Great team working here! I made an appointment online and met with Whittington the next day. She showed me around the property and was very knowledgeable about the building and surrounding area. I was looking to see another unit in the building but she found me one that was about $200 cheaper and 20 sq/ft larger with a patio as well. She did warn me that someone reserved it already and that she had to give them a fair shot at locking it down before I could take it. The moment that deal fell through with the other person, she contacted me right away to offer it to me. She helped me lock it down quickly before someone else did by having me apply for another unit so that I was already in the system ready to go. She could have easily just put me in the more expensive unit and quickly rented out the other one. However, she was really looking out for me from the get go. Thank you Whittington! Lucas was also great, he set me up with all the information I needed to process my application quickly. He was patient with me when I had multiple questions and some hang up's on my end. He helped guide me through the process and made sure I was informed along the way. Whittington and Lucas worked together as a team to get me a terrific apartment for a great price. They were both professional through and through. Buyer Beware... Management & Roaches Be very careful. The units look great, but management is entirely reactive. They moved me into a roach-infested unit, and getting out was a major headache which they made me pay for. My second unit had dogs barking non-stop for months. Despite repeated requests, management did nothing until I used the courts as leverage. Their "fix" was letting me break my lease rather than addressing the noisy neighbor. The $732 Deposit Battle I had to win a Small Claims lawsuit to finally get my deposit back. Again, bad communication. I eventually had to physically go back and pick up the original 4-month-old check myself. Noise & Building Quality Noise was a dealbreaker for me. You'll hear neighbors above and below due to poor insulation, and the heating system reverberates loudly in winter. Outside, noise from the nearby gym and bars carries straight into the units. Safety & Sanitation The building exterior is unsanitary, specifically the garage, stairwells, and elevator. Accessing the garage requires using an alley that reeks of urine and is constantly occupied by homeless people, the mentally ill, and drug addicts. Bottom Line Nice-looking units, but you're on your own. Be prepared to advocate for yourself or sue if you want basic results. read more

I've lived here two years now. I love my space, but am frustrated constantly by many things the overarching company (Redwood Urban) fails to address. The way this property is "managed" by this company is absolutely atrocious. The "secured" gate that we pay to park behind is regularly tampered with and then our cars get broken into. Packages cannot be delivered between 9am-6pm or on Sundays because there is not a proper mailroom. There is ONE maintenance guy for the whole building, including for the restaurants downstairs. One of the main elevators was broken for 6 months and JUST repaired by the end of May. The water pressure is awful and took months to get fixed when there was a major leak in a restaurant downstairs. The hallways don't have working air conditioning. The amenities are lacking in so many capacities, including that there's not even a squat rack in the gym and the hot tub is regularly broken. The security is awful (non existent) and there are no contacts for either emergencies or non-emergencies after hours. They need more staff than just the three nice people that basically run this shit show of a place. read more

An amazing place to live. I moved in in 2018 and have been having a positive experience since the day I moved here. Since then, I have seen the amenities upgraded and improved, any maintenance issues swiftly revolved, and the property well maintained. The staff here is attentive and helpful. The management team in particular has always been welcoming and keeps this residence running like a well-oiled machine. The place is pet friendly which is an added bonus and has amenities like a fitness center and a rooftop pool which now has a mural and string lights to enhance the aesthetic. I really love that it's right on the Promenade and one street over from Pine because there are lots of restaurants in the surrounding area. On that note, the location is close to a lot of great places to visit like Rainbow Harbor, the Pike, and Shoreline. The beach path is just half a mile away and is great for anyone who likes to be outdoors. I feel like you get the best of a lot - the urban environment, the laidback beach and lighthouse, and great food and drinks by living here. Also, did I mention that the units have tall 11-foot ceilings and enormous windows? I love the openness of the unit which is probably one of my favorite things. There are just a few items which I would suggest improvements on. 1. The elevator on the west side of the building could be faster. 2. Although residents are provided with secured gated parking, the guest floors are not totally secure. I say this because someone broke into the car of someone I know while they were parked on the first floor. Although they provide security, security was not able to assist unless the police came and filed a report... and the police told me to fill the report online rather than come to the property, so it was an issue that never really got resolved the way I hoped. 3. If the pool hours could be extended at all in the summer that would be nice. It's a beautiful roof and I would love to enjoy it longer. One thing to be aware of is that you may want to keep in mind some street smarts if you live here. The downtown area has some sketchy passersby (where in Long Beach doesn't these days) but any trouble can be largely avoided if you just mind your surroundings. That said, I am very happy with my choice to move here and my experience has been positive. It's nice to have a home that feels like an enriching place to live. read more

Lived at the Lofts at Promenade (now 210 Third Lofts) for a little over 2 years and it was an enjoyable experience. Application process is a little outdated as all other companies have moved to online applications but here you still have to do it the old school way and bring in applications. There is also a request for 6 months of bank statements along with the previous couple months of paystubs. Issues: 1. There is no package management solutions at this property other than going to front desk and picking up items. This is very inconvenient if you work as you will not have time to make it to the office before it closes. If you do make it in time though the office is sometimes closed early. I brought this up with management around the time I moved in and was told they may provide a box pickup solution. Upon moving out there was still no solution. 2. Exercise balls in the gym are old. We contacted management regarding the crumbling balls and they informed us they will ask the vendor to take a look to see if they need replacement, but they were never replaced. 3. No stair access. We like walking up stairs but do not have the ability to do some from the external of the building. Was informed this was a rule set by the Fire Department, except the previous Assistant Manager would always use the stairs when not working which I did not agree with. 4. Really slow elevator. One of the other reasons why we wanted to have stair access is because of how long the elevator takes to come down on the West building (Unsure about the elevator close to the Long Beach Blvd. side). 5. There were a few break-ins to the garage area. The resident parking is behind gates but if you have guests over this may be of concern to you (see attached photos). My friends car was broken into when he visited for the night. Moved out of this building to relocate to dtla area, but if I was staying in Long Beach I wouldn't have moved. This is a great building that is ran very well. Beer goggles, they can be a wonderful thing until the dawn of morning. Until the realization happens to stumble back into a sobering mind. The more you focus, you more you find yourself questioning your actions from the night before. This is sort of how I feel about the Lofts once the "amenities buzz" wore off. I'm left with a splitting headache and I'm tired. I've actually never have been more tired and exhausted than I am right now. Why am I so tired and exhausted? Because I have not had a consistent solid nights sleep since moving in 5 months ago. We live on the 2nd floor nestled in an ally just across the entrance to the parking structure. While I fully understand that I reside in an area that offers entertainment, I still feel entitled to sleep without being startled 3 or 4 times on a weekend night. NOISE- Last weekend I had just fallen asleep and I was woken up by a couple arguing, followed by a deafening sound. Immediately I sprung up and struggled to get dress. In my mind, I thought someone fired a gun. I panicked and it created anxiety. I rushed to the window to look down and as it turns out, a metal sign was knocked over. I can't sleep... I am tired. So when I initially moved in, the thought did occur to me that there was potential for loudness. However, I assured that our Loft was "sound proof". Each time we went to visit, it was mid afternoon and admittedly, it was pretty quiet around 11:30am when no one is around. Now, between the hours of 11:00pm and 3:00am on a weekend it feels like I'm hosting a club in my bedroom. TV - They use a company called Consolidated Smart Systems. You are forced to use this company if you want to watch TV. My fiancé and I have lived here for almost 2 years, and this place is simply amazing. I've held off on writing a positive review for fear of my rent sky-rocketing (it's already expensive), however The Lofts deserves the recognition. You're right in the heart of downtown Long Beach, which continues to thrive with killer new bars and restaurants. The rooftop pool is perfect for entertaining, BBQ's, or just relaxing with a cocktail and watching the sunset. As for the people at the lower-end of these reviews that complain about noise.....If you want silence, go live in the suburbs. It's really not that loud, especially if you keep your windows closed. Thursdays through Saturdays you can here people scattering to and from the bars. Occasionally you here sirens and people playing music in there cars for a few minutes, but that's about it. I typically go to sleep early during the week and I almost always sleep through the night. The management (Adam and Jeremy) that replaced Katherine have and continue to do an outstanding job making sure that the tenants needs are met. In the application, there is a question stating if you will be using the property for Airbnb. Before applying, I called to confirm that I am okay to Airbnb and he said no and they put that question on the application so they can immediately deny you. Thank god I confirmed before wasting my money on this application. Additionally, Adam the "business owner" decided to give me a history lesson about Airbnb that is extremely dated and frankly, condescending af. This guy is rude and the application is sketchy. This loft is by far the best I've had. I've rented 5 different lofts throughout Los Angeles for both business and residential. Not only is the loft a great size but I love the open floor plan, and the pool and jacuzzi is awesome! My favorite part about this place is the level of management and customer service here. You seriously receive 5 star service from Adam and Jeremy! These guys are the best, super personable and they really care about the tenants. I can't say enough about those two guys, seriously other property management companies should be trained by them. I have some mixed feelings writing this review. My husband and I moved into the lofts about 4 years ago under the management of Lyons. I cannot say enough great things about them and their staff. The apartments issues were always fixed immediately, Amenities were kept up, they hosted several events for us so we could get to know our neighbors. We ended up meeting a great group of friends while living there and over all was very positive from the Lyons management. This quickly changed with the new management company, redwood. As soon as they took over it took forever to get things fixed, our grills were broken for a long time, they took out all the plants and have not replaced them for almost a year. The signs are still up that say in progress. As a small business owner, I worked from home quite frequently and this was why we ultimately decided to leave. The building will only allow you to use consolidated smart systems for Internet which never worked. Every time I would run a speed test I would average about .8mb up and at best 3mb down. I also got terrible cell phone service in our specific unit. If you are doing any type of skyping, uploading/downloading/ or need good internet, I would highly recommend not living here. When we discussed breaking our lease, the woman managing the company offered to show our unit so someone could take over our lease. We were so happy and hopeful. This however, was not the case. We moved out 3 months later, spent over 4,000 to break our lease and they never showed it. Not ONCE! We stopped down to the office several Times a week to see if they would show it and they constantly said no one was interested in our specific unit( loft+den). The day we moved out, there was someone looking to move in to our type of unit and as we were moving out. This was clearly not the case. We had 6 friends all with units that moved out for similar reasons and all had the same struggles with the leasing office. I give it a 2 star because we did originally have a great experience and the look of the loft is great. However, we were able to move less than a block a way into a place for nearly the same price and it has double the space and two floors! read more

I enjoy living here, only taking off a star because the appliances are a little too old (washer & dryer mostly) for what we pay to live here. Other than that I love it. Management is pretty relaxed not over bearing. The location is great, I love living downtown. I live on the promenade side and don't really have a problem with noise just on Friday and Saturday night but even then I can still fall asleep fine. All in all I really like the amenities and complex, one of the best apartments I've lived in. I'm editing my review as I now have moved out. I still don't think this was an awful place to live but it did go downhill once the new management took over. They tried to increase our rent from 1800 to 2175 for a studio apt or loft as they call it... 688 square feet (I think). I mean that's pretty crazy...A lot of people moved out bc of this. They also stopped fixing the amenities like the pool area and gym. All the promotional ads are from old photos. It does not look like that anymore. The furniture is falling apart at the pool and the gym was honestly really bad. I hope they stop increasing rent so much and fix up the place, cause it was a great place to live originally. read more

My bff and I just recently moved into 210 lofts and we cannot be happier. We previously came from another apartment rental here in DTLB that we were very displeased with (rats, termites, poor service etc) after only living there for one month. Long story short, this other place ended up with us having all of our belongings in a uhaul with no where to stay. The next day we gave 210 lofts a try and Shane was super helpful and informative. He understood our situation and we were very impressed at how he cared so much to help us get into our new home the very next day! Adam helped us with our move in the day of and he went through everything very thoroughly and made us feel so comfortable and secure in our new home. The cleanliness, location, community, and apartments themselves are reasons to stay here but what really solidified our decision to make 210 Lofts our new home was the staff! Shane and Adams customer service, friendliness, and overall hospitable experience are what really hit home for us. This is the place to live if you plan on living in downtown LB. I have lived here for a year and a half, and unfortunately have to move because of job relocation. The location for this complex is perfect. Right on the Promenade, walking distance to every thing you will need - Grocery Stores, Banks, Doctors, Dentists, Restaurants, Bars... the convenience is unbelievable. If you decide to stay in, the amenities of the building are unreal. You have a rooftop heated pool and massive hot tub (that seats about 15), a fire pit, BBQ grills, and a very nice gym for apartment standards. From the roof you have views of Mt Baldy and the entire mountain range, signal hill, downtown LB, and on very clear days you can even see the Hollywood sign in the distance. The Property Director and entire staff make living here enjoyable as well, whether setting up events for the residents at local restaurants/bars, handling packages, grounds maintenance, etc, they go out of their way to make sure your needs are met. There are only 2 minor issues I have with this complex and each one lost half a star for my review. 1. There is no key fob access to the stairways externally, thus you can only take the elevator up in the main residential building. Although you can take the stairs out, this option would greatly reduce the traffic on the elevator. 2. Consolidated Smart Systems is the ISP for the building, and they are probably one of the worst I have ever had. There is also no option for another provider or another provider for TV as CSS has an agreement with DirectTV. IMPORTANT: Let me clarify one topic..... you are living in a CITY, thus there is some noise. You don't go to a rock concert expecting to have peace and quiet, correct? Understand their are pros and cons to living a city life as opposed to living in the suburbs... or under a rock. The noise is really not that bad, especially if you have ever stayed in any major city before in the US... and I live on the 1st floor in the building. read more

I'll start by saying I rarely give reviews, as evidenced by my review count. Tonight however, I need to make an exception. The Lofts @ Promenade has been my home for over a year. The amenities are top, and the management, while it changed hands recently, have both been good. The units and common areas are clean and well-maintained. Parking is included, which is another plus (yet also an issue, read on). High speed internet is not available (unless you consider DSL high speed, as other providers are kept out of the building) -- surprising given the $2400 price tag for a 950 square foot apartment. The 1-star though is based on all the car break-ins, and a call for action from the current owners. The break-ins in the garage separating the 2 buildings in the complex don't seem to end and are causing thousands in loss and damage. My car alone has been broken into twice in the last 30 days, with no items of value in plain view. Another car, same level, was also broken into last night as well. Last month, when mine was broken into the first time, a week earlier 4 cars were broken into. What surprised me most about my sharing these break-ins with the new management team last month, and this is verbatim, was that they are not responsible for keeping residents' cars secure. I beg to differ and responded as such (keep in mind many of us are already paying well over $2k to live here). I suggested they hire a security guard, 3rd shift to patrol the area, which I believe they've done (thank you, thank you). What's missing now is a guard that's proactively focused on areas of crime, which is the garage, and a leasing office that proactively reaches out to local detectives whenever there are issues, providing footage of the break-ins when available. Each incident should have an associated report. Is this being done? If not, why not? If so, where are the evening patrols by officers given all the crime? My recommendations are 2-fold -- First, this is a private garage, available only to the paying public and residents, not owned by the city. Why not have the 3rd shift guard focused on those entering the garage, residents and non-residents -- what's wrong with kindly asking for either a key fob or a unit number, or unit#/last name (and give the guard a list of tenants). If the entrant is not a resident the guard could kindly ask for a parking ticket or escort them to their car. If they say no, after being told of the security concerns, there's cause for suspicion and the guard should follow anyway. Second, building management needs to proactively make safety a top priority. This specifically means coming up with a bulleted action plan - ensure all garage areas are covered by cameras, initiate a relationship with local detectives, communicate each and every known incident to police, communicate to residents what's being requested from local police, from the security team, and from tenants too, and from the owners.. and report back to residents on the status of these requests. Tonight I filed a report with Officer Lance at the Long Beach Police Department, and encourage others to call if they have been victimized as well. They can be reached on 562-570-7260. I honestly like the building and complex, but unless the leasing office can creatively find a solution, using its own security, available footage, and public resources (to start, reach out to detectives and request hourly patrols during 3rd shift), there's no reason to think the crime will stop. Having said all that, tonight I asked for an action plan from the leasing office on improved security that focuses on specifics -- what's being requested from police, the security team, and the residents, and what the owners and management are specifically doing to combat all the crime. Once this is done, I will give the property a higher star rating. Until then, the recurring crime is the over-riding factor. Sad. read more

UPDATE - Renters BEWARE: So I was a little premature in my initial review on this place...see below. I will not deny our move-in experience was stellar, however now that we have a few months under our belt it is clear the other reviews about management being tragic ring to be true- hence the need for an update. Leasing and management is extremely responsive and friendly when getting you into the building, however once you're a resident they could care less. It took management over two weeks to respond to an email after three follow-ups on my part. Not to mention their response, when we finally got one, was beyond robotic. It did not address any of the issues of concern. I've seen a number of tenants move out in the short period of time we've lived here and their reason has been due to management. I get it now. Listen people this building is in the top ten most expensive residential towers in Long Beach and it's just disappointing and not worth the money. You're better off at Current or Edison for the price. The Lofts are slightly priced below the two, however their amenities are outdated, customer service/management is poor and the overall upkeep is below standards. Our issue here is somewhat with the disrespectful residents who let their pets defecate in the hallways, elevator,courtyard and most importantly right near my car in the carport. What's even more concerning is managements lack of response to address the issue long term and overall lack of concern when it comes ton tenant needs. We intend to live out the contract of our lease here but will not be renewing for another year unless something drastically changes. The loft itself is awesome that's why I give it two stars but everything else is a shame. PRIOR REVIEW: So far so good. We just moved in, however have been working with the leasing office for a week now and they have been nothing but amazing. Catherine and Leslie were able to get our lease completed and keys-in-hand in less than 48hrs. Both were extremely pleasant and positive. We did move on the first floor facing 3rd and Promenade- listen guys... you're moving into a loft in one of the busiest parts of downtown Long Beach, OF COURSE THERE IS GOING TO BE NOISE. I moved here from downtown LA where lofts were much more expensive. If you know LA, you know it is loud and forever busy and property management staffs there are extremely rude because someone else, who is willing to pay more, is waiting to rent your unit. It's what comes with city living, you take the good with the bad and nothing beats the location of this building. So, I think some of the negative reviews are more perspective and expectations than reality. I will update my review as we gain a few months under our belt. Unit: Our unit was spotless at move-in. All appliances work good. The wall color is hideous but we plan on painting. Amenities: All seem to work just fine and furniture and equipment are in good condition (ref. Gym, pool, business center etc.) Parking: Ok - so I'm grateful I have a parking spot and that it's included in our rent (I paid $185 in LA) however, unless you're living in the east building it's a bit of a trek and the door is a little slow... still nothing major and happy to have it. Rent: We honestly shopped for a place for over a month, rent here is fair priced when compared to other large buildings like the Current, Edison, 1900 Ocean etc. You get much more space for the price. One of Current's biggest floor plans is close to 900 sq ft and it's over $2,600. Pure ridiculousness. DOG FRIENDLY Even though Long Beach is a dog friendly city, private landlords are not. This places is extremely dog friendly and allows up to two dogs in each unit with a small pet rent of $50 per pet. We just extended our lease for another year. Love the roof top pool, spa and gym. It's always clean and the equipment is like new. A real plus is our new site manager. She is great. Everyone hated the last manager. Living at the Promenade in downtown Long Beach is a bid plus. I can walk to tons of top notch bars, restaurants and stores and there are new bike paths on both sides of our building read more

PROS: beautiful building, gym, great rooftop pool, in-unit laundry, view, location to down town Pine Street and 710 freeway, resident events, great neighbors. They just added a Yoga and bootcamp class once a week, which is awesome! CONS: NOISE: right now I'm most annoyed by the street noise. My loft faces 3rd street. omg, i dont sleep. can't have window open bc of traffic and even with them closed i hear every bus and motorcycle on their way to the 710. I value the improvements and maintenance the city is doing to keep the streets clean and improve the city of Long Beach. However, the street cleaners, construction workers and gutter cleaners work with their loud machines and trucks before 8am right next to our building. My neighbors and I are woken up too early both on weekdays and weekends. I encourage anyone else with this issue to contact their city council member Robert Garcia at District1@longbeach.gov if you are also bothered by this issue. Please can we keep all work of this sort AFTER 9AM ON WEEKDAYS AND AT LEAST 10AM ON WEEKENDS?! It has become such an issue that we will likely move when our lease has expired. i hear my neighbors walking around clear as day. $$$$ RIP OFF: The Consolidated Smart Systems thing is such crap. we are required to go through this middleman who I'm sure is giving a cut to the building. I hate Direct TV, slow, internet cuts out and not the best deal. And the building is fitted for FIOS but the Lofts wont use it bc they get kickbacks from Consolidated SS. I was lied to by management telling me if i wanted to have 10 people over for a bbq I'd have to pay $700 to reserve a space. I didnt pay, invited my friends and no one said a word. CRIME: car was broken into in parking garage. had to pay $200 to replace parking clicker that was stolen. I feel like management is trying to make things better for residents (rumour has it they have dropped Consolidated and are working on an arrangement with Verizon to get FIOS going) but rent prices are rising quick so I hope they can fix a lot of these issue before we are priced out of the building.. read more

This is my third year at The Lofts at Promenade and sometimes I forget how amazing this place is and how lucky I am to live here. I actually moved into a smaller unit in the Building facing Long Beach Blvd and then we Moved on up to the largest unit facing the Promenade (Business is good) which is awesome (and we have experienced both sides) but we never get to enjoy the splendor of what are the Lofts. Like most reviews state, amazing rooftop pool, Jacuzzi, outdoor fireplace, brand new grills (that I do take advantage of and they were replaced a few months ago) and a full gym! Noise is non-existent in the 225 Building after 9pm and on the Promenade side, it is faint at best only because there is a restaurant downstairs and you can sometimes hear that drunk girl heckling (you know that girl). The place has awesome parking (I consider mine the triple platinum VIP Spot--a few steps away from the entrance) and the best part is you ever have family or guests over there is a whole parking structure for them. One thing though-don't forget your clicker! The place is like Fort Knox (which is what I liked about the building) You need it to get into the garage, the gated area, the elevator etc etc, which to me, is awesome (sorry- I have trust issues). This is where I have to mention the staff- because of those trust issues, any my Chiweenie who thinks he is a pit bull, I usually don't like people in my place without me being there or without my spoiled dog child being in doggy daycare, but after three years I do not mind at all that they come in when I am not there, seriously. Like most people have stated, Cesar is awesome, if we needed something done in the unit, all I needed to do was tell Cesar and viola, done. I was sort of informal about it- saw him driving out- Hey Cesar! (you get it) So obviously it was nothing serious- nothing ever was. However, if I ever really needed something taken care of ASAP-- I emailed the request and Catherine (the previous manager) and now Adam (the current manager) will respond immediately and schedule something to accommodate our schedule. Initially it was due to my trust issues and paranoid about our killer Chiweenie (who is crated in the day anyhow) but I don't want to traumatize him. Which brings me to the Adam, Mr. Manager- Adam has a much more down to earth personality. Very professional and professionally dressed and groomed, like always (extra points there) It says a lot about how you will take care of others if you take time to take care of yourself--- ATTENTION TO DETAIL. He emails back ASAP- even when the office is not open. He gets to know who you are and knows your name- which is important in this environment. I always thought being in his position would be walk in the park, but if he has to deal with like 100 of me- give the man a raise! And I'm pretty laid back (until I'm not)--LOL but seriously, I would say everything was great, but that darn elevator screwed everything up (Had to be re-hauled)--but it is finally fully operational. If it's not, Adam or Cesar will be getting a call to carry my bags and me up the stairs--- (Never mind- they might do it) But seriously- he is awesome. Even if you want to get mad at him, you can't, because he follows through. So far in 3 years we have never had to do without anything essential- like water, electric, heat, air, etc. So now let's get to the colorful neighbors... Oh wait, I don't know them Again, it's a good thing! LOL I never hear them, like ever, nothing, nada. I know they are there because I saw one of them last year sometime. The place is always clean, well, as clean as it can be. Listen, to those people who let your dog's pee in the staircase and parking structure- CARRY THEM OUT!! And if they pee on you, well maybe you should get a dog walker. It's very annoying, confuses my baby to death! Any bitching I may have about the building has nothing to do about the staff, the management or the parking- Its 1 or 2 of my nasty invisible neighbors who insist on being oink oinks--- Lastly, the rent is based on what you get. If you want linolium, carpet, plastic toilets, metal cabinets and a slider closet- this might not be for you, but that will be cheaper. If you like polished concreate floors, with granite, stainless appliances and a porcelain toilet- this is your place- but you have to pay for the pleasure of indoor heat and air- seriously. And to end of all of this, if you can afford to live at The Lofts at Promenande Long Beach--You are one of the privileged (and the envy of all of those who live by the fruits and nuts). Don't complain because bitching and putting people down etc. is ugly (and causes wrinkles, which then needs Botox-...it's an evil cycle) Actually, any day you don't get a CNN alert stating that a missile is coming towards you is an amazing day! Honestly this will be the most honest and sincere review you need. (Rather long but detailed) I was a previous tenant at the Lofts. I was new to CA (I work in Aerospace and Missile Defense and my job moves me around the US often) so I'm more than aware of the process of securing, fulfilling and closing a lease. Positives... I fell in love instantly with the property because of the Location and Look. It's where you need to be. Period. The set up is just great. Wether you desire peaceful living or are an avid entertainer (like I was) all the tenants got along with each other and we all spoke and were extremely friendly, yet you were able to have your own space. The Lofts are in close proximity to everything you need. I literally came home on Thursday and Parked until work Monday morning with their secure underground parking and helpful parking attendants. The NEW staff Adam/Jeff consummate professionals AND HUMANS! Most places are business first and screw the tenants. However, their communication, follow-up, honesty and ability to work with whatever situation you have makes living enjoyable and stress-free! I had to end my lease early because of job relocation, I had to leave the state early too... they could have railroaded me with fees and the likes. They did the opposite! They found someone to finish out my lease, prepare the loft and refund me the $$$ I paid, which was their word that they would do! Maintenence Staff, I've never seen such a presence of cleaners and the likes. The property stayed in pristine condition. Even the alley where late night party goers felt the need to relieve their drinks was taken care of the next morning with an early morning hose cleaning!! That's Dedication! The Lofts are well put together. You can't hear your neighbors!! Feel free to enjoy late night intimate activities without the embarrassment of neighbors hearing or even have that dinner party go a little late you will still have peaceful enjoyment! BTW I had a 7.2 surround sound system with 4 tower speakers and we loved to watch action movies! Not once did I receive a noise complaint! Negatives... The elevator company sucks... The elevator often needs work. The front office communicates the maintenance schedule but for some reason the elevator company just can't get it right. It's frustrating. I had several visitors over. It's weird when you are first dating a lady and you invite her over and she has to pay 10$ bucks to visit you because of how our visitors parking is set up. Then I had a long term stable situation, she would have to sign the lease just to be able to park without paying if she stayed over. We paid several hundred bucks for her visits. That Sucked! Lol Sometimes a few neighbors forgot to clean up behind their pets and you could find a surprise on the way to work in the morning. The hot tub needs to be cleaned often (because it's the most used). The timer is too far from the tub so you constantly have to get out to turn it back on. Not really a problem but frustrating if you are drinking and entertaining up there. If/when I move back to Cali I will be at the Lofts. Most residents know me and what I'm saying is true. We loved it there and the Management as well. Made an appointment to see the place with Jeremy. Went the day of, and nobody was there. No instructions on how to get to the leasing office, no follow-up, nothing. Had to drive 2 hours to see the place, even called the place when I got there, no call back. Worst service from any apartment leasing office, there were homeless sleeping in the parking structure spaces, you would expect more from such a nice complex. read more

Recently, I had a great visit touring this property. The leasing professional, Shane, was accommodating, knowledgeable, and friendly. After seeing the apartments, I was sold on the community. I asked Shane if I could put down a deposit right away, and he helped me through the financial questions I had regarding the process. I went to the bank and got a cashier's check, called my roommate, and we completed the applications with the property manager, Adam. And this is where our problems began. From the very first conversations my roommate and I had with Adam, we felt a sense of hostility, as if we were holding up his day. He even made a comment to us, "This is always the worst time of the day." Granted it was close to the time of closing, I had been working to secure this apartment since 2 pm that same day. We left that day, after completing the applications, discussing our impressions of Adam and how we felt he had been condescending and patronizing. We chalked it up as a misunderstanding, yet we felt uncertain about our security of the apartment. However, we were still hopeful we'd find out more information soon. The information we received from Adam was very vague. We did not receive copies of any of the documents we had just signed, he did not provide us details about the next steps, nor did he provide me with an expected timeline of when to hear more information. For me this was a bit unnerving, as I am looking to secure a home, regardless of this specific apartment, or not. So naturally, I called the property to find out a bit more the next day. Come to find out, Shane is no longer available to speak with, but the normal associate Alex has returned. Which is understandable, however when I asked questions to Alex about my application, he offered very little evidence to suggest he was even aware the apartment had been reserved. I then asked when I might be able to either hear from Adam who was unavailable, or hear a decision. Alex then told me it could be up to a week to hear back. Of course, at this point I was frustrated. I was told I could move in by Friday. So I asked to speak with Adam and awaited his call. A few hours later, again near the end of his workday, I received a call from Adam, at which time I felt temporary relief, until I soon was made to feel like a nuisance. After trying to confirm if my documents provided to support my application, were adequate, I was met with a lack of clarity and attention. The resolution to that conversation was an email chain, with a one line question from Adam, to which I promptly replied. After which, never to be heard from again. Fast forward to Thursday, one day before my anticipated move in day. I still have not heard from Adam near the late afternoon. After reaching the office voicemail 3 times, I finally was able to get through to Alex again. No surprise, Adam isn't available. About an hour later, Adam calls, telling me my documents aren't sufficient. At this point, I'm fed up. It's one thing if they're not sufficient.
