They've got booze. It's the only store in town and they've got most everything you need to prepare a meal. Meats, seafood, veggies, fruit, dairy and bakery. Prices were not outrageous considering they've got a monopoly in the immediate area. If you're picky about gluten free, organic, free range, non GMO, etc the options may be a tad limited but you won't go hungry. Yoke's Foods - This is supposed to be Idaho - Grocery Near Me - Kellogg, Idaho

Ok so my cabin when I went up north was in Kellogg. I had nooooo idea Kellogg had a grocery store. So I drove either to Wallace for Harvest Foods (review coming) or the Walmart in Smelterville (no review coming. It's Walmart lol). The day before my lil man and I were to dreadfully return to Boise, (I say that because I belong in the mountains. Between my time in AZ and my time in Boise, I've done my time in deserts lol especially since I've always dreamt of a town that looks exactly like Wallace and I finally found it and explored tf outta it lol) But before we were to head back to Boise, I needed air in my rentals tires. Went to one gas station (of the 2 in town lol that I knew of) and she said she had no air there to go to this other place. The other place was RIGHT next to Yokes, a small, cute, super busy little store. Kellogg is popular with..ahem! Californians lol and with skiers. I was thrilled to discover this place. Just wish it had been sooner. To be honest too, I googled first to see if it was a California based company for a few reasons and one being, I had never heard of it. It's based out of Washington state. I went in, just for snacks, juice etc. The prices were like any other grocery store. Sure some things were probably a little higher, it is a small grocery store in a small mountain town where 2200 ppl live, that's not counting skiers, out-of-towners etc. Harvest Foods in Wallace shows you those mountain town prices lol. Yokes, for the stuff I bought, had the same prices as what Fred Meyers has OR it was cheaper. It was weird to walk in and not see the produce section right away. Every grocery store you go into has the produce as the first thing you see. This place, nah. Produce was to the left when you came in, beyond registers. I kinda liked that..for some odd reasons. They broke the norm lol. Store is super clean, like SUPER clean. That's always a huge plus. Staff were all friendly. Most live in Kellogg or Wallace...2 of the best small towns I've ever been to. What would make them mean? They're away from endless traffic like we have here, majority of people are not rude for the sake of being rude and HELLOOOO they're SURROUNDED by Gods county! That alone would make me wake up every day and be like "What a great day to be alive!" No, I'm not al depressed and say the opposite here in Boise lol. Of course every day is a great day to be alive. Went to ring out and cashier talked to Frankie before me and honestly, I LOVE when they do that. Why? Because dogs are little people who are true angels amongst us and it's nice when they are recognized right away. She pet him, asked his name, told him he was good little boy, so well behaved in his little bag lol, and told him he was super cute. That lady right away became one of my favorite humans. Anyway, if you're in Kellogg, unlike me, you'll find this place before I did and you'll love it for so many reasons. Friendly employees, many items were over priced. We needed a case of water bottles which they didn't have. This place was only selling them individually, and we were told there was a shortage of water bottle supply in the area so we bought six bottles. Gassed-up next door and whaddya know? They were selling a pack of 24 water bottles!!! read more

Not fast enough there slow they obviously can't do there job and can't make anything quick it takes them like 2 hours

I am in love with their Antonio's Pizza and sandwiches. Both are always well made, fresh and delicious.

I was buying Hoagie Rolls at Deli approx 3pm today... I took the 3 bags that was available and went to Deli to ask for more. Deli Manager, Mary Lou, pointed to my cart and said, "we don't have any more... that's all that I have." I then pointed behind her to the shelf where there was more and said, "i'd like 2 more of those Larger Hoagie Roll Bags... I've bought them from behind the counter before," when Deli workers haven't had a chance to put more out for customers. She turned around and said, "I need those for tonight, but I'm willing to give you 8 more Hoagie Rolls," when clearly she had several dozen behind her that's in plain site. "Ok, I'll take what you'll give me." As she packed the 8 Hoagie Rolls in 2 Small Bags. Meanwhile, I looked on my Bags in my cart to see if it says there's a limit to how many I can buy. They do not. She recommended we call orders in the morning. I'm thinking, "ok, not a problem in the future." My only thought is... if I was her Business Owner?!? I'd recommend she sell out of everything as much as possible, put limits on labels if that's her policy, and not lie or mislead customers about being out of a product when it's in plain site. read more

We are very impressed with the meat department at this Yokes. The beef and pork are very fresh and priced just right. They also have good weekly sales and specials. The butcher is very helpful in getting anything you may wish if they don't have it out in the cooler yet. read more
