Taking a star away after my latest visit. The massage by Lucy was great. The problem is the massage…read moretables. They are old, in disrepair and need to be replaced. The tables have very little effective padding. I liken the comfort to an army cot. My arms fell asleep when hanging over the edges as they were pressed against the hard frame that isn't protected by padding. The head/face rest fell several times and I was taken to a different cubicle. Same thing in there with the very uncomfortable massage table. They are small and they are not padded well. I am sure that over the years that the padding effectiveness has deterioted with use. I had to ask Lucy for extra toweling to protect my mouth from hitting the steel rod underneath the openning of the head/face rest. I didn't want my lips touching this part of the equipment that was probably being touched by other lips. I will not return until I am certain the tables have been updated. So sad to see what was once a good place for a massage go downhill the way that it has. In addition, the lack of an English speaking person in the establishment is another problem. Lucy had to call someone who spoke English, I had to talk to that person and tell them what Lucy needed to know and then Lucy got the info from them.

I entered my small massage cubicle (surrounded by 3 walls and a curtain) and waited just a moment before my massage master entered. I received a full body massage - head to toe. It was extremely relaxing and comfortable. The only downfall was that, just as I was falling into a near-comatose state of relaxation, the massage masters were talking to each other (actually more like shouting). Besides the loud talking, it was a good experience overall, mostly due to the price vs quality.

She was able to locate every area of my body that was problematic and there were alot. She got the area in my shoulder, my hip and my hamstring. She found the pain points and worked on them hard. It was like having accupuncture on steroids. I could not believe how intuitive she was in isolating the trouble spots. My shoulder was so problematic, I was thinking I may need surgery. One day later it was significantly better. I would say she is as good as a Physical Therapist, if not better. I took the 90 minute massage and other than one 2 minute water break, she worked on me the entire time.

Long story short -…read moreI've been trying to get a refund of the unused $80 of $200 in gift certificates I bought pre-covid. 3 reasons: 1) the massages were mediocre at best, 2) nobody speaks english and I have 2 rods in my back so they don't understand my requests, the last straw #3 - the manager (Judy I believe) cancelled my 330pm appointment I made at 3pm - because 2 people walked in before I got there. FYI - I only went there again after my first time because I made the mistake of getting a "deal" by buying $200 in gift certificates. 1st video - Judy the manager incessantly yelled at me on Sept 12 when there were no customers there, she finally toned down after I started filming this. (she called me a racist because I asked for an english speaking masseuse) https://photos.app.goo.gl/jKZZdkATyEsFhfTm6 2nd VIDEO - Sept 26 - again I requested the refund which Judy said the owner was coming to give me. I left the place after 10 minutes of begging her to just give me $60 instead of $80 since she was busy with 2 customers (she denied it and let the customers sit through arguing). As I was walking out, the owner approached and assaulted me as my mother watched terrified. As my mother tried to get him off of me, I had to witness Judy punching my mom twice and holding her as the owner put me in a chokehold. He finally let up after I was able to get the camera on, but then he took the camera away from me. He told me to sit on the ground like he was a cop (and later I saw him show the officers a badge of some sort). https://photos.app.goo.gl/uLoBQ9hHvuQ5q6S5A

Very strong hands and you don't even have to tell them which part of your body is aching the most, they just know. I have tight shoulders and upper back pain and they will focus most on those areas. For my husband it's lower back and they will focus more there too. I took three of my friends there after a long pickleball session and they were blown away. They loved it too! So I'm spreading the word here! 55 for full body one hour. I usually tip $20 but when they're exceptionally better I tip more. Call and make appt before you go in. This is a great plaza for a massage spot but please note, Google Maps address will not bring you here. Once I made my appointment, Taiji texted me instructions on where it was located in the plaza which was super straightforward. I was able to make my appointment the day of and communicate with them via text as well. My masseuse was Alice and she was very skilled! She was firm and used strong pressure in a rhythmic and relaxing way. She focused on target areas with deep knots and muscle tension and asked me a few times throughout how I was doing. I left feeling rejuvenated, lighter, and super relaxed! This location itself is clean and the couple's room was more spacious than other places I've been to. They recommend bringing cash to avoid tax. Tipping also felt like an obligation rather than a choice, so make sure you bring enough to cover that as well. I would come back!

I was welcomed in immediately (no reservation on Monday afternoon) and brought to a room where I was given privacy to change and a bin for my belonging, then the massage began. Shi shi (I know I spelled it wrong) was amazing and very professional. She made sure I was covered & comfortable and seemed to know exactly what I needed! The entire place seemed clean including the bathrooms and the lady at the desk was very friendly as well. I couldn't believe a 1 hour Swedish massage was only $65!! (60 if you pay cash) But with all that being said, if you are looking for a "spa" experience then this isnt the place. The massage was one of the best I've had but the place is missing the more upscale amenities. (Hence the difference in price point) For comparison, most spas have a locker room, refreshments, sauna, steam etc. This place is just an amazing straight forward massage. I'd give 4.5 stars if that was an option. I'm deducting a half star because the massage oil they used was unscented and I'm big on aroma therapy. I definitely will be going back at least once a month for the 30 minute massages they offer!
