She was in a good mood, smiled and offered me coffee after taking my order of about four pastries. She communicated very clearly as well. That's becoming a rarity these days. There are also plenty of bakery items to choose from here. I'm munching on one of their bear claw as I write this. It's delicious! Please see my photos for their wide selection of pastries. Also, they have a small gift shop where coffee is sold too. The coffee I purchased this morning is from Nicaragua and it's really good. It has a nice "coffee bean" taste. I usually drink my coffee black. A good sign of a coffee is no need for cream or sugar. The rich "coffee bean" taste satiates. If you're ever in Wilmington please check them out.

My friend ordered the biscuits and gravy with a side of eggs, I got a spinach, tomato and cheese omelet that came with hash browns and cinnamon raisin toast. The food came out promptly, with generous portions of nicely prepared food. My omelet was good with the fresh spinach and tomatoes adding some nice contrast to the eggs. the potatoes were good and the raisin toast was excellent. Cup N Saucer is well worth a visit just to experience the old school feel with solid food. The service was good and the server seemed to know all of the other customers as friends and regulars.

They didn't know how to give me a refund when they didn't have the donut I ordered and had to call the manager. It seemed like they didn't even know their own policies or how their system worked. One girl kept saying "I don't know" to my questions and walking away. Staff- do better. I felt incredibly poorly cared for as a customer here. It is the little things that go a long way. I will not be back to this location and I absolutely do not recommend.
