I was in town for a convention and had a great dinner here with colleagues. The cocktail menu is amazing and it was hard to decide, but I ended up going with the Aloe Back Gurl which was perfect for a summer evening - gin and berries and not too sweet! We shared some starers including the burrata, pork belly and roasted carrots, which were all delicious. For my entree I had the pappardelle & clams which was excellent. Lots of fresh, flavorful clams in the shell with a delicious sauce over fresh pasta. Service was excellent and our server knew the menu well which helped people in our group sort out their choices. Atmosphere was modern and relaxed, but not too loud. We were able to easily hear each other even when the restaurant was full. **April 2024: Weeknight Visit** I came here to treat myself to a fancy birthday meal and was so incredibly impressed by 2120. I initially picked this restaurant because of it's location to the Amazon Spheres and wanted a patio seat - though unfortunately, a private party booked the entire patio that night. Nevertheless, I made a reservation through open table to secure my dining experience. Upon arrival, the host said "Happy Birthday" and allowed me to pick a couple of spots as the patio was reserved. When I was seated I was presented with a hand written birthday card - I've never seen that before and thought it was so sweet! I ordered the following items the Grilled Octopus to start and the Seared Scallops with carrot puree and sofritos as my entree. Both had great texture and flavor and I essentially licked my plate clean. At the end my waiter offered a complimentary birthday dessert and I selected a their seasonal ice cream, which came with a birthday candle. Best in Seattle! 2120 brings back all the good memories of my time in Europe. My friends graciously let us stay at their place during our short visit and we returned the favor by taking them to dinner. We ordered the albacore crudo, grilled octopus, pappardelle, salmon, rack of lamb, and brussel sprouts to share. The albacore tuna was vibrant and the perfect way to start the meal. The grilled octopus reminded me of our favorite little restaurant in Italy. It was tender and paired well with the bean puree. The pappardelle was ok. Noodles were a bit more al dente than I prefer, but the mussels were delicious. The salmon and lamb were the highlights. The salmon really surprised me in the best way possible. It was unassumingly packed with flavor. The lamb was tender and I think that was the table favorite for the night. I highly recommend making a reservation here if you're in Seattle. An unmatched dinner experience in Downtown Seattle! This place has it all: a phenomenal food menu, a wine/cocktail selection that will satisfy any palate, top tier service, and great seating. You have the option to eat inside or outside. The inside of the restaurant has a very sophisticated feel to it. A lot of wood and black tones, which makes it feel upscale. The outside seating is also great, as you are seated fairly close to the Amazon Spheres. Some of the tables have a built in glass fire pit, which supports the overall ambiance and keeps you warm during the evening. My party made a last minute decision to sit outside and it was probably the best decision we made all week! *Drinks* Their cocktails were amazing, point blank. The two that stuck out to me that were ordered by the ladies in our party were the 2120 spritz (vodka based), and sauvage garden (gin based). If you love tart drinks, I would recommend the latter! Their wine selection was also amazing. We ended up getting a white wine (Pinot Gris) for the table, which loosened us up for dinner ! I ended getting a glass of Seven Hills Merlot--please note that their wine glasses are huge! For dinner, I ordered the lamb rack, which has hummus, spring onions, and potato confit. It was cooked to perfection and is probably hands down one of the best I've had! With that said, i must share that you are getting 3 ribs (but the ribs are fairly large). Lastly, I want to talk about our waiter(Will). He was so attentive, engaged in our conversations, had great food and drink recommendations, and truly made us feel like we were cared for! I really enjoyed my visit. The location is fun, it's connected to the sphere and there is even free parking nights and weekend. Service is very helpful, but slow at times even during moderate traffic. They use to have happy hour which was very enjoyable, but they haven't offered it the last few times I've visited. The space is very large for the it's location. I love the decor. There is even heated outdoor dining space. A lot of different sections to help provide a bit of privacy. It's needed since a lot of people come here. I could only imagine how loud and crowded it would get had they not laid their place out so well. Very dark, great for date nights and parties. The food was pretty good, but not great. The drinks are actually better than their food. I bet they have a mixologist working because yes, once again amazing. Hats off to the bartenders. The food however, idk, you can't satisfy everyone. It was well made, just needed more or better flavors for a 5 star flavor experience. Our July 3, 2025 wedding rehearsal dinner with 31 guests was excellent. The manager, Milan, was in frequent communication, so every detail was taken care. It's giving... WILL DINE AGAIN. I flew to Seattle for a first date (don't judge me. I'm a 37 year old Pisces). Made a reservation through Yelp / OpenTable after falling in love (with the menu... calm down). The menu does a very good job of making everything sound as delicious as it tastes in real life. We started with two Kiss from a Rose cocktails with Lalo Tequila (Co-Founded by the nephew of Don Julio). They were Muy Fuerte (as my date taught me... I'm learning!). The service was truly amazing. From the super nice host staff to the server (Justin) who had all the answers and best recommendations (with in depth knowledge behind them). We started with the Roasted Rainbow Carrots. Such a beautiful presentation and the flavor was on point. I had the King Salmon he had the Steak Frites (medium). Both were delicious. The chef really knows how to plate. Actual art... We ended the night with coffee and an Espresso Martini. The bartender can teach a thing or two to the industry in Sacramento (this was another example of Justin's in depth knowledge of the menu and the work that is done by the chefs and bartenders. He knew all the ingredients that make it so good). It made for an amazing date and who knows, this just might be our anniversary spot. On a scale of 1-20, I give it a 21/20. Tucked behind the Amazon Spheres resides a powerhouse kitchen serving up passion forward plates full of flavor and flair. From the creative cocktails, to the delicious dishes listed on their seasonal menu, there's a lot worth exploring. I started with the roasted rainbow carrots, the burrata, and the grilled octopus. Although listed under 'small plates', these were big in flavor! Without a doubt, the best octopus I've ever had - perfectly peppered with just enough bite. The burrata, soft and succulent, paired with peach, hazelnuts, and ciabatta, it was a textural dream. The carrots ruined me, as if I can just go back to baby carrots and ranch like nothing ever happened. At the peak of my meal was the pork chop, served bone-in, it was juicy and robust, and paired perfectly with the bottle of wine I had ordered. The sweetest part of my meal were the desserts. I had a bite of everything, but my favorites were the lemon cheesecake mousse - creamy and dreamy, and the hand rolled donuts - delightful, fun, and flavorful. 2120 offers an elevated and elegant eating experience. The food was taking a while to get to our table so he brought us a complimentary order of fries. And it wasn't super crowded at 7pm on a Monday night - we didn't have reservations but it wasn't a problem. Food: Excellent. Everyone loved the dish they picked which is rare for any restaurant. Burrata - favorite dish for me for the night - creamy burrata went amazing with the blackberry compote and slightly bitter arugula. Pork belly was good - I have to admit it was more charred than maybe it should have been, but the flavors were there and I would probably still order it again. My hubby devoured the braised lamb cacciatore. The pappardelle was cooked perfectly and the sauce had a really balanced flavors. The sweet potato gnocchi was also AMAZING - flavors were bold and the texture of the gnocchi was perfect! Last thing we tried was the duck breast - and WOW - they NAILED the sauce, creamy, mushroom, deliciousness! I prefer my fries a little more crispy, but the garlic aioli was a great pairing. Incredible dining experience. All the food was beautifully plated. We had a large group on the outdoor patio under the Amazon spheres. Appetizers were delicious: shishito peppers, calamari was not too heavy, octopus was perfectly cooked, soft and delicious, pork was wonderfully flavorful. Main course steak was generous, perfectly cooked, with a corn succotash accompanying it that had a real kick to it. I tried the scallops and they were delicious and fresh, nicely seasoned without overpowering the scallop flavor. Lemon mousse for dessert was light and the perfect texture to round out the meal. (Tried the espresso Panna Cotta, and nobody liked it - too complicated, odd mixture of flavors and textures, flavorless chocolate cake.) For drinks, I enjoyed the Pobrecito, thick with lime and agave and the rim of the glass spicy with the spice mix developed for their entrees. Also had the 2120 Spritz, wonderfully citrus with an attractive purple layer on top. My dessert cocktail was the Nordic sunset which was rich with chocolate and orange flavors without being cloying. Located right next to the Amazon Spheres, this restaurant features a somewhat upscale dining scene with a variety of offerings, most of which are fairly standard fares. We made reservations for 3 people on a weekday, which is generally not too hard to reserve if you book a few days in advance. I personally tried the 2120 Spritz which is their prettiest cocktail but it looks better than it tastes. We shared the following dishes family style: Calamari: lightly fried and laid out in an aioli. This one lacked salt and a bit of flavor. Duck breast: a bit too salty but the duck breast is prepared medium. The seasoning is good and the sauce has a bit of sweetness to it, but the duck skin is a bit too fatty. Oxtail pappardelle: the pasta is cooked al dente, which is my preferred texture. Oxtail is rich and the pecorino makes a sharp contrast to the dish. This dish is one of the more filling dishes that we ordered. Salmon: tender and lightly charred. Not as good as I hope because the salmon skin lacked the crunchiness and flavor that usually comes from the pan sear. The quinoa and the creme did not give much flavor but otherwise this is a well-rounded dish. Cheesecake mousse: quite interesting of a dessert as it is mostly cream with almonds within, and the cheesecake base is the crumbles next to the mousse. The droplets are slightly tangy blackberry sauce. Service is excellent as water jugs are replaced fairly frequently when we drank a lot of water, and the dishes come out at a reasonable pace. But honestly, I have had much better food for this price point ($60/person) elsewhere in Seattle. I guess the main appeal of this place is the location, and definitely good if you go here as a business expensed meal in a time crunch. read more

We came here for dinner during our time in Seattle. I really wanted to love this place. All the food we ordered was good, but we felt like just a little something was missing from our dishes. It was either under salted, the flavor was too mild, or it needed just that....something. We ordered: -Washington oysters ($19/dozen) they served this with honeydew. It needed the citrus from normal lemon/vinegar topping. The honeydew made it unnecessarily sweet -fried calamari ($15) it was on the bland side, the sauce it was on didn't have a lot of flavor -grilled octopus ($18) the one dish that stood out the most. Octopus was so soft and flavor was on point -pork chop ($32) this was supposed to be in bulgogi sauce but flavor was too mild, we wouldn't have guessed it was bulgogi at all I can tell the ingredients are high quality but wish it was more elevated in flavor. It says to make a reservation which we did but we also saw people come in and were seated without, but just in case make a reservation! [Review for large group/business reservation] With it's close proximity to work, 2120 is an easy option for business meals, and a favorite with coworkers. Group sizes up to 9 people can book via OpenTable, but groups of 10+ need to submit a request on their website (https://www.2120restaurant.com/private-dining). With an expected group of 12+, we qualified as their 'private dining' option (but thankfully was not limited to automatically booking the pricier private dining room option). After submitting an interest form, their booking manager Chris responded to me within 48hrs with several attachments detailing options for seating (private rooms, outside vs indoor, current menu, fixed menu, wine and beverage list, and beverage package options). Chris was fantastic with answering my questions, adjusting the contract, and being flexible about the group size needing to be updated by a certain date. 2120 was able to accommodate our group of 12 in the restaurant, and had combined several of their tables to create one long table. Despite our size, the staff was quick to take our drink, appetizer, and main orders. The staff was prompt with refilling waters and drink orders, but it never felt like they were overly attentive or trying to rush us out. At the same time, it never felt like we were stranded and unable to find a staff member either. Their menu seems to rotate (unsure if it's seasonal or every few months), which is nice if this becomes a go to option. I went with the seared scallops ($39 before tax and tip) and a whiskey sour. We ended up ordering most of the appetizers, entrees pretty much came out at the same time (impressive for a large group order with various entrees ordered), and our group really enjoyed the overall experience/meal. The contract and deposit (to hold the table) can be accessed on their site. A few days after our booking, I requested the itemized receipt with the tip line included to make expensing easier (and to spare my Finance department from interpreting my writing). Once again, Chris quickly responded and updated the receipt as requested. We'll be back again, hopefully during the holidays! Tips: -Restaurant gets busy, not only during the holidays but during the work week too (due to being in the heart of Amazon's campus). Book ahead if possible! -Sound: moderate to loud depending on the time of day, and how filled the restaurant is. 4.5 stars This place was so delicious and fun! We celebrated our anniversary here and the service was great (even got a free dessert at the end)! We ordered the steak tartare, oysters, burrata, and smoked salmon rillette small plates and they were all absolutely delicious. The prices were very reasonable too for the food (side tip, the extra $4 is worth it for the passing time chardonnay if you like super buttery). American style but with variations and influence from other cultures. It's hard to name one since I could see Mediterranean influence in some appetizers, Middle eastern in others and even South American which what seemed to be the chef's spin on Chimichurri sauce with the exceptionally-cooked steak. Came in on a Sunday afternoon around 4/5pm. We spoke to the hostess about reserving a table for 15 later in the evening and luckily they were able to accommodate us. Great spot for a nice dinner. We had an amazing wait staff, as well as amazing food. We couldn't decide what we wanted to eat so we decided to order almost everything on the menu and even though this isn't your typical restaurant to do "family style" we did just that. Nothing we ordered disappointed, and we even went in for 2nds of some of the entrees. Notable mentions-- the oxtail pasta, the octopus, and steak. Oh so yummy. I promise everything on the menu was *chef's kiss* the octopus was nicely cooked. Juicy, and soft, able to cut through it with a butter knife. When outdoor dining became a necessity, 2120 built a large outdoor tented space to accommodate the need for fresh air plus heat. Much appreciated! The restaurant is located next to the Amazon spheres so the outside view is really nice. The interior is very well decorated and there is a good amount of space. The menu is full of quality options that rotate fairly regularly so it's worth checking out often. On my most recent visit I tasted the steak tartare, duck breast, scallops, and herbed fries. This restaurant is the epitome of excellence. It's a rare occurrence where I will try a meal that actually stops me in my tracks. This place did. I couldn't stop saying "wow" with every bite. Seriously, it's that good. We got the potato gnocchi to share and it was the star of the show, so flavorful. I got the steak and my wife got the salmon, both were also fantastic, the chimichurri on the steak was chef's kiss. This far exceeds the bar for what I would call a 5-star restaurant. The food was also a great value, you definitely get what you pay for. We would come back any day. As if the food wasn't enough, the ambiance and service was impeccable! I recommend this restaurant for the trendy drinks. Also I have to nod to the ambience and location as well. It's rare that you can grab a delicious drink and head next-door and get macaroons from Lady Yum, world renowned Macarons by the way . I came for crispy brussels sprouts. Crispy, I cannot vouch for that. You may get two or three pieces of crispy brussels sprouts the rest is extremely greasy. I was starving and only wanted to eat something green tonight so I dealt with it. I will come back with friends for drinks. However, now I'm left with a pool of grease and a few bites that I kind of want if I'm gonna be gnarly tonight but probably won't eat because I don't wanna pay for it later. read more
