Every time I walk in, I am greeted with warm smiles and a very positive attitude! There have been moments when I had to strategically plan out my mornings just so I could make it in time before all their pastries were sold out. This bakery is definitely my guilty pleasure, and I wish I could gatekeep how good it is--but more people need to know about it! The turkey focaccia was a taste delight, stuffed with meat and fresh greens and avocado. The bread had a nice cheese lace baked into the crust as well, which was just extra credit on an already 5/5 sandwich. Your choice of about 5 types of chips in a bag come with the sammy. I also pulled the trigger on a slice of huckleberry pie. How ever you ever imagined the best huckleberry pie, this is it. It was just outstanding. All of the employees were friendly and helpful. They also had someone cleaning all the time, which was nice to see. They do breakfast, salads, and brick oven pizza as well as sandwiches. I was too late to see any breakfast dishes, but did see several salads and pizzas, and they looked great. Water is at a self service bar, otherwise they'll bring foo foo coffee, or other drinks to the table or give it to you at ordering time. This is really an outstanding stop and worth the drive, especially if looking for a nice day trip to spend with your loved ones.

Money in the back…read more The front needs some updating and the customer service could use some follow through. The line to order is hidden (yes there's signage ) but there so much going on when you open the door. .. makes you feel like your going straight into the kitchen. They could be creative about this idea. And the customer service needs to follow through is when someone orders and doesn't have to wait and wonder if the order is done. I don't know .. maybe the business of giving good food tops all that.. although - the crab berry scone is not as good as the sourdough ones I make- the orange icing tastes like those cheap cinnamon rolls cups- it could be better. I went in twice while visiting.

They've got a great selection of items and the people that work there are all very friendly and kind. They have a place where you can sit and eat and last time I was there, they offered a wide selection of board games to play or even rent. It's an especially lovely place for kids! This part doesn't apply to me but it really bears mentioning--the chef is also wonderful about prepping gluten and sugar free treats for all you people out there with dietary restrictions. My husband had the roast beef on sourdough and he said the bread was super fresh and amazing. They made me a salad with the sandwich fixings and the young girl did such a nice job on it. The park in front offers clean bathrooms and very shaded picnic benches. The views were spectacular. It appears many locals stop here for quick groceries and beer. I'm adding a photo of my salad after I ate about 1/2 of it. They have soft serve ice cream too but we did not partake. We will stop again as the trail is amazing.
