Hands down, Toni Ann is the best massage therapist I have ever been to!! Wish I could give her 11 stars. I saw her religiously while working in New Jersey / NYC for 6 months and miss our regular sessions like the world. I work in IT so am perpetually craned over desks, laptops & cell phones while on the go so my shoulders and neck are of constant issue for me. Toni Ann is extremely thorough in addressing such individual needs, and she also enlightened me to other areas where I was holding tension; areas that I wasn't remotely paying attention to. She hones in on these sensitive spots and over the course of periodic visits wow did that make all the difference for me in mind-body balance and wellness. I am a firm believer in weekly/bi-weekly massage therapy especially during high stress periods. I'm not sure how I would have weathered my working contract on the east coast without her help! I highly recommend Therapeutic Touch Massage. I was very nervous to get a massage for the first time and I am glad I found this business. The location is very clean and neat and Toni-Ann is very professional. The massage was excellent, and afterwards she takes the time to go over what she notices about your areas of tension. Toni-Ann gave me recommendations for stretches and exercises to help with the tight muscles. I was surprised about how much I learned about my body from a massage and Toni-Ann is very knowledgable. Id like to start of by saying WOW. That's how I felt after my massage with Tony. I'm a full time EMT as well as a massage therapist. By the end of my work week my back is pretty shot, and a couple of sores and pulled muscles here and there. So even though I indefinitely need the bodywork , as a massage therapist myself I am extremely picky and cautious as to who I let work on me. Not only is her space professional Tony herself is one heck of a massage therapist. Toni-Ann is the very best! Her massages help me tremendously with tension in my back, shoulders, and neck. She is so knowledgeable and always takes the time to share her knowledge with you. She sits down with you at the beginning of every appointment, asks where you're having problems, and explains what she plans to do to help with your specific problems. She is extremely thorough and incredibly thoughtful, and she goes above and beyond for her clients, always taking the time to recommend exercises and stretches you can do at home to help you between appointments, showing you how to do them, and even offering reading suggestions if you're interested in learning more on your own. I've been a customer for about six months now. For years prior, I went to another therapist who I thought was fantastic, however, after going to Toni Ann, she surpasses the meaning in my opinion. I have a high stress job that causes quite a few issues for me. Toni Ann gives the most detailed attention to each area, most I don't even have to point out; she just finds them! Yes, she's that good! When I started having issues with inflammation, she did research prior to my appointment so she could be a better therapist to treat me. Now that is someone who truly cares. since february when i stopped working out the muscles in my legs especially my left side where i got a bad hip was causing pain in every step i have taken. i did 5 weeks of physical therapy and that helped but still had pain. i went to toni-ann twice last week and im just about pain free. i can walk just about normal for the most part. im actually heading back to crossfit this week.. she is very knowledgeable and when i mentioned certain muscles, etc to her she knew right on the spot and broke everything down for me. read more
