to replace a $600 piece of granite. If the kids are required to seal and take care of granite, why not get something more durable like Quartz?? Can't wait to find out all the problems her and her roommates have throughout the year!! Do not live here. If there was a way to give 2125 Franklin zero stars, I would. The building is constructed very poorly and the management does not care about the residents' happiness. I was forced to live in a hotel for two months because the sprinklers in the apartment above mine malfunctioned. Before moving into the hotel, my roommate and I slept on our couch for an entire week because 2125 refused to give us one even though there were two huge dehumidifiers and fans running 24/7 for a week. Less than two weeks after moving back in, I have to move out again for more maintenance work to be done in my room. Save yourself the trouble and frustration and DO NOT LIVE HERE! read more

2125 Franklin owes me $75!!!! I left my poetic review because I did not feel like repeating the same information that everyone else had already stated in the other reviews. However, my situation with 2125 Franklin has become worse. So a summary of the situation that urged me to write my first review occurred in September 2018 a few weeks after I moved out in August 2018. I had moved a week before my other roommate. We are both tidy and still keep in contact. I had left the space clean and I trust she did as well. In September, I received half of my security deposit because 2125 Franklin accused me of leaving garbage behind. They did not charge my roommate anything because she still lives in that building but not in the same room. I contacted the building and spoke with a girl with a name that starts with the letter "L" like Lauren. After she refused to let me speak to a manager and some arguing I convinced her to look at the information about my room. She looked at the pictures they had on record of my room and said that they had accidentally mistaken my room for another and that in order to get my money back I had to email images of the check I got for the incorrect deposit return and that I should receive my refund in a month. She then hung up on me and straight away I email the information to 2125 Franklin. I had yet to receive the rest of the money owed to me in November. I called them again and spoke to Lauren. She said that they had received my email and that my money should be there shortly. By December nothing had changed. I went to 2125 Franklin in person and spoke to Kendra and the bookkeeper. The bookkeeper said she was never told about the money I was owed and that she would send in the request herself and it should be with me in a week. Now to January 2019, I still don't have my money. I called 2125 Franklin again and they said that they put in the request to the head office and that they can no do anything else. I then immediately called the customer service office on Friday, January 18th. They did not answer even though it was during office hours. It is now Sunday, January 27th. They have yet to call back and it has been 9 days. I have never felt more disrespected or have been treated with such indifference. From what I have seen this company is nothing more than cruel and corrupt. If things change I will update further. I currently live in another student housing complex that treats me well and helps me out whenever there is an issue. Too bad they can't help with this issue. read more

Loved the location and very much appreciated having my own space and bathroom here. It is accessible, has a gym, and other great amenities. I stayed for a few years because I appreciated the convenience and privacy enough, but I probably shouldn't have. Complete mistake, but I was tired of moving so much. Every year was a new challenge, more money, and a more careless leasing office staff. It's straight up a scam. The complex is clean and newer, but it is slowly and surely falling a part. The first year we had a fuse blow and put us out of power--just from trying to run the heat. We had to wait up until early hours of the morning for someone to come and take care of it, our apartment reeking of burning plastic and us unable to do anything about it. It took the lousy maintenance over a month to fix it, after them watching youtube videos to try to figure it out, they finally hired a professional (for the love of God, we have to use some of the millions we are making off students for outsourcing). Not long after this, did the person above my bathroom overflow their toilet in the middle of the night and the community assistant came, said it was fine and would put in a work order in the morning... I mean... what? There was water everywhere, the walls and ceiling soiled. The toilet and bathtub could have literally fallen through their paper thin walls into my bathroom. They brought a dehydrator and said everything was "totally fine" but I cannot imagine the electrical state of that apartment to this day. Fortunately this was right before the end of the year, so after this I decided to release in another apartment. It worked out fine and was the right thing for my living situation, but there was still a ton of unnecessary maintenance and a leasing staff that did not care one bit about you or your well-being. For example, I had someone leave tons of large pieces of trash and food, drinks, etc in my parking spot for a while. They said they would check it out. I'm positive they didn't as it continued. Additionally, the refrigerator light was falling out in the apartment. No big deal, call the maintenance workers. What did they do? Not fix it by wrapping electrical tape around the light (so it kept falling out again) and forcing us to put in 3 more work orders before we gave up and just let it dangle down on the top shelf. It was truly most frustrating dealing with the money-hungry people who run this apartment chain. Whatever they can charge you for, they will. I didn't get a huge chunk of my security deposit back due to silly reasons that each complex should expect to take care of between tenants. They charged me for a stained tub that the tenant before me actually left this way--now it is my fault though I tried to deep clean it as much as possible. I'm sure they never cleaned it before me. Cleaning between tenants should be a given, not something "extra." Look at some of these reviews and see the state 2125 Franklin leaves the apartments for the next person. I'm sure they barely hire cleaners. How about cleaning all the paint stains on my carpet that you splattered absolutely everywhere off the walls? They even thought a bag of nails, that was FROM the apartment (because everything ever falls a part as noted) were considered trash and charged me for it. I can only imagine what some of the other apartments were like for them to extract such a large amount from an incredibly clean place. Ultimately, it worked for me, but it was a pain in the a** that I really shouldn't have put myself through. I needed the convenience in my situation and a few rooming situations that didn't work out forced me to make hard decisions as far as where to live for those years. It is expensive to say the least, so if you are looking for cheap rent, this is not the place. These complexes are terrible to deal with and I'd consider other options before dealing with rude and inconsiderate people or the extra maintenance. read more

I really appreciate 2125 franklin and all it has to offer. The social lounge is a great place to hang with friends and watch the bachelor. Something that stands out about this apartment is the staff. Every single one of them is always happy to help especially the desk assistant Soniresa. I had an issue with my mail and she went out of her way to help me. 11/10 would recommend this place. read more
