2020 Lawrence is a great place to live, if you're willing to pay an arm and a leg to live down the street from a homeless shelter. Who needs an alarm clock when you can open your window to the sound of screaming bums while you watch the sun rise? Don't get me wrong, when you walk into the lobby of the building, it feels like you're in a hotel. You can SMELL that this place is going to run riot on your bank account. The 2020 leasing team will take EVERY opportunity to take as much of your money as they can upon move-out. Don't fall for the whole "pet friendly" schpeel, if you have a dog they will charge you over $1,000 to replace the carpets, which begs the question as to why they charge you a pet deposit in the first place? Still wondering that as I write this review. Also, moving out and need a place to leave your furniture? Well don't even think about leaving it at the dumster! As the lovely Katie Finch so eloquently reminded me, you get charged $100 for each piece of furniture left behind, at a dumster, where you're literally supposed to leave your trash. It is such a serious crime in fact, that Miss Katie will personally hunt you down and let you know that they have you on camera leaving your furniture there, as if you were trying to hide it in the first place! When we asked Katie where else we could leave our furniture, she very kindly told me "I'm sorry but that is not really our problem". 5 star customer service right there. I have rented at numerous different properties in Denver, and trust me when I say this was far and away the most miserable living experience I've had to date. It is refreshing to see that during a global pandemic, the 2020 Lawrence team is really setting the standard for money grubbing property managers nationwide. read more

Moved in about 2 weeks ago now, loving it so far. I happened across the place while looking for other apartments, figured I'd give it a look. Christina was very helpful, answered all my questions, and actually took the time to listen to what I was looking for before showing me around. That was a nice change from a lot of the other places around here. Once I decided on getting in, the staff were very helpful about making sure everything was set for a smooth move-in process. They checked in to make sure I had a moving day set up, reserved the elevator for me, gave me a few tips for getting past the Xcel and Comcast automated systems so power and internet were ready on day one. I love the high efficiency appliances and lighting, and even during gusty winds and single-digit temperatures I was nice and cozy. Great insulation also means lower heating/cooling bills, so I'm pretty stoked about that. On the subject of saving money, the base price for this place is a little higher than some of the other places nearby, but the amenities and efficiency of the building more than make up the difference. The on-site gym is decently equipped and covers everything I need to stay in shape. There's a weekly group exercise class if that's your thing, and there are plenty of specialty gyms nearby if you've got specific requirements there too. (Krav Maga, Crossfit, etc) The best thing for me so far has been the community. Events are scheduled regularly and attendance is good. I've already met a few people I can hang out with! Lots of "working professionals" here so far, seems like a good networking sort of place as well. The neighbors are friendly and open, it feels like a really inviting place so far. read more

I recently moved into a studio at 2020 Lawrence, and so far, I have nothing but good things to say about the building, the location, and the staff. The building itself is extremely nice, whenever I have people over they are always impressed. It's brand new so my studio has all new appliances which are all energy efficient since its considered a "green" building. Great lounge area, workout area, and beautiful rooftop area with a hot tub and a couple grills, and an awesome view of coors field. There's also a temperature controlled garage, so not having to scrape my windshield is pretty awesome. The location is great. I like to go out a lot and its nice to be able to just walk home when I feel like I've had enough fun for the night! The denver rescue mission IS three blocks down the street, but I've lived in about 4 apartments around denver and it isn't any more of an issue than any other place I've lived. As far as pricing, it is right in the heart of downtown and brand new so it's not cheap by any means but as far as bang for your buck, I havent found anything that compares and I shopped around a lot. You get a good amount of space, great views, and awesome amenities. Lastly, the staff is great. Very welcoming and open to suggestions (although I've only had to offer one, which was simply mirrors in the gym, besides that no suggestions have been necessary). Moving in was a breeze, they were always there to help and you truly do get the feeling that they are there to make living at 2020 as comfortable as possible. I've only been here for a few weeks, but if everything keeps going the way it has, I will be here for quite a while! read more

I lived in this apartment complex for about two years. Over the last few months things have gotten significantly worse. 1) Crime is rampant in this apartment complex and the staff never does anything about it. I had numerous packages get stolen. Every time I would complain I would get a response acting like they were surprised and this was the first they heard about theft. Then after talking to numerous neighbors who also had packages stolen who had also complained, I realized they were just lying about never hearing about it before and ignoring the problem. 2) In addition to getting packages stolen, there have been numerous occasions of people coming in and vandalizing the bikes in the garage. 3) I've come home to homeless people sleeping in the stairwell on more than one occasion. 4) If you live on the fourth floor sewage gasses will drift up through the pipes from time to time. This causes the entire apartment to smell terribly. After multiple work requests, they ultimately recommended running the washing machine more often to keep the smells from drifting up as often. 5) We had cockroaches in our apartment and it took three requests for them to send someone out. They put traps in our apartment and never came back or bothered asking us if it was still a problem. 6) Read your lease VERY carefully, they'll try to find any way possible to charge you. 7) Don't buy into the "lead certified" concept on keeping utility costs down. I lived in a one bedroom and would get charged about $115 a month in utilities. Of which $80-$100 was our share of the buildings utilities. read more

I've lived at 2020 Lawrence for nearly a year - I moved in soon after their occupancy permit was granted. The building was attractive to me for several reasons: location, dog friendly, smoke free, the Green initiatives, and the space for the dollar per square foot. After living there a year I can attest that all those things are true - you wouldn't believe how low my monthly energy bill is! Bark's & Rec - the rooftop dog run is amazing, and of course the location can't be beat. What I didn't know upon my move in date was how committed they were to building a true community. The community manager, the leasing agents, the service manager & staff are some of the most friendly and genuine people I've encountered. The entire group promotes a true community within our walls and are huge proponent of the LoDo area. I couldn't ask for a better community to live within in downtown Denver and am equally as happy with the building, its amenities and its value! read more

This is without a doubt my best rental experience to date. The staff is friendly and ALWAYS available. Maintenance is extremely quick to respond and they don't try and nickel and dime you for every repair. The complex is always being cleaned by 2-3 people so it stays tidy. It has an incredible must see rooftop where I spent a lot of my time. The complex even comes with an automated package delivery system so when my Amazon packages arrive they are secured in a locker that only I have access to in order to prevent any theft. I worked with Kari Clinkenbeard for most of my issues and she was incredibly helpful. The only reason I moved is to get a larger house with a yard for our 3 year old son. I looked at 10-12 units around downtown before deciding to move to 2020 and could not have been happier with my decision. My unit was directly across from the elevator and I never once heard any noise coming from the hallways or above me. Call Kari and move in now!! read more

2020 is a fantastic place to live!! I've enjoyed many things about this location including its rooftop amenities such as fire pits, patio furniture, grills, gym, and the dog park! Not to mention the other amenities offered such as the spacious and sophisticated lobby with large shared kitchen, free wifi, shared tv, numerous board games and an overall warm atmosphere. The staff has been absolutely incredible, always welcoming and friendly, and eager to help with anything we may need. Parking is easy and extremely convenient as its located inside our building in a temperature controlled garage! Our apartment has an incredible view with a great patio and beautiful view of the Rocky Mountains and Coors Field, as well as up-to-date appliances, great sound-proofing, and other energy efficient amenities. Overall could not be more satisfied with 2020 Apartments! We love it here :) read more

I have lived here for almost 3 years and I would absolutely recommend living here to anyone! To be honest, what makes this place so special is not so much the amenities and location ('cause let's be honest most of the apartments in downtown Denver offer the same stuff more or less) but the people who manage the building. I have lived in a variety of apartments and the staff here are some of the most friendly, respectable, and hard-working individuals I've ever met. They truly care about their residents and each one of them goes above and beyond their duties. The maintenance team is very responsive and respectful. They finish issues quickly and always ensure that you are satisfied. 100% recommend this place for living. P.S.--The walls are concrete and I never have had an issue with hearing my neighbors (above, below, or across). read more

We love living at 2020 Lawrence! The building is well constructed and maintained - the common spaces (lobby, rooftop patio, dog park, gym) are all really nice and well kept. The units are spacious (high ceilings, great layouts, nice fixtures) and beautiful with a lot of natural light coming through the tall windows. The neighbors are all very friendly and it's close to so many fun things to walk to. Plus, the staff are AMAZING - Joe, Britney, Kari and Lindsay in the office are all helpful and willing to go above and beyond to meet needs and help resolve any issues quickly (not that we have had any). And the maintenance team (Taylor, Gary and Adam) are awesome! We have lived in 4 apartments around the Denver Metro area and this is by far the BEST. read more

Yes, I agree. 2020 Lawrence is an incredible property. If you look at the reviews from the people who are not happy, it looks like they are rating poorly because there is a rule that they don't feel applies to them. Come on - us "real" apartment dwellers know that there are rules. IF you break your lease, there is a penalty. If you do not follow the rules, there is a penalty. WOW is all I have to say, I hate to say, but these millennials are the ones that make us all look bad, what is with the self entitlement? As for the property and the new owner, Berkshire, I love it. The team is great and the new manager is fair (not to mention so sweet). The location is awesome and for the most part, the people on my floor are great! read more

Pretty sweet pad I have. I look out my window and see the Rocky Mountains, and Coord Field. Been in the neighbor for bout 5 years now and moved around to alot of new apartments. However I fell in love with 2020 Lawrence and the atmosphere. They have events every month and they are pretty sweet. The maintenance men are good peeps and very friendly. Nate was my leasing consultant and he was just the best! The ladies in the office have been very helpful everytime I have needed something, Katie took out a package from Parcel Pending so I wouldnt be charged when I went out of town. The dog park on the roof is kinda gross and I feel bad for the people who have dogs in Downtown Denver. Everyone is pretty chill here and I love it. read more

Beginning my second year at 2020 Lawrence and I can honestly say, I love where I live! Perfect location, clean building and great staff. The office has been short staffed, but Britney and Nathan are amazing at responding promptly and staying at top of things. Very helpful team! Britney made moving in and transferring to my new apt a breeze. Maintenance is very quick to respond and take care of requests. Apartments have full size W/D which is a plus! A nice gym and amazing roof top. What I like most is how quiet each unit is. The concrete surrounding your home ensures you don't hear what the neighbors are playing on the radio or tv next door. I would highly recommend 2020 Lawrence to anyone trying to move to downtown. read more

I have lived here for a few months and I absolutely love this place. The management and leasing staff is awesome. I purchased a few of my own fixtures to dress my place up a little more and the maintenance staff has jumped on getting my stuff installed. I feel that there are a lot of working professionals and everyone really cares for the place where we live. The staff hosts lots of community event sand happy Hours, I feel that they really care that their residents are happy with where we live. I sell real estate and rent out my home. This is the best place I could find when I was making this move and I was really picky. read more

I've lived at 2020 for about a year now.. over that time, living here has been nothing but a positive experience. The ladies in the leasing office are very approachable and will try their best to accommodate you in any way they can. The building is very clean and well maintained. The people who live here (from who I've met) all seem to be very nice and respectable. The location you really can't beat if your willing to get immersed into the downtown lifestyle. I've visited many different apartment complexes in Denver through friends and can honestly tell you this is one of the best. read more

A wonderful place to live if you enjoy being disrespected and made to feel unwelcome in your own home! Leasing staff and management is rude and quick to be defensive before offering any resolutions or even the slightest ounce of basic human decency. They will ignore your calls and emails. Maintenance is slow to make urgent repairs and lack efficient communication skills amongst the team. Get ready to repeat yourself ten times to three different people to get one issue resolved. Maintenance will secretly surveil you and your guests before actually fixing anything. read more

2020 Lawrence was a great place to live! The management group and staff on site were always extremely responsive to my needs and could be reached within the day. Everyone on staff knew my names and would greet me as I came in and throughout the building. I also travel for work and they did a great job of making sure my place was secure when I was away for long trips. Never had any issues and loved the space. Extremely affordable, especially compared with other places downtown. Would definitely recommend, the only reason I moved was to relocate out of state! read more

Within days of moving in, water came into the apartment from the recent historic rainfall and within minutes of calling Rudy one of the maintenance professionals was at the door even though it was 9:00 at night. He provided a temporary solution and as promised came back the next day and fixes the damages floor boards and base board. He was so friendly, efficient and cleaned up nicely. I am so grateful for Rudy's quick help and friendliness. I feel very secure knowing if anything else goes wrong, it will be fixed quickly and professionall! read more

2020 Lawrence advertises in very colorful and picturesque photos a lavish romantic hot tub with lights over head and views of Denver and the Rocky Mountains. But their is no hot tub to be found on the rooftop of this building(one of the only buildings in lodo that Does not have a pool/hot tub and the rest is the same or more) Besides that huge let down. The only thing really on the positive side is the location. A+ Location D- Building/amenities Bottom line save your money and just bypass 2020 Lawrence on your apartment hunt. read more

I fell into some financial hardships during covid, and the office team were sensitive and understanding. They did not make me feel worthless and that showed how caring they are. Katie sat down with me multiple times to go over options and what was available to me. Nate worked with me on my payments and I appreciated that so much. I love this building and didn't want to leave, and now I can stay and renew my lease April. Thank you to the team at 2020 Lawrence Apartments for their support during difficult times. Much Love! read more
