Life changing treatment!…read more Where do I begin? I have so many good things to say! I had been in bed for about a week with a chronic migraine attack - barely able to muster strength to even eat. The pain got so bad I contacted my primary care physician to setup a visit. After his examination he wasn't able to determine the root cause of the migraine, but prescribed migraine medications, and setup an MRI to be done in a couple of days. The prescription meds were no more useful than the OTC meds. I made zero progress, and the pain was only getting worse. That is when I decided to give acupuncture a try - given I have had success with it in the past for other problems. Jennifer was fully booked, but her office team was able to squeeze me in. They sent me the forms I needed via email, so once my appointment rolled around I didn't have to wait around in a lobby doing paper work (the last thing you want to when fighting a migraine). When I showed up for my appointment I was greeted like I was a family member, or a dear friend. The office was warm, cozy, and the smells of essential oils gentle filled the air. After checking in at the desk I was immediately taken to my treatment room - no having to sit around and wait in a lobby. Within a matter of minutes after my appointment started, Jennifer was able to determine what she thought the root cause of the migraine was, and began treating the issue. I immediately felt relief! I was in total disbelief! What I really appreciated was Jennifer's patience in describing what she was doing each step of the way, how and why things were causing me pain, and what to expect during the treatment, as well as after the treatment. She is so kind, patient, friendly, and truly cares about your wellbeing. The table was not covered in professional sheets, rather two towels that left my body was exposed for all to see. His credentials consisted of giving his mother massages. I know it wasn't the kid's fault. He was nice enough and only did as he was told. But I could not help feeling duped and insulted. Her therapist was a "certified professional" and worked her from head to toe, not by some kid the owner plucked out from the front desk and ordered to "go rub the lady's back." My husband could have done as good a job. My friend said that she thought the therapist was more professional than the owner. I had seconds thoughts about their professionalism even before I stepped foot in the place. My friend and I made our initial appointments for the same day. The owner cancelled on us the first time. I received a text an hour and a half later stating that "they are on the road now." The option to book at their location should not have been an option if it wasn't available. I received no phone call or apologies for their mistake. I would like my refund credited to my card. After this experience I have no intention of using them again. This could have been easily avoided had someone called to rectify this matter.
